I love how her lipstick matches the purple on the curlsmith products 💜
I was just going to say that. Perfect match, I love it!
Hehe thanks for noticing 😉💜
It’s the little touches.
I was going to comment on it too 😍
Your lipstick 💄 brighten up your face. You are beautiful. I enjoy your videos they are helpful.
Moisture overload is the reason that deep conditioners tell you to only leave it on for 10 minutes or whatever amount of time it says on the back. If your hair is healthy you should only be using it for that amount of time. And you should only go over that time if your hair is ridiculously damaged and dry.
Exactly and I’ve heard from licensed curly hair stylist that unless your hair is really damaged you don’t have to deep condition every week. Using a quality conditioner goes a long ways.
@@courtneyneal1385 exactly, I only use a deep conditioner when I clarify my hair, which is maybe once a month and I just use it in place of my normal conditioner. And that's because my hair has never been colored, and it's been heat styled like 4 times, so it's not damaged.
Makes perfect sense! 😊
I ended up with overmoisturized hair because I followed Bianca's advice to "deep condition at least once a week". The reality is, how often you deep condition depends on your hair and even climate conditions. I live in a hot and humid weather, so not only I was drinking a lot of water, deep conditioning weekly, my hair was also absorbing water from the environment.
This is why you should listen to your hair and not an influencer's opinion based on THEIR hair and experiences 🤦🏽♀️
@@SaraHinata I completely agree! I feel like so many influencers act like their experience is the only experience, and you should treat your hair how they treat theirs. But you shouldn't, that's also why I hate when influencers say that everyone should use a certain product because then you get people saying it didn't work because it's not what they needed. People need to start listening to registered hairstylists and their own hair, not just influencers.
I ve never heard someone explain hair porosity so clear and in such a short time 👏
You'd be surprised... There are better videos out there. Not that hers is bad, it just she didn't go very deep into it
She's rocking that purple lip.
NaturalReign is a high porosity RUclipsr. That has really helped me as someone who has high porosity. But I love watching Bianca’s videos.😍
BEAUTIFULLL!!!
I'm telling you, Sunday is my wash day and I get lazy 🙈. But every Sunday (after watching your video) you encourage me to hop up in the shower and wash my hair. Thank you so much for being such a GREAT influencer to follow 🤗😘
Her hair looks so good! I need to do whatever she’s doing!
I have heard a billion definitions/explanations of porosity. Yours by far is the easiest to understand & retain. Thx. By the way you have the most poppin', gorgeous curls.
PRETTYYYY also not a lot of people can afford curlsmith products so I think a "cheaper" alternative would be the SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie Coconut and Hibiscus I believe it has some Protein in it :D
Yes curlsmith is ridiculous in price. Then again that’s why I started making my products so I don’t sacrifice quality for the lower price
@@MiVidaBellisima This is why I buy the jumbo co-wash from Curlsmith! Yeah it's expensive, but it'll last me a couple months so I'm not buying it as often as shampoo and conditioner. (Although tbh a lot of curl products that aren't from the big name companies like Pantene, Herbal Essence, Granier Fructis, etc are hella expensive.)
I concur. Plus, Shea Moisture products do not contain phenoxyethanol , like Curl Smith, which is why I’m not going to try them. Why use chemicals on your hair and body or in your home when there are great alternatives, in my opinion.
It has silk protein , a unique protein that strenghtens and moisturizes but for porous and or damaged hair they might need more than the coconut and hibiscus line
I think I’m going to check back here every wash day for a protein/moisture refresher course! Theres so much information! 💜
Oh my gosh, you answered my prayers - I think I overloaded on protein yesterday! I’ve been using the protein power treatment from Shea Moisture EVERY WEEK for 6 weeks and then yesterday I used CurlKeepers silk protein conditioner (left it on for around 20 minutes because I got carried away) and my hair became sooooo frizzy and feels super dry😢 I was wondering what the hell has happened. I needed this video!
Thank you for explaining the different types of porosity. The illustrations definitely painted a clearer picture for me. Btw, your makeup is beautiful. Love the highlight on your cheeks 😊
Thanks for describing the scent of the products! I really appreciate it!
I FINALLY got my kit. I've bleached my hair and it needs some help. Can't wait to use it!
Wanna say Thank you! I was watching my RUclips and out of nowhere one of your videos started playing. I was intrigue and started thinking about what I do with my hair, boils down that I had never taking care of my hair, or had a clue how to. Now 1 day out of week I take time to take care of my hair. Now, I can say wow. I love my hair and I changed my products. Where my hair actually looks healthy, never seen my hair this way before. Again thank you for what you're doing!
My Curlsmith bond product just arrived today! I can’t wait to use it!
