Omg the way you said it was exactly how i felt at one time. It was indeed the most heart wrenching moment of my life. My guy and I are back but everytime I reminisce about that time, it would still bring me to tears at times.

Its not easy to find a coach who can relate to you. For instance when you say you knew your worth but this man breaking up with you took with him a part of you and that was a loss on your side, I felt that.... That's exactly what am feeling. Am not feeling devastated and broken because I don't love myself enough. I love myself so much. And no, my self esteem is not in the dumpsters....its way up there. But am super emotional right now because am in shock and grief.

Adrienne, I think it is important to understand that we are all going through spiritual transformations, and it doesn't necessarily mean it has anything to do with a man. Sometimes the man is also going through major changes, and it doesn't matter what you do in his next steps. His soul is basically on it's own path. I hope you can convey this, because it might disillusion women that they have more control than they actually do, and involve a lot of self-hate and guilt when things don't work out.

I have found creating vision boards have helped me manifest things in my life. I made one as I was separating and getting a divorce and placed it in my bathroom so that every morning when I was getting dressed and every evening when I was doing my wine down for the day I was reminding myself of my goals and what I could have in the future. I am now working on one for the Romantic area of my life. Taking my time finding just the right pieces to place on the board that speak to me about what I am feeling, what I am thinking and what I deserve. Hope this helps

I dated a man who has very toxic behaviors. Even though I have a lot to learn, I recognize he lost someone who would be very loyal to him. It really is his list. Now.. I’m wanting to attract a man who is trustworthy and loyal. That was my hope all along but for whatever reason I attracted a man who is a covert narcissist. I’m a licensed counselor and I didn’t believe that could happen to me.. but it did. We were engaged in six months. After that he changed. I was shocked. I had to walk away because he became abusive and started drinking heavily. I care about him.. but from a distance. He has trauma and I can empathize.. but I had to leave or I would have allowed his continued abuse. It has been a year now since I left. I’m just now opening my heart again. I still think about my ex because I’m healing. But.. I am interested in other men again.

This man's been for years my best friend and saw what other guys did to me, lifted me up every time, showed more understanding than anyone and hated them for hurting me. After a 1-year relationship he did something worse than all of them. I keep analyzing, it's driving me insane. I said the wrong thing at the worst time and he snapped. From caring/protecting/helping to cruel. It's crazy. He has MPD, an abusive past but I often came across as blaming, I've been insecure when he started to work more and spend less time with me. He did it to earn enough to get here. He lives literally on the other side of the world. I guess distance, mental issues and stress took its toll un us. It's devastating... 1hour before snapping he was caring and worrying about me and others. CRAZY!! Thanks for this, feeling less hopeless now. :)

We broke up after 3 years. I started feeling I was increasingly becoming unimportant to him so I attacked him viciously (verbally, of course). Finally, I couldn't take his indifference anymore and I left. He didn't want me back because he wanted peace he said. Our first year was really love-based but it really degenerated, especially during the covid lockdown. Now he treats me like 'business', wanting me to get my things and wanting to get rid of anything he has in his house of me. Now I'm dating and the men are all very nice and kind and sweet. A certain type of man does this and it is the most mind effing experience ever. I speak from experience. These types of men are either narcissistic, borderline personality disorder or avoidant. They in many cases have “someone in their ear” like a therapist who’s telling them what to do...Someone who’s hearing only one side of the story. In any regard they are total jerks for treating you this way and I encourage you take back your life ASAP. Hi Adrienne! Me and my guy were going back and forth for about 9 months, he moved out of state for a bit so a lot of it was by phone and video. He told me he was never coming back and that he didn't want a relationship. Then recently he came back and got a place 1 mile from me! We saw each other right when he was settled in, but then I found out he was on all the dating sites, and I let him know that I could no longer give myself physically to him or be his friend, because him telling me he didn't want a relationship but getting what he wanted from me hurt too bad. I unfriended him on social media, for the exact reasons you said on here. I am working extremely hard to heal abandonment and mother wounds, but sill mess up! SO, I back tracked a little bit, and messaged him, but he seemed to be angry at that point. He blocked me from all social media, and told me to delete his # because he deleted mine. "you made it clear we aren't and will never be friends, so it's just easier this way" I know you said it will NEVER make sense, but do you have any insight?! I understand that he probably just can't commit, but he was a great guy, and I don't even know how it would be possible to get him back if he has blocked me from his life completely.

