Another top notch video!! I already use the dead bug semi-regularly in my training, but these resistance band versions/variations seem great! Will try them out pronto!
Hi, I have been dealing with an L3-L2 herniation and when I do the dead-bug and lower my right leg I feel some pain on my right side. But if I place some sort of cushion under my glutes that makes it easier and the pain/discomfort goes down. Is this "cheating" ok to use? Or am I possibly setting myself up for some sort of additional lower back issues if I continue to do it? Thanks in advance.
Sounds like a simple change in hip position and should be just fine. Be sure you're doing some form of McGill Big 3 and keep in touch with your local PT.
Exactly what I needed. Thank you.

Zack has a talent for developing variations off of basic exercises--well done.
Thank you sir!
Great video Zack, I LOVE deadbugs! I learned the ipsi-lateral variation from you and use it all the time in my classes.🔥
Thanks Mary! 💪🏻♥️
These variations blow my mind! See you at your training in Minneapolis!