My hair is healthy but it was destroyed by medication that made my hair to fall out temporarily and now I’m in a recovery journey to save the rest of my hair
Thank you so much for always blessing us with your knowledge in every video! You’ve truly saved my hair I appreciate you so much 🙏🏼
Me: let’s see if Bianca posted a video before I go deep condition my hair 😅
Love the matching lipstick and I will look into trying this product and see how it works for me and keep ya'll posted
I always learn so much from your videos! Thank you for the porosity break down. Super helpful!
Great video, once again Bianca! 💗 I noticed the new thing you do to colour coordinate something weekly and I think it's a really nice touch.
The “in the shower “ gel is amazing! My hair gets super defined 😊
Purple is the new black!! Wow! Love it!
Right on time Bianca...saw this kit, know my hair is out of balance just was didn't know what to do with it. Beautiful results. Can't wait to try it.
Always coming through with the best tips 💜💜
Would love to see some more unsponsored videos
I will be posting more unsponsored videos but there is literally no difference between the two except that one helps me make a living and the other does not. What I have to say will be exactly the same.
totally agree, its not always about the money is it
@@BiancaReneeToday Its not easy to just take ur word for it, curlsmith is still paying you to promote their brand. Unsponsored videos no matter who makes them will always be more raw and believable Bianca
Loving your look today, especially the lippie!!💜💜💜
Love the color of your lipstick! I'm working on my protein/moisture balance, it's a bit of a struggle right now, but I'll get there!
Always on point!! I looked this up 2 days ago on Google because I fell asleep with the mask on 🤣🤣
Yesssss I’ve been wanting this video for sooo long!!!! Thank you girl 💜
When I started transitioning in November, all my hair wanted was moisture. Now it can’t get enough protein. It’s so hard to keep it balanced.
My hair needs all of it it’s dry and has breakage. It doesn’t know what it wants at this point 😂
@@lunaas1029 my hair really loved the ecoslay banana cream deep conditioner for moisture and now it really loves the curl smith bond curl rehab salve. You could try the rehab salve and then wash your hair and use a moisturizing deep conditioner and maybe that might help. I also really enjoy the herbal hair mask from The Innate Life. Their scalp treatment and Rose hair elixir are also AMAZING.
I've noticed this when cocktailing styling products in my hair! If I use a very moisturizing, protein free, styling cream, my hair tends to look better when I pair it with a gel that has protein. (Or vice versa). It's cool to see you talk about this, since balance is something I'm trying to work on for my hair now 😁
Okaaaaay! I’m loving this video. the switch up of more stylers is great and can we just mention the matching lip stick to the products and the blow dryer!!? Dope as always, thank you for this video!
Great video and explanation on the products! This is why I love watching your videos! Very informative
So informative as always!!!
With the "dramatic zoom" I just paid attention on how glowy and beautiful your skin looked like 😍 and love your lipstick 💜
THANK YOU for this vid! Your hair looks GREAT!!! 😊😊😊
I have said this soo many times..but oh my lord your hair growth journey is outta this world😍.
Much needed video. I've been using the same product over and over again for months until its over. My hair is dry all the time cuz of protein overlod☹
Such an educational video! I really appreciated this :)
Anyone else now looking at their hair and analyzing to see if they can tell if they need protein or moisture even though they have no idea what theyre doing..... love your videos wish there was a new one everyday
😂😂 I believe in you!
Love your outfit! Curls poppin as always
Also I don't know anyone else that can rock purple lipstick as well as you do
I am sold Bianca! Just purchased the Full Strength Line today with the bundle sale. Can't wait to see results!
I am obsessed with your lipstick! 😍 I have avoided protein for awhile now but I know i need it. Thanks for this video I will have to try it again! 🤗
You are 100% right about knowing ur hair porosity. I am low porosity and for the longest I used Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor oil line (WHICH I LOVE) but my hair got so dry and I couldn't get Moisture in for anything. then I realized it is a protein line and there was the problem. so a balance is def needed.
Excited for my bond rehab to arrive. My package sadly got sent back to the US bc it was missing apart of my address lol. I plan to use the bond rehab to help define my curls more in the front of my hair and more moisture rich deep conditioners bc I have noticed my hair has a bit of frizz even when it’s wet and I found out that could mean your hair needs more moisture. Love the video Bianca!! 💜
I can’t wait to try these products hopefully soon! I love your lipstick! Purple is my favorite color. You are so funny. Love it!
Your curls are amazing...love your reviews definitely going to try this out on my low porosity hair.
Oh I love this. I have been enjoying these products I am going to try reversing how I layer it like you did! 💜
Okay but like keep rocking this purple lipstick 💜😍 also can’t wait to buy the salve to help bring back my momma’s curls! Help her understand that the curls are still there, just need a little love
still stuck on the fact she used THREE products!!
I LOVE those CURLS!! Thank you for the viedo!🤗❤️❤️❤️
The ingredients you listed are amino acids which are the building blocks of proteins.
