As Rori says a lot of men are on the autism spectrum. This idea came to me a long time ago but I did not want to accept it. Also I do believe that men are not interested in woman the way we want them to be. They would ask if they were. Or is it not that simple?

I have circular dated for years. It's fabulous. It allows me to avoid becoming too attached which saves energy for myself as Helena and Rori said. I recommend it as a form of self care and self discovery.

In a long distance relationship for the last month. His energy has completely changed towards me, texts and phone calls are getting less frequent. Just told me yesterday he had house guests coming and would have to place host after work. He didn’t even have 5 seconds to text me goodnight. I am feeling very put off by this. He was gung ho about a future with me in the beginning but now he is so different
I went through the same thing and it ended with the biggest heartbreak. If I were you, I would pull away. It's the beginning of the end. Ldr gets boring quickly for certain people. They hype u up, love-bomb you and suddenly it's all over and you get a text one day "ldr isn't working for me"... Don't even try chasing cuz he will know he has the power in this relationship. Prepare for the worst and don't lose your dignity. Let him go if that's what he wants. Ldr isn't the best option for you anyway so if he ends it, thank God for not wasting more of your time ✨🙌🏻✨
@@elizabethdiann9744 he actually used me for a few free trips to Vegas in the process. I paid for him and his kids to come down and see a Raiders game. He acted like nothing was wrong all weekend. I kept my distance because I had a feeling he would end it after the weekend. I took him to the airport at 3:30 am for his flight Monday morning and at 6:26 when he landed he broke up with me. Said he didn’t like my driving and that the relationship wasn’t moving in a positive direction. Then blocked me on social media and my phone number. While I was anticipating the end, I never thought it would go down like that. He manipulated and used me to the fullest extent. Then proceeded to tell me I was only a weekend fling.

Watching this over and over. Thank you again Helena for sending this to me. The guy did stand me up. I did get a phone call late late Saturday night but no message. We were supposed to go out to dinner yesterday 11/8 and I was just waiting for him to reach out to me because I feel if they're true to their feelings and want to hunt the women he reach out to me. I don't Chase men. I had met this man briefly while I was loading water into my shopping cart in a store he was an employee he followed me out to my car so I really knew nothing about him. For all I know he could have been a serial killer. You never know. I never got a good chance to see who he really looked like in person as he was working I had to leave as I had food in the car. So I said to myself, speak with this man and see where hes coming from and if hes really interested in me. But I found that the conversations were mostly about him. He would even cut me off when I spoke. He spoke about his online dating experiences his grandkids his trucking life where hes at. Never what I'm doing, what do I like, no interest in my life. He just kept on wanting to set a date for a dinner. But I wanted to speak to him more to see if he'll take interest in me. He did ask if I like jacuzzis 🙄👎 So he never showed, he never called, he never set the date which told me hes not a good guy. I haven't dated in years and I wasn't even looking to date. I thought it would be nice, but I'm enjoying my life and if it happens it happens. This was a big disappointment. I'm still open to being in a relationship. This is why I stopped dating. I just don't need this disrespect in my life. By the way I am not reaching out to him and I really don't want to hear his excuse. 😡

I was in a 2 yr long distance relationship with a good man. We both loved each other and he facilitated meet ups as often as possible in a year. I reached a point in which i wanted us to move closer to each other, get married etc but he was always hesitant about this. About 2 months ago I asked if we could take space to figure out what we want. He went completely quiet on me. Ive tried reaching out recently, he doesn't reply. It feels bad to let things go like this and I wonder if i was impatient with him. But I think its time for me to let it go as well. Heartbroken 💔

At 23:00, Rori mentions doing the next session about how to implement these tools in a marriage/commitment - Yes Please!!! I have Rori's Complete Collection, currently working through Reconnect. We are only 4.5 years married (together 1.5 yrs prior) with a 5yr old child together, but I have been over giving and over functioning nearly all of that time. I lean back but then become frustrated with what feels like constant "breadcrumbing" that I end up initiating conversation and affection. He is a very masculine man with others so I know he is capable but I feel so down at his lack of interest in me. I am a housewife, which I enjoy, going into the workforce (which I know is recommended to occupy one's masculine energy)at this point would only add more stress to our home, some more tools on how to deal with this in marriage would be so wonderful thankyou!!

