My rebound relationship turned into a five year toxic relationship. I was so sad about my ex that I ended up dating someone who took advantage of my weakness, so, I do not recommend a rebound relationship. 0/10. And I can say now, it’s affecting my new relationships.
In these types of situations the tactic i employ is simple. Imagine taking a look at this possibility from 50 000 feet, in an airplane if you like; take a good look. You will soon realise how insignificant and silly it all is. At the end of the day none of it will matter. If they moved on too quickly or with the person you feared, then its probably highly likely they were not for you. It should be a huge red flag as to the maturity level and you should be able to laugh at it and walk away. This is only possible if you are not reacting from ego, but from your true self who knows they deserve better.
My ex is moving in with someone she met less than a month after we broke up. 2 weeks before she told me she said 'I love you so much and I miss you but I need time by myself to sort my head out' cos she's got childhood trauma issues and is alcoholic. I left her alone then spoke to her 2 weeks later and she told me she's getting with this guy cos he understands her cos he's got similar issues, then blamed me for not being there for her and he was, even though she specifically told me to leave her alone for a while. And now she's moving in with him already.
Sorry but this is a terrible cope. How could you take someone back who’s been with someone else? You should be teaching people how to break the bond and move on if the situation allows it. But that’s hard and impossible sometimes

But i now my new love of my life, fiance soon to be husband he found me. And won't let go. Let me explain, my fiance got angry with me and then i tried to apologize but he rejected it quickly. So i thought it was over he just needed time to think but at the end of the day and several weeks later he proposed to me and now im working on a passport to meet his family in South Korea so, stay tunes next is 💍

Unfortunately my recent ex wife 10 years reconnected with her high school sweetheart about 9 months before telling me she wanted a divorce then admitted the affair 6 months later . .we divorced I'm heartbroken . .her boyfriend however has yet to tell his wife . ..breaks my heart but don't know what to do for her

Ok. Long story here and I hope someone can help me. My gf of 16 years dumped me about 3 months ago after a HORRIBLE fight. I am a very outgoing and extroverted person by nature, but suffer bad depression. My job was a great source of socializing because I really didn't do much outside the family when I wasn't working. We have 4 kids and they take up a lot of our time. Then covid hit and everyone but me an one or two others went to work from home. I was usually the only person at work besides the janitor and it sent my depression into overdrive and about a year ago I started drinking. The last 4-6 months before the break up we had been having bad fights while I was drunk and the last fight I said some pretty unforgivable things that I have since acknowledged and apologized for repeatedly. We still live together and still share the same bed. Lately she has been a little nicer to me and I had written her a few notes which she has kept instead of throwing away. I was a wreck for the first few weeks but then I basically told her the break up was my rock bottom slap in the face wake up call and I have been working hard on self improvement and mental shifts from the negatives to the positive and spending more time inside with the kids instead of hiding in the garage smoking and getting drunk. Also been totally sober except for 2 or 3 lapses when things got to be too much. A few nights ago she even rolled towards me in her sleep and put her arm on mine. She used to get pissed if I touched her even accidentally in my sleep. Sounds good, right? Now the bad part. We have a roommate who basically was like a live in babysitter for when we were both at work and the kids like him. She has been messing around with him for at least a month and it's tearing me up inside. I love her deeply and want her back more than anything. She doesn't know that I know about them. I have been thinking about moving out and only leaving her enough cash each month to pay child support (about $1700 according to the lawyer I talked to) instead of the $4000 I have been putting towards the bills. She makes about $2000 a month and rent alone is $2200 and the roommate just can't get a job anywhere. He says he applies like crazy but has only had one or two interviews in the last 9 months and probably won't find a job. The money I would leave and her income is no where near what they need to live on and it would wreck them. Should I go that route? Or should I stay at home and just keep showcasing my improvement and trying to win her over that way? What do I do?? I love her so much it hurts. 😢
