I suppose a lot of folks in any hobby sooner or later come to this point. It's taken me a ridiculously long time (nearly 30 years) to discover more of what I like in a FP and what I don't. For me, try as I might, I write small so EF and F nibs are mostly my "go to"; like you, I have a lot of Pilots! Second, I prefer a larger size/girthier pen (fits my large hand better). Finally, I prefer one of 3 filling mechanisms: piston, converter and eye dropper -- the last because I prefer a larger ink capacity. This has led me to a growing folio of pens to be sold but w/ COVID kabosh to pen shows, I mostly gift 'em out -- and rather enjoy that. I had a Pilot E95S but that's now in my daughter's smaller hands!
The Pilot E95s (F) was my first gold nib fountain pen and I had so much fun using it, I asked Goulet Pens what additional pen I could purchase that would write similarly but be a bit larger. I ended up purchasing Pilot's Custom 74 (F) and I found it to be better for longer writing sessions. I subsequently purchased a Lamy 2000 (F, but looks M by comparison), Pilot 823 (M), and, for fun, TWSBI Eco with a stub nib. I'm not ready to let any of them go. I love each of them. A Pilot Falcon (SF) is on the way.
I think you should do a giveaway of the pens that aren't worth selling. This is my favorite kind of video. I appreciate hearing about someone who doesn't randomly accumulate pens.
I’ve just started following you, and I must say this is a strange video. It was nice to see your thoughts on each pen, but whether to sell or not you have to decide. Personally I don’t like F nibs, even a Pilot steel M nib is, almost, too fine for my heavy-handed approach to writing, so “for me” these would go. On the other hand, you’re a collector, right? So collect. Unless they are duplicates, keep ‘em. There are a lot of storage options to keep pens safely out-of-sight. Finally, you could gift them which I often do. You might get a friend or relative hooked on fountain pens, and then you’d have a new FP buddy.
Hey, if you're still interested, I listed the pen for sale in Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/Pen_Swap/comments/l41msj/wts_4_pens_listed_pilot_e95s_twsci_eco_desiderata/?

It's always fun to hear about other people's pen journeys. Thanks for sharing!

Doing a giveaway is a great idea!

Thanks for your thoughts! I hadn't considered gifting the pens. That's a good idea!