An ex and me were coming back together after 30yrs. It seemed we both were on the same page. Been single for awhile, remembering what we shared and he apologizing for his contribution to our breakup, etc. This started months ago while I was in Georgia. Now I'm back home in California closer to him and he just froze. After 3 times of him pulling away twice in Georgia, once here; red flags started flying, mind you we haven't seen each other yet... His family and me loved each other. My son. It was going to be a great reunion... However, since he deals with PTSD, other health issues, it makes and takes him into depression, drinking, just stuff. I was supporting him, sending all sorts of positive vibes, just being my natural healing self. I didn't hold back from words of encouragement.... He went away for a planned trip, came back contracting covid and something changed in him??? Things got worst. After being back here for a few weeks and the third time him pulling away, I wrote to him, saying I'm giving him space, I have to think about my happiness. If you want this you need to get ready, right now I said you're not, etc, etc. It was my feelings all out there. It was pretty nice and not throwing accusations. It was about me. Writing that lifted so much off my shoulders, I felt liberated from his stuff. He came back at me with giving him a few days. He has so much on his plate, etc, etc... I didn't respond, I needed my space. A few days later, he's like... I don't know if I'm able to be part of a loving couple, married 3xs you know?! I'm feeling gun shy? I took my time responding, and said, I'm not them and if you've chosening to remain in this space that you're choice, we all have choices. Either you're doing the work, or you're stuck. This would only have to grow one day at a time, period. Anyway, to make a long story short, it's about me! He has to grow within himself he's almost 60yrs old, I mean come on. My love for me comes first. And the young man I gave birth to is heading to college, he's my concern not a man who's stuck. I love him, I do, he's special to me because of our history together, but I'm not sticking around for anyone to think I'm their doormat...f**k that? We're stronger than we know. It hurts, but to put out what you'll tolerate is better than suffering in your own head. Clarity, no matter what it is is better than bats in the bell tower... 💕🥰💕
Girl you handled that like so perfectly in my opinion. With love but letting him know you have enough self respect to not settle for luke warm relationship. Especially the part about one day at a time, and either doing the work or not. It’s not our job to fix broke men. Men are just as insecure as females if not more. Hopefully he realizes the high value woman he has the opportunity to see where this could go between you two. But I just had to tell you great job with how you handled it. I would keep the friendship but make sure he saw me building and living a beautiful life with or without him.

I did and said weird out of my character things while under the influence of alcohol. He ended up seeing a picture of another man I used to date while showing him a picture of us. I'm devastated as I acted extremely immature and he was being such a gentleman. We have a special connection. He is definitely worth trying for. He has 4 days without contacting me. My ex was very actively texting me before. He then texted me rarely.. Like once or twice a week. So I confronted him and said why he did that. He should say so if he doesnt like me, he said sorry and all that. I think he was pursuing someone who isn’t interested in him so he comes back to me when that woman isn’t interested in him. I hate him. He is just an old player.
Wow a boyfriend texting once a week? He shouldn't be your boyfriend after 3 days of not giving a sign of being alive. And that's a stretch cuz let's be honest we use phones all the time so even going a day without a one single text is a joke.
@@elizabethdiann9744 Yes. Thats the changes I noticed with him. He started to text me less then he didnt respond, when I confronted him. He said he needed a break from our relationship. Then after a week or two, he comes back again and said he wants me and he feels lonely. I am not sure he purposely did that to hurt me or what. He said he misses hugging and kissing me. He said he wants sex too a few weeks before but I dont want to. It led me to think, would things get better if we had sex? My text to him the other day when I confronted him hard, I said I didnt feel valued and we didnt hangout as much as before. We chatted last Monday, 6 days ago and this time I didnt approach him again. Its not because of my ego, the last time I texted him first and I feel like I am the one doing all the chasing which he then wasted by asking for a breakup. I think the only time he wont hurt me again if he die.
@@aliarsenal6136 I'm sorry to hear it but I can tell you from experience that it's never the same after the "break" or breakup. Especially that he isn't trying to win you over. Having sex with him would only hurt you more because I'm sure that it wouldn't make him stay. Sometimes you give your whole heart, your body, time and affection and it's not appreciated or wanted. I know how much it hurts to see someone you love losing feelings for you.... Their coldness can kill your soul. You said that he can't hurt you only when he is dead so make him dead to you. Believe me that you'll start being happy once you go no contact with him. It'll rebuild your self-esteem. It hurts less to let them go than to have a daily reminder of how much they don't care about you in the form of them ignoring your messages or replying shortly.