I was dating for about 3 months, cristal clear that I want a committed relationship from first date, he pulled away after the talk if we are exclusive, no communication, no explanation. After asking for a conversation : he dont want to to waste my time, he will probably work in another city (seriously? We live in Germany, so no big distances). That I have other expectations ( why isnt he talking about him and his reason?) We experienced a great connection. He broke up w me Friday night saying he is depressed and have no feelings for anything. He said to me he don’t feel anything when he kisses me or hold my hand. We were together for 2 months. Now he wants silence but says we can still go out to eat for dinner as friends. I told him I can’t do that because I have more feelings then friends. I just don’t know what to think but I’m getting the ABC program.

Adrienne, I think it is important to understand that we are all going through spiritual transformations, and it doesn't necessarily mean it has anything to do with a man. Sometimes the man is also going through major changes, and it doesn't matter what you do in his next steps. His soul is basically on it's own path. I have found creating vision boards have helped me manifest things in my life. I made one as I was separating and getting a divorce and placed it in my bathroom so that every morning when I was getting dressed and every evening when I was doing my wine down for the day I was reminding myself of my goals and what I could have in the future. I am now working on one for the Romantic area of my life. Taking my time finding just the right pieces to place on the board that speak to me about what I am feeling, what I am thinking and what I deserve. Hope this helps

I dated a man who has very toxic behaviors. Even though I have a lot to learn, I recognize he lost someone who would be very loyal to him. It really is his list. Now.. I’m wanting to attract a man who is trustworthy and loyal. That was my hope all along but for whatever reason I attracted a man who is a covert narcissist. I’m a licensed counselor and I didn’t believe that could happen to me.. but it did. We were engaged in six months. After that he changed. I was shocked. I had to walk away because he became abusive and started drinking heavily. I care about him.. but from a distance. He has trauma and I can empathize.. but I had to leave or I would have allowed his continued abuse. It has been a year now since I left. I’m just now opening my heart again. I still think about my ex because I’m healing. But.. I am interested in other men again.

This man's been for years my best friend and saw what other guys did to me, lifted me up every time, showed more understanding than anyone and hated them for hurting me. After a 1-year relationship he did something worse than all of them. I keep analyzing, it's driving me insane. I said the wrong thing at the worst time and he snapped. From caring/protecting/helping to cruel. It's crazy. He has MPD, an abusive past but I often came across as blaming, I've been insecure when he started to work more and spend less time with me. He did it to earn enough to get here. He lives literally on the other side of the world. I guess distance, mental issues and stress took its toll un us. Hi Adrienne! Me and my guy were going back and forth for about 9 months, he moved out of state for a bit so a lot of it was by phone and video. He told me he was never coming back and that he didn't want a relationship. Then recently he came back and got a place 1 mile from me! We saw each other right when he was settled in, but then I found out he was on all the dating sites, and I let him know that I could no longer give myself physically to him or be his friend, because him telling me he didn't want a relationship but getting what he wanted from me hurt too bad. I unfriended him on social media, for the exact reasons you said on here. I am working extremely hard to heal abandonment and mother wounds, but sill mess up! SO, I back tracked a little bit, and messaged him, but he seemed to be angry at that point. He blocked me from all social media, and told me to delete his # because he deleted mine. "you made it clear we aren't and will never be friends, so it's just easier this way" I know you said it will NEVER make sense, but do you have any insight?! I understand that he probably just can't commit, but he was a great guy, and I don't even know how it would be possible to get him back if he has blocked me from his life completely.
