Ordered when it was released (April 2022) and just took delivery a couple of weeks ago (Australia). The best SUV ever made in my view. Everything about it is brilliant.
I own the GT traded my X3 for it. It's fully loaded with sunroof. Great car 0-60 5.3.. Has enough power for me. Only issue is the service advisors compared to BMW. Although no issues, I left a message to address future service needs. No one has yet called back, and it's over a month. Hope it's a one off thing as I didn't purchase my car locally.
I chose this out of Benz and BMW - Great 21" wheel with the best air suspension and 330 hp torque mild hybrid....it is a dream to drive and the infotainment is better than Benz and BMW
What new tech? My 2017 Ghibli has exactly the same tech as my 2023 Grecale except for the 360 camera which is new. The layout is just better on a better quality screen. The issue is the Grecale tech hasn’t improved. The cameras are bad quality compared to the German rivals, there is no zoom, no drag around view. There is no virtual reality nav, no auto parking and the list goes on.
I appreciate your approach to reviews. Most that I have seen bash Maserati but give a pass to Porsche for some of the same design and tech decisions. Then there are those that say Maserati will spend all of its time in the shop. As someone who has owned 2 Ghiblis, 3 Levantes and now the Grecale I have only had one of the Ghiblis that had an issue and spent 20 days in the shop. Maserati fixed the issue had me in a loaner of similar spec and even took care of the car payment for that month. After that I experienced no other issues. I am glad they took a step forward with the tech in the Grecale. Probably the only thing I truly hate is that loud turn signal it’s like they went out their way to find the loudest one.
Actually the clima system is quite nice! I hate touch screens, including the Macan 2023, although it gives some feedback when you press it, but this clima could be quite interesting and maybe even practical...
I did buy one, a fully specced Limited Edition Modena. I’ve had it for 2 months and I just got it back after it spent 37 straight days in the service center. It’s now worse than what it was so it goes back on Monday. Great design both in and out but the platform is a mess. The key and keyless entry system is a joke. I’ve never seen a car that beeps and beeps like this car does. Even my neighbors are complaining about it. It’s sporty but not a smooth drive when you want it to be. It’s great around town but becomes uncomfortable on road trips. There is lots of good inside but some awful like the cheap buttons on the steering wheel and on the doors. The backlighting on the buttons is so dim that you cannot see what the buttons are in the sun with sunglasses on. The Infotainment is well laid out but it’s a fingerprint magnet. The tech is what competitors were offering 6 years ago. The 360 cameras is weak with average quality cameras, no zoom, no drag around and no car wash mode. The HUD is very basic and it has no auto park. The high premium Sonus Faber is great and the legroom at the back is best in class. So as a current owner, buy at your own risk knowing what you are getting into. It’s the most expensive in its class and a 4 cylinder that came in at $94k is going to put many off.
I really don't like this car. I watched to suppet rhe channel. Interesting scenary and greens along the road tou were drivinf down, definitely loved it.

Absolutely not. Reliability has to be considered at these prices. Maserati's track record speaks for itself.

This is the first Maserati I have seen having a really good tech. That climate feature is really smart, well done Maserati!