He said hi to me but I ignore then he said hello, I replied but I didnt see his face. We accidently get eye contact when I was heading out of the toilet. Then, I look the other way. Its just hard for him to ignore me.. I said we should act like we are strangers. Like we never knew each other. He didnt text me today though. I'm going to demand what I deserve if he wants me back.

After being separated for 20-yrs, I contacted an old friend at the end of 2019. We had a great deal of fun by text including me sending gifts to his office occasionally. Most recently I commented that his SO was horribly manipulative -- she is. It's horrible! In turn, he blocked me without explanation. I'm devastated; I was a good friend and pen pal 😔🤔😢

In a long distance relationship for the last month. His energy has completely changed towards me, texts and phone calls are getting less frequent. Just told me yesterday he had house guests coming and would have to place host after work. He didn’t even have 5 seconds to text me goodnight. I am feeling very put off by this. I went through the same thing and it ended with the biggest heartbreak. If I were you, I would pull away. It's the beginning of the end. Ldr gets boring quickly for certain people. They hype u up, love-bomb you and suddenly it's all over and you get a text one day "ldr isn't working for me"...
Don't even try chasing cuz he will know he has the power in this relationship. Prepare for the worst and don't lose your dignity. Let him go if that's what he wants. Ldr isn't the best option for you anyway so if he ends it, thank God for not wasting more of your time ✨🙌🏻✨
@@elizabethdiann9744 he actually used me for a few free trips to Vegas in the process. I paid for him and his kids to come down and see a Raiders game. He acted like nothing was wrong all weekend. I kept my distance because I had a feeling he would end it after the weekend. I took him to the airport at 3:30 am for his flight Monday morning and at 6:26 when he landed he broke up with me. Said he didn’t like my driving and that the relationship wasn’t moving in a positive direction. Then blocked me on social media and my phone number. While I was anticipating the end, I never thought it would go down like that. He manipulated and used me to the fullest extent. Then proceeded to tell me I was only a weekend fling.

Watching this over and over. Thank you again Helena for sending this to me. The guy did stand me up. I did get a phone call late late Saturday night but no message. We were supposed to go out to dinner yesterday 11/8 and I was just waiting for him to reach out to me because I feel if they're true to their feelings and want to hunt the women he reach out to me. I don't Chase men. I had met this man briefly while I was loading water into my shopping cart in a store he was an employee he followed me out to my car so I really knew nothing about him. For all I know he could have been a serial killer. You never know. I never got a good chance to see who he really looked like in person as he was working I had to leave as I had food in the car. So I said to myself, speak with this man and see where hes coming from and if hes really interested in me. But I found that the conversations were mostly about him. He would even cut me off when I spoke. He spoke about his online dating experiences his grandkids his trucking life where hes at. Never what I'm doing, what do I like, no interest in my life. He just kept on wanting to set a date for a dinner. But I wanted to speak to him more to see if he'll take interest in me. He did ask if I like jacuzzis 🙄👎
So he never showed, he never called, he never set the date which told me hes not a good guy. I haven't dated in years and I wasn't even looking to date. I thought it would be nice, but I'm enjoying my life and if it happens it happens. This was a big disappointment. I'm still open to being in a relationship. This is why I stopped dating. I just don't need this disrespect in my life. By the way I am not reaching out to him and I really don't want to hear his excuse. 😡

I was in a 2 yr long distance relationship with a good man. We both loved each other and he facilitated meet ups as often as possible in a year. I reached a point in which i wanted us to move closer to each other, get married etc but he was always hesitant about this. About 2 months ago I asked if we could take space to figure out what we want. He went completely quiet on me. Ive tried reaching out recently, he doesn't reply. We are only 4.5 years married (together 1.5 yrs prior) with a 5yr old child together, but I have been over giving and over functioning nearly all of that time. I lean back but then become frustrated with what feels like constant "breadcrumbing" that I end up initiating conversation and affection. He is a very masculine man with others so I know he is capable but I feel so down at his lack of interest in me. I am a housewife, which I enjoy, going into the workforce (which I know is recommended to occupy one's masculine energy)at this point would only add more stress to our home, some more tools on how to deal with this in marriage would be so wonderful thankyou!!

