Here me out, the Galaxy is faster if you do not consider the time it took to make the second swipes. I counted the number of extra swipes it took on the galaxy and times how long it takes. On average, it took about 1.12 seconds. 2 apps needed two swipes in the first round: Going balls and Forward assault. 3 apps needed two swipes in the second round: Flip diving, going balls and forward assault. That added up to 5 apps, totaling approximately 5.5 second used to make extra swipes. Take that time out and the galaxy is approximately 2 second faster that the iphone.

techically it was only 3 seconds apart, so you can't go wrong with either at this point.
Im curious to see how bad the Exynos 2400 on the regular S24 performs compared to the snapdragon version.
You can turn off double swipe using Goodlock, so its realistically a tie in speed tbf
Then it will be unfair… you can stop animations all together in iPhone making it significantly faster… but this is about equal grounds. Default settings
@@LogicLegionnaire You can stop the animations on the Samsung as well
@@brabb1t_526 exactly… that won’t be equal grounds because this is a speed test about DEFAULT settings and average user will have to suffer from Samsungs double swipe making the experience slower

@tyler69 let vikinnorway6725 has his victory. After losing phone of the year to the s23 ultra last year, and probably again to the s24 ultra this year, he needs to have at least one win
Also try changing to a fixed set of buttons for the galaxy? It would be interesting if you could just tap the button to go home and see if there's a difference instead of the double swipe
So notice how I'm the s24u it kept double swiping, allowing the iphone which just single swipes to catch up💀
Apps seems not optimised yet for the S24 Ultra because it usually wins against the latest iPhone + consider the double swipe to exit games on Samsung, it would have won.
Yes, I was shocked! The overclocked Made for Samsung chip should have easily won this as it has 2X faster SSD and LPDDR5X versus LPDDR5 of the iPhone. It should have won by 10+ seconds. Disappointed.
Fandroids always have their excuses
@@SaintxReborn I wish they would just accept defeat gracefully. This was very close and they should reflect how far Samsung has come to get this close to last year’s iPhone!

No, my friend. Actually galaxy is the winner. Take a closer look
Why would you keep the phone settings the same as it's released but not keeping the navigation bar
Because he wanted the iPhone to win, but we all know Samsung really won this test because the swipes caused it to fall behind, not the device's speed.
Wait
Did the iPhone make a come back after that long delay in the photo and video rendering? wow
iPhones are crazily fast 💨
so you do this speed test every day? if not, how does it matter in real life? Galaxy at least has hundreds of features more than the iPhone to cope with real-world use.
@@Ghostrider-sc3rx He just commented about the speed of the iphone and didnt put any shade towards samsung phones and here you are still being triggered for no reason
It would be better to change the layout of Galaxy from slide to home button, and then compare to see the time difference…
Repeat the test, please!
That double swiping and that game killed the time. How optimized is that game for the S24 Ultra? It's a tie to me
Not surprised, I have the 15 Pro Max, it’s a superb phone. I had the S23 Ultra last year, I’m sure its successor is a great phone as well but I think for now, my Android phone will have to be my OnePlus Open over the S24 Ultra. I’ll see what Samsung brings with the Z Fold 6.
I have this phone as well, I was surprised at how lightweight it felt and how well it fits in hand and the phone itself is superb.

Take that time out and the galaxy is approximately 2 second faster that the iphone.
did you count the two swipes apps of the iphone too?
@@Isaac-lm6pl I didn't count for those that the iPhone had to double swipe too.
Can you pleassseeee for the love of God, make the home button default on screen before doing the test. Loosing a few milli seconds every time you have to swipe the home button is unfair.
Its like pitting samsung behind the start line while iphone get to stay in the front with the double swipe up to exit which is gut wrenchingly painful lol

You should test a phone with Mediatek Dimensity 9300, like Vivo X100 Pro, it would smoke both of these phones.
You can enable single swipe for fullscreen mode in the settings for the Galaxy. Please do in future comparisons.
Ah yes the iPhone wins. I can sleep soundly for another year.
Because of a biased youtube video?
It's the double swipe to leave the app on the galaxy slowing it down, is definitely a tie
iPhone always win to speed test, but we need the battery test please??
Crazy test that one. Good thing is it doesn’t matter what phone is purchased these days, you’re getting plenty of speed for opening and using apps.
Even my work Galaxy S9+ still performs admirably and whizzes around the OS!
Also have S9+. And it works fine
Same. I use it as a backup phone or when I'm traveling. Surprised how the screen still looks better and brighter than my much newer iPhone lol
If you have a samsung and dont want to have the double swipe to leave apps download goodlock -> Navstar -> Allow back gestures in full screen
Tbh most ppl are too dumb to do something like this and samsung too chickenshit to make this standard so as a samsung knight, the win goes to the iphone GGs
What did I see, iPhone faster in Facebook and Starbucks and slower in video export??? They never disappoint to surprise me.
I have seen other rendering apps that the iPhone beats the S24U by a long way. It would be best to use the fastest export app per OS.

