I think the Grecale will do well for Maserati. I was at Maserati of Bergen County a few weeks back getting my Ghibli serviced, and about 10 to 13 people came in to look at the Grecale. About 4 people actually bought one while I was there. I didn't think people were actually going to like the Grecale, but it seems to be popular so far. I spent some time with the one on the showroom floor, and I must say that it seems to be of higher quality than the Ghibli, Quattroporte, and Levante.
Yeah that was one thing I noticed immediately the quality and materials are the best ever offered by Maserati on the Grecale. Good to see progress from these Italian niche brands,
The Trofeo is the big boy isn’t it? Regardless I’d take the Stelvio QV over it I think, looks more mean and muscular to me at least. How much was that 8C?!
@@autofanaticcars Has to be the most expensive Alfa in the nation lol but wow it’s gorgeous! There’s a GQV here for you, super clean, check out my latest video!
no this is what strikes me confused the Levante is so outdated in every area yet they still make it. They had a Grecale and Levante parked next to one another and the look identical except the headlights. No idea what plan Maserati has but having two vehicles pretty much in the same segment makes zero sense
The Maserati Grecale Modena versus Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio? The real comparison for the QV is to the Grecale Trofeo, of course, but I'm sure the Modena pricing could equal or exceed the QV.
the Trofeo is not out yet they said several more months and that will seriously exceed the Stelvio QV pricing by a minimum 25k-40k they said because of all the bespoke options you can get with the Maserati now. Maserati has special paint options that are like 10k
@@autofanaticcars Again, that's why your QV/Modena comparison makes some sense, even though the power difference is huge between a hybrid 4-cylinder and a twin-turbo V6; the price difference is minimal.
@@nexushexus4365 right that’s the wife’s car - what about the “2022 QV first wash” video ? The black QV ? I’m so confused haha I also thought he had 2 Guila QVs and sold the 1 for the bmw
@@autofanaticcars LOL That's why it looked so much better!! I'm a sucker for Tan interior. Great video and I'm with you about the color, love the Misano Blue, which is what I have on my 2019 Giulia.
the Stelvio styling has ages really well I personally love it and love my Stelvio it looks like we are going to buy another one just to get something newer and a new color and different options. they drive amazing.
both brands have very historic Heritage except in the USA they really shifted the brand and image for Maserati because people complained they were too sporty when they came back to the USA in 2002. Now they are a niche luxury brand trying to compete with the Germans.
@@autofanaticcars True, sadly Maserati has been mostly ruined by social media people like Doug DeMuro and others who rip almost everything they make! Alfa barely does better around here. This is a nation of Japanese car worshipers. And lately EV cult members! I've owned 72 cars since 1974, one at a time. I've never had problems with my European cars.
Looking at the engine it looks like it has a traditional throttle body which means no more Multi air, so essentially it's like the Jeep Wrangler 2.0L turbo but with a hybrid setup.
The Grecale is so beautiful! I love my Stelvio like nobodies business, but I think I’ll go with Grecale next time.
My thoughts exactly

Still think the Grecale is a bit overpriced for what it brings to the table folks....sorry, I know that's not going to sound popular to some folks
Shop around, there are some deals out there. Same is true for QF here in Southern California@@MarceloLopezJr
This would definitely be my 1st choice as a Stelvio replacement
After a few months in that maserati, the buttons that you use to shift into start the pop make creaking noises.
How does green stelvio quadrifolgio look in person?
Wondering how the 2024 quattroporte will turn out, I heard rumors they are planning to downsize the quattroporte to essentially the Ghibli size
Hope so unless they try to go neck and neck with the new 7 Series and S Class
looks good, seems to drive well. can’t complain
Wow they nailed the look and interior
yeah this blows away the Levante in every way
The Trofeo is the big boy isn’t it? Regardless I’d take the Stelvio QV over it I think, looks more mean and muscular to me at least. How much was that 8C?!
yeah it was neat to see these two SUV back to back yesterday and drive them as well. The 8c I think is $365k OMG i love the 8c
@Auto Fanatic what was the car on the d/s of that Maserati SUV?
@@autofanaticcars Has to be the most expensive Alfa in the nation lol but wow it’s gorgeous! There’s a GQV here for you, super clean, check out my latest video!
I had the Maserati on full Sport Max mode during the test drive, tried comfort for like a minute/
Stelvio FTW.
If the Stelvio and the Macan had a baby it would look like the Grecale
Don't you mean the Macan?
Nice car no doubt. So the Levante is discontinued?

@@autofanaticcars 👊the red interior was wow. It looks like a really expensive coffee maker
wish it sounded like one the Grecale in all modes had zero exhaust sound so I knew right away the audience this is trying to target.
Pretty much doing what Porsche does with the Macan and Cayenne. They overlap a ton but the Levante will just be the slightly more upmarket suv.
I'll take both.
IMO the Stelvio QVexterior looks much more aggressive in person. Interior very different, with QV seats more comfortable

Wait...that green is here on the Stelvio QV🔥🔥
yes the Alfa Montreal Green is a tick darker with more sparkle than my M3 Isle Of Man Green the cameras can not pick up these greens for some reason
@@autofanaticcars LOVE...no LUST that green on the Alfa💯
5:49 sounds like me when the wife is driving 😅
Alfa Romeo Stelvio QV because brand and performance over the Grecale.
Why is the camera so weird?
no idea why my phone was glitching out yesterday i think i just drop the damn thing so much. so i pieced together what I had for this short video
Grecale 100%.
it is a really nice car the quality is seriously the best they ever offered finally
As always, it depends on what you're looking for in a vehicle. Luxury - Grecale, sport - Stelvio.
Did they say when the trofeo is going to be released? That is the one I am most interested in.
3:39...the trident fork on the right looks like it's lifting off😳😳😳...or am I seeing things🤔
Doesn't look like it's lifting, looks like the stitching is possibly thicker on the right side.
Italian art. What dealership is that?
Miller in Greenwich
Don’t you guys already own a stelvio QV though ?
No they own a Ti Sport Q4.

Sport for everyday Luxury for vacations and weekends. You need both. 😂
Exterior: Stelvio
Interior: Grecale
yep
Maserati is a wonderful lux car but it's a 4 banger on hybrid but QV 💚 is the best of both 🌎 💚 would match nicely with the BMW. Don't you think lol
Forget the Maserati Grecale Modena vs Alfa Romeo Stelvio, was that a 2020 Alfa 4C Spider? LOL
ha ha no that is an 8C Spider the 4C big brother and ultra rare collector model these trade today from 350-450k

want to buy it?
Stelvio Qv any day
Test drive the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT
After what you said I would never buy an Alfa Romeo
Alfa or Maserati your in the same boat with the same dealers for service that is just how it is these days.
Ok 🙋👍
Grecale looks a little Porsche-ish?
you know yes I do see Cayenne in the side profile for sure
Stelvio facelift

I own the Stelvio and would not buy a Maserati. Alfa Romeo has more heritage and is priced right.

It's probably not a new engine, just added electrification, damn salesman 🙄🙄🙄
engine is classified a bit differently and it feels entirely different than the Stelvio motor
Doesn't the Modena claim 325 HP versus the 280 HP of the Stelvio, but maybe all the additional power comes from the electrification.
@Auto Fanatic it feels differently due to the electric motor, I bet the ecu tuning is different because of the electric motor too 🤔
