I love this so much! I am recovering from fairly severe depression and anxiety. During that time my eating was all over the place and my gut and waist line really suffered. I ended up gaining 20 lbs and was constantly bloated and feeling gross. 1 week into 3 meals with no snacks, my bloating is gone, my insane hunger is gone, and my depression is gone. So cool to know that this has worked for others too!
Don’t downplay the progress. That is great progress! And to me there was a big difference in between those photos. I love your videos. Thank you! I’m going through terrible digestive issues right now & just need ideas for high fiber meals.
I am an EXTREMELY routine person. It helps with my anxiety to do the same things everyday. Like eating. I eat breakfast at 6 a.m. snack at 9 a.m. lunch at 11:30.....I find my self eating at those routine times even when i’m not hungry. It’s not junk food though. Mostly raw vegan food. After watching this video I’m going to come up with a new routine 👍🏻
I’m glad you’re feeling so well and not restricting your calories. That meal looks so good! Love avocado toast. 😍 Also, congrats on the progress. You can really see the difference in your before and after photos.
Snacking has taken over my life with the holiday season! Thank you so much for sharing this! I’m going to definitely remember this next time I have a want for sugar snack. Do you have any tips on getting through the cravings for carbs and sugar because those are mine. (I am vegan, so maybe it is a protein link). Thank you!
This is something I didn't touch on in the video - and you're absolutely right it's tough to transition to less snacking with sugar cravings. You could try a couple things! You could swap your usual sugary treat for something with protein + fat (I think nut or seed butter is the best - add a dash of cinnamon to make it sweeter). You could also drink a simple protein shake with a yummy vanilla or chocolate pea protein mixed with a non-dairy milk or water - I really like Nuzest brand! And yes! See if you can bump up that protein in your main meals 🙂
Erica Fleischman - I am a vegan as well. I eradicated sugar in 3 distinct stages, although there was never any intention of giving up fruit (after all we are vegans )......1. For 3 x weeks cut out all processed sugars except for the support of malted rice syrup ( a popular sweetener used in macrobiotics - it has the lowest GI index of all sweeteners )... 2. for a week add some dried fruit to your daily diet...3. cold turkey time...NB: sugar detox can be as intense as cocaine withdrawals. Probably best done when you have no work commitments. There is a great book on this subject - “Sugar Blues” by William Dufty, available online at bookdepositry.com.....cheers from Australia...
HAHA! I know! I wondered if someone would catch that. She always wears herself chewing on a bone or trying to tackle me during MY workout that she is passed out by the time I'm done 😜
Great tips! I’m going to try the 3 meals for two weeks and see how I feel! And your lunch looks great 👍🏽 I could eat that for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Btw, can you do a video on breakfast ideas? I’m stuck making the same things lol!
I started having breakfast at 11 so if I'm out I take overnight oats in a glass jar, although I just make it in the morning. But I'm trying to stop eating at night, so I may start eating breakfast sometimes if I do get hungrier in mornings from eating less before bed. I agree, no snacking really helps.
I cut out snacking by cutting out processed sweeteners. Although I'm plant based, I find that the paleo types are correct when it comes to sugar...cheers...
I was just thinking about doing this because I find that I really don’t/can’t eat a lot in one sitting because I don’t like the feeling of my stomach getting full but I can snack all day and that’s really how I believe I’ve gained a lot of weight. So I’m going to try this and see how it goes. Thx!
This is great! Thank you! I have been snacking for ages and now will stop. I was always feeling hungry but now see that my meals haven't been having enough fat or ben as satisfying as they could be. I'm a fruitaholic and eat way too much...often leaving me hungry. So, this is just what I need! Quick question...I have coffee in the morning and often have a banana to soften the blow on my stomach. I don't have a real breakfast for a few hours after I've done my workout. Would the banana in the morning be considered snacking?
I just recently found you and love your videos and meal ideas! Thank you so much. Also, if you have pcos and are trying to balance your hormones, please stay away from eggs 😬
My go-to healthy snack is salted cashews, I LOVE cashews. One of my downfalls is that I don't get as much protein or fiber as I should and I feel like that's part of why I was snacking so much in 2021 and after going back to working in an office rather than working from home.
sorry if I missed it but if you want to add a fruit for its vitamins, would you eat it as a snack (afternoon-evening) or add it right after a big meal like breakfast?
When I have fruit, I typically have it with blended in my smoothie (1/4-1/2 cup) OR I'll have it prior to my lunch. I love a handful of cold red grapes right before lunch :) But enjoy it when you like it!
Annoying isn't it. My tall skinny muscled & toned hubby ate whatever he wanted and never worked out or exercised. If I smelled food I expanded on behalf of both of us.

Amazing, Krysta! :)
Great comment, I'm currently in the throes of quite severe depression and anxiety. I'm going to give this a try.

Woohoo! I'm so glad this was inspiring!!
I'm going to try 3 nourishing meals on their own and see what happens usually I do the 3 plus snacking!
Woohoo! Enjoy!
I do that too! I feel better when I eat regular meals only. Thanks for sharing
Nice! Yes, I've found I feel better too.

Thank you Linette! 🙂Oh my goodness...I can do avocado toast every day!
this was super helpful and insightful! snacking especially after dinner has become an ingrained habit and i’m realty trying to break it

Thank you Brandi!

Thank you so much I totally agree with you and its so helpful. Jackson is so funny how he stays at that the door and checks the weather lol
Haha he is such a goof! He'll want to go outside, then see it's freezing or raining and change his mind 🤦♀️
If I finish eating at 7pm can I have a cup of herbal tea at bed time?

Awesome!!! 🙂I do have some breakfast ideas! Here's one with breakfasts inspired by the Mediterranean diet: ruclips.net/video/Bz6f_7USMg0/видео.html

Excellent formula! Fiber + Fat + Protein + Produce makes sense to me and I'm going to try it.
It's pretty simple right?! I love it for making sure everything on my plate is balanced and going to satisfy me!
Thank you for your channel! I love what you post. Linda
Thank you so much Linda!

Awesome!
Thank you for the encouragement!
Always!
I found that a little bit of yoghurt with honey or a small fruit with nuts helps me stay full and stops me from snacking.
Definitely! Love that ideal.
For me its scrambled eggs or a bowl of oatmeal in the morning

How have I not been to your channel before?? 🤩👏
So glad you're here now!
It’s definitely not a video without Jack and Sally 🐶❤️🐶❤️
Definitely not!
I eat 3 small meals starting last week because hypertension.
I went from 7 meals a day to 4 meals a day with no snacks in between meals and saw a big reduction in anxiety.
Great info thank you
Does this mean no coffee between meals?
do you mean all the benefits can work even I have the same amount of calories in three bigger meals??
I just recently found you and love your videos and meal ideas! Thank you so much. Also, if you have pcos and are trying to balance your hormones, please stay away from eggs 😬
Thank you Kelly! I'm so glad you like the videos and meal ideas!
I like to eat 2 times a day evenn
Do what works for you!
How to start IF. I want to snack all the time :(
Do you ever have starchy foods?
Definitely! I LOVE potatoes, squashes, buckwheat, and sprouted bread/grains 🙂I just keep it to one serving in a meal 👍
Amen!

My husband snacks all day and is skinny, it’s so annoying…
hmm, what does he snack on? I bet he exercises too!
@@zien5911 no exercise. Candy bars, chips, monster