@@vikinnorway6725no they didint won this test is crap
Well if u disable gesture hint allowing the galaxy to close the apps in 1 swipe instead of 2 it would be an easy win.. not to mention animation scale in dev options
You can remove the double swipe by installing home up via goodlock and enabling gesture top priority settings

@@LogicLegionnaireit's not. This channel is not about default settings and it's also not about the everyday user. People who watch these videos are not normal users, we are tech enthusiasts and we want to know what the tech we buy is capable of.
@jayantadlakha I agree, though the default navigation mode is 3-button which negates needing to install a 3rd party work around. 3-button would make this a non issue, PhoneBuff changed it to gesture navigation through.
Please fix the two swipes in samsung this doesn't look fear
Maybe on the next test for samsung, enable swipe gestures for full screen apps using goodlock -> home up -> task changer. This will keep you from having to use 2 swipes to exit some apps
No he rather make the iphone win
🤣Exactly.. 69 completely biased
iPhone 15 Pro Max: $1199 - it incurs development costs for the hardware, OS, iCloud, data centers maintenance, the App Store & other services, apps developed for iPhone, Webkit, Swift, and so on.
Samsung S24 Ultra: $1299 - they have significantly lower costs because Google & Qualcomm supports 80% of them.
No need to mention that on iPhone, you enjoy better optimized & designed apps, consistent performance for all users (Samsung is the only company selling 3 different processors with 3 different performances), and, most importantly, you receive OS updates on time, the very minute they are launched, not after a few months!
The iPhone and Google Pixel are the only phones that truly justify their price.
Samsung is slow asf 😂

That double swipe, man!?
Samsung has 8 double swap vs Iphone 3, and that make this test unrealistic and baist for Iphone. Every double swipe is +0,6sec on end reasult. So Iphone has 3sec of unfair advantage. Fair time for Samsung is 02:54:37 , and beats Iphone for 00:00:34! It is close but win is win so Samung is new King! Details:
Double swipe :
1. Subway Surfers (+0,6sec) Samsung and Iphone
2. Flip Diving (+0,6sec) Samsung and Iphone
3. Going Balls (+0,6sec) Samsung
4. Fwd Assault (+0,6sec) Samsung
...
In First round time Iphone has 1,2sec unfair advantage. So real fair time is for samusng is 02:07:35 and beats Iphone for 00:00:02 sec. Lets see second round:

5. Subway Surfers (+0,6sec) Samsung and Iphone
6. Flip Diving (+0,6sec) Samsung
7. Going Balls (+0,6sec) Samsung
8. Fwd Assault (+0,6sec) Samsung

In Second round Iphone has unfair advantage over 1,8sec. Fair time for Samsung is 00:47:01 beats Iphone for 00:00:33
Change the settings on the S24, it's taking a double slide to get out of the apps.
Really man you just access the developer option and taking out the animation and your S24 will fly :) but for more flexibility and fun Samsung is the ultimate phone, just take your Samsung and connect to a monitor and you have a PC is just amazing, AI function another great option, live translate and taking with anyone on this planet is just mind-blowing. S 24 ultra need some updates and I phone is dead for good. 😂😂😂
I have both and I stop using iPhone I really want to sell that phone is not worth that amount of money. Is a mid range phone 100%. Oppo find 7 is better that iPhone :)
The difference in speed is down to having to double swipe out of certain games on the Galaxy.
These test are hilarious 😂. Both 15PM and Galaxy S23U have better time score than 15PM and S24U now, same apps besides "Going Balls" which is now on test, before being Fit the Fat. Both 15PM and S23U have 10 seconds less than the test now, and you really cant put this difference only on that game, because for what i saw Going Balls loads even quicker than Fit the fat. This is a pure joke of a test. 😂😂
Guessing the battery test will be done before the drop test 😂
Please upload them asap 💚
This happens because Samsung has one more gesture when closing the app
I use both iPhone 14 pro max and Galaxy S23U. When use s23u, I always use the good old virtual home button which is way faster than swiping, which iPhone doesn't even offer as the option. I don't think it's unfair to use home button option of Galaxy in speed competition because they offer that as option. Watching that machine's slow double swiping is just pain and it's not fair IMO.
This channel everytime try to show faster iphone. He can easyly disable double swipe but he didnt. And between two apps machine waiting more time on the S24 Ultra. But on the right side they try to finish everyting faster. I unsubsicribe this channel more then a year ago. One more reason for unsubsicribe this channel, %1 of people using mobile phones for excell word etc apps. They have to change test apps. Last 2-3 years android flagships faster then iphones. If you turned off animations and turned on navigation bar on Samsung (which you can't do on iPhone), it would probably win.
Thats how most of them are gonna use phones with animations
And animations can be turned off on iphone for your information
Should have enabled navigation buttons on the S24U to keep it more fair. iPhone = one swipe. S24U = one button press.
Also change S24U animations to 0.5x.
Anyone who disagrees is a coping Apple fanboy mad because the iPhone can't be customized 😄
Double swipe is a feature to prevent accidently exiting in games.. Most android phones have it!
Yes, but it should've been disabled for this video. Or, the default navigation buttons should've been used. This test was set up to benefit apple because iPhoneBuff wanted the 15 Pro Max to win.