Hey Bianca! Come through with the tips! Some are newbies or need refreshers so this is a much needed video! ✨ Also low porosity hair here! I'm super protein sensitive so protein treatments aren't the best for me but I do use products that contain protien so it's not as harsh on my hair! It makes a difference and it helps me nto to completely avoid protein because our hair does need it! Just a tip for fellow low porosity curlies!
I tried the cream and then the foam with the in shower style fixer and didn’t like the combo BUT imma try it just like this!! Thank you, Bianca!!!!!
Thank you for this video! 👏🏽 It was really well done and I definitely learned a thing or two or three 😄. I appreciate you taking the time to educate us curl friends. I feel more equipped to go and tackle my 2 daughters hair, as well as my own. 😊🥰 Have a wonderful week!
Omg almost 600K. Can't wait for 1M 🥳
Crazy thing, I tried the new curl smith line and I added the same gel before even watching this video 😂 I’m glad we are in the same page
Really switching it up using 3 products!! Love it!
Right!!?? Haha 😅
I just finally picked min up yesterday. I got the repair and thr cream. Using them today, I can't wait!! I have medium to high porosity naturally.
Curlsmith keeps coming up with fantastic products
You are the princess of curl smith💜💜
Period!
How about telling them to drop a curly hair kids line so that you can try it on your baby’s hair😊😊
Counterintuitive tip: if you hair feels dry and brittle/stringy, and you're adding crazy moisture and it's not helping, try adding protein or using a bond-builder. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my hair, but when I did a strand test I found my brittle, stringy hair was super stretchy, so I did a quick protein treatment and it solved the problem almost immediately!
I've replaced conditioner with hair mask and gave been using it for the last 4 years. It's been working great on my dry low porosity hair! Loved getting a diff perspective from your videos
You are my number one curl-friend! Love your humbleness. ☯️☮️🌈
Yusss, those tresses were extra juicy and next level fire results with this combo!!
Figuring out the balance between moisture and protein for my hair has always been a struggle for me. Definitely considering the bond builder from Curlsmith, and the in-shower styler Geo has definitely become the MVP in my products drawer 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Literally here before youtube notified me of the new video✨
low porosity is like quarantine restaurants
AINT NOTHING COMING IN AND AINT NOTHING GOIN OUT
I want these new CurlSmith so baaaaddddddd but we over here saving money and trying to make my product stash smaller
Also I’m a weirdo lol
I have protein loving low porosity 2c-ish virgin hair (if I cut it,it would probably be 3a)
lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m dying over here and can relate!!
I love the cream ! My hair is also medium porosity now as it changed from low. I can’t wait to use the other protein products in this line 💜💕💜💕💜💕💕💕💜💕💕💜💕💜
Would you mind PLEASE finding curly girl products for people that have eczema on their scalp and making a video on them please? I feel so guilty having to use head and shoulders to sooth my scalp when it breaks out but it's the only thing that heals it.
Have you tried Dermovate Ointment on yr scalp?
@@donnabent8317No, because I have to be careful with ointments because of how sensitive my skin is. I have too much product on it I break out in big red patches that itch. Does it soak into the scalp super fast?
This ointment is prescribed for yr condition! Have you tried it?
@Dragongirl My doctor doesn't know what's causing it because I already eat a healthy diet and I try not to stress about things too much but she thinks it could be stress that causes my flare ups
@@donnabent8317 I never have tried it because my doctor told me head and shoulders would fix it and it does. It helps the flare ups with just one wash.
I live in Canada 🇨🇦, and I’m 💗the Curl Smith feather-light protein cream . For a protein cream it has left my hair so soft and moisturize, and I scrunch the foam into just my end. Day 4 and it’s winter aproved😍.
Another great informational video 💜
I always learn so much with your videos. Thank you for providing this amazing content. Also, I know you get a lot of comments and I doubt you have time to read them all, but I am constantly telling people about your channel so that other curly girls can learn from you. ❤ I hope you're having a wonderful day!
Definitely going out to pick up the Bond Salve from Ulta!
Thank you. I needed this.
Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us. It has helped so much
Definitely need balance. I’m going to try these products ASAP! 💜
Thank you!! I love this bonding product by curl smith. My hair cannot do too much protein but this was amazing to make my curls juicy and healthy! I started using it every other wash day.
Great video as always. Still learning this balance. Definitely needing more protein. Double quencher which I have used before and hydro creme soothing mask are on tap for today’s wash day.
On tap 🤣 that would be amazing
Love love love!! Thank you for the insight!!
This is sooo helpful! Thank you!
Been waiting today! Haha. It was about time 🤭
I’m like medium porosity, I’m low naturally but i dye my hair and i can tell there’s a change but not a total change. My hair still acts as if it’s low porosity. I deep condition with a protein once a month and i use a moisture deep conditioners weekly. I think it keeps my hair very balanced, i hope this can help others !!