An ex and me were coming back together after 30yrs. It seemed we both were on the same page. Been single for awhile, remembering what we shared and he apologizing for his contribution to our breakup, etc. This started months ago while I was in Georgia. Now I'm back home in California closer to him and he just froze. After 3 times of him pulling away twice in Georgia, once here; red flags started flying, mind you we haven't seen each other yet... His family and me loved each other. My son. It was going to be a great reunion... However, since he deals with PTSD, other health issues, it makes and takes him into depression, drinking, just stuff. I was supporting him, sending all sorts of positive vibes, just being my natural healing self. I didn't hold back from words of encouragement.... He went away for a planned trip, came back contracting covid and something changed in him??? Things got worst.
After being back here for a few weeks and the third time him pulling away, I wrote to him, saying I'm giving him space, I have to think about my happiness. If you want this you need to get ready, right now I said you're not, etc, etc. It was my feelings all out there. It was pretty nice and not throwing accusations. It was about me. Writing that lifted so much off my shoulders, I felt liberated from his stuff.
He came back at me with giving him a few days. He has so much on his plate, etc, etc... I didn't respond, I needed my space. A few days later, he's like... I don't know if I'm able to be part of a loving couple, married 3xs you know?! I'm feeling gun shy? I took my time responding, and said, I'm not them and if you've chosening to remain in this space that you're choice, we all have choices. Either you're doing the work, or you're stuck. This would only have to grow one day at a time, period. Anyway, to make a long story short, it's about me! He has to grow within himself he's almost 60yrs old, I mean come on. My love for me comes first. And the young man I gave birth to is heading to college, he's my concern not a man who's stuck.
I love him, I do, he's special to me because of our history together, but I'm not sticking around for anyone to think I'm their doormat...f**k that?
We're stronger than we know. It hurts, but to put out what you'll tolerate is better than suffering in your own head. Clarity, no matter what it is is better than bats in the bell tower... 💕🥰💕

I did and said weird out of my character things while under the influence of alcohol. He ended up seeing a picture of another man I used to date while showing him a picture of us. I'm devastated as I acted extremely immature and he was being such a gentleman. We have a special connection. He is definitely worth trying for. He has 4 days without contacting me. @@elizabethdiann9744 Yes. Thats the changes I noticed with him. He started to text me less then he didnt respond, when I confronted him. He said he needed a break from our relationship. Then after a week or two, he comes back again and said he wants me and he feels lonely. I am not sure he purposely did that to hurt me or what. He said he misses hugging and kissing me. He said he wants sex too a few weeks before but I dont want to. It led me to think, would things get better if we had sex? My text to him the other day when I confronted him hard, I said I didnt feel valued and we didnt hangout as much as before. We chatted last Monday, 6 days ago and this time I didnt approach him again. Its not because of my ego, the last time I texted him first and I feel like I am the one doing all the chasing which he then wasted by asking for a breakup. I think the only time he wont hurt me again if he die.
@@aliarsenal6136 I'm sorry to hear it but I can tell you from experience that it's never the same after the "break" or breakup. Especially that he isn't trying to win you over. Having sex with him would only hurt you more because I'm sure that it wouldn't make him stay. Sometimes you give your whole heart, your body, time and affection and it's not appreciated or wanted. I know how much it hurts to see someone you love losing feelings for you.... Their coldness can kill your soul. You said that he can't hurt you only when he is dead so make him dead to you. Believe me that you'll start being happy once you go no contact with him. It'll rebuild your self-esteem. It hurts less to let them go than to have a daily reminder of how much they don't care about you in the form of them ignoring your messages or replying shortly.

He said hi to me but I ignore then he said hello, I replied but I didnt see his face. We accidently get eye contact when I was heading out of the toilet. Then, I look the other way. Its just hard for him to ignore me.. I said we should act like we are strangers. Like we never knew each other. He didnt text me today though. I'm going to demand what I deserve if he wants me back.