I agree! I was low porosity but noticed a change now that I have more color
@@BiancaReneeToday hey so basically I have 2b 2c hair and I want to buy the Jamaican black castor oil shampoo and I want to use the Shea moisture mankia yogurt and honey conditioner the blue one u reviewed I wash my hair once a week and I’m thinking to use the conditioner like that will that be protein overload or not please awnser I have commenting on so many people vids but I have no awnser:(
Which protein treatment do you use?
@@larissalaguna7722 manuka and honey conditioner is that protein?
@@larissalaguna7722 i love the mielle orgánics Rosemary deep conditioner, the Jamaican black castor deep conditioner by Shea moisture, and i just started using the raw sugar repair deep conditioner which is sold at target and is amazing
This video is very helpful, I have low porosity hair and have never done a protein treatment although I have used coconut oil in my hair before. This might be something I need to try!
I can not wait! Till these new curl smith products come to Scotland 🏴. Please please please hurry up! I need these in my life! 😂 X
Thank you for always teaching us.
The salve is great! Also the cream is nice too... Decent hold!
You really just used three products 🤯. You betta switch it up!!!!
Luv luv luv her. She is Awesome!!! Will you try Ms Ellis new treatment products?
Perfect timing for this video! I've been struggling with this balance. Before the cold weather came, I had it down. But with the weather change it's been a struggle. I get frustrated because I can never tell until I've completed my whole styling routine. I have used this CurlSmith line, but I think when using all of the products together, it's too much protein, not enough moisture. I can't seem to get the balance.
Your hair is getting long and beautiful 😍
Love that you brought in the spice girls😅
I just ordered it and I can’t wait to try it
We love to see it. I really wish CS was sold in South Africa
I'm in the UK and we can only get some CS products. I have to get my prima and amiga ( who live in Sad Diego and Utah) to send me them over from 🇺🇸 USA
Yes, it is my wish too. Cape Town Nattie over here
🤣🤣
as always............thank you for the great video explanation
Thank you 🥰❤️
NOTIF GANG AYEEEEEEEEEE 💙
I love you Bee:) and thank you so much!
Used it, loved it. Once a month for me.
I would pay for you to be my personal hair styler. You have the most amazing curls I’ve seen 😍 And that purple lipstick is gorgeous on you 😘
okay so i needed this video. please read full thing because bianca didn't really answer my question that is literally the title of her video. here is my story that nobody asked for
so my hair my whole life was straight, not where long even do i wanted it to be, always healthy and moustarized. i only used shampoo because my hair didn't need any extra mouisture. until the second half of sixth grade when my hair stated to fall out, probably because of stress becuase i was going to a lot competitions in school and because of my general situatiton i was in. since then my hair has been falling out i was at the doctor and that was like my day 5 hair and i asked is there any problem with my hair and she blamed everything on my oily hair and since then i have been washing my hair twice a week instead of once and there is not really much diffrence. but she also said that i should wash my hair everyday so i think we all understand that she really didn't know about hair. so then my hair became frizzy don't know why, it would look straight but really frizzy until like day 3 or 4 when my hair would get oily. so since i wanted to help my bff with her really weird curly hair,i did a lot of research and since then i realized my hair was turning curly. my dream since i was a child was coming real. but then i understood that it's not how i expected it to be. i have been using sulfate paraben silicon free products, i added conditioner/deep conditioner added difrien types of styler to see what works(honestly nothing really gives me that okay curls and frizz free look but my okay my hair is curly i guess) and yes my hair did improve but over the time my hair would if i don't use conditioner it would be really dry even do it never where that why even before i started using conditioner and if i use conditioner i would have less curls that if i don't use it. maybe it is that i don't have black hair since i am serbian( even do i look like turkish person which isn't weird since we where ocupated by them for 500 years and because of that rarely people are blond even do that was "serbian look" hundreds of years ago) but i want to write this because 1. i want answer for myself what the heck should i do know since there must be a way to make my hair not dry and in the same time curly and i have been on this curly hair journey for over a year now and more advices would mean a lot because i really can't buy any magic hair products you use because we don't have them here and they usually don't ship her and 2. because for people that have problem same as mine, just because your hair is curly that doesn't mean it needs more moiusture. just because there is less people in this category but that doesn't mean we don't excist, since everybody needs their place in natural hair comunity, and I think more people should know that just because your hair is curly that doesn't mean you have to put a lot of mousiture in it since if your hair is already naturally mouistourized you can damage it by putting more and people don't relase that until they damage it like me because everybody was telling that you just need more mousture
thank you for everbody that read this and i think if enough people join conversation we can find the answer, since i am sure that i am not only one with this problem
