I've been natural since 2009 and have spent several thousand dollars on hair products. I'm a former product addict, and to this day Aussie conditioners are my 1# favorites.
I started reading ingredients because of you Bianca, it's been game changer for my curls! Also the I buy the Maui Flaxseed line at Target they still carry it.

So happy to see you in my home state of Wisconsin! I live in humid Alabama and summer in extremely dry Rocky Mountains of Colorado, so my hair gets all of the environmental conditions! I have to stock products for my fine curly hair for all of those environments so an affordable video like this is so helpful!

Great guide! I love Walmart for hair products. Btw, the NYM hard hold gel is an Ulta exclusive. The foam has zero hold but works really well as a styler under a gel. Really great clumping and moisture. The instant freeze mousse really has a strong hold but doesn't weigh down my hair, great for refreshes too.

I just bought the Maui Moisture Flaxseed shampoo and conditioner at Target last week so it’s still out there! I love it for my fine hair so I hope they don’t discontinue it.

You should try out brazilian curly hair products! I started using them and never gone back . My favs are from skala and salon line
I use the green Tia 4 conditioner to pre poo. Works great at detangling

The best detangling spray I found really it's a leave-in conditioner but it's a great detangler is "Not Your Mother's" Naturals line "Royal Honey & Kalahari Desert Melon."
I've only seen it once in Walmart Denver and I never saw it again but I wish they would put this back on the shelf! I have coily hair which is a small spiral curls and this spray is very moisturizing it makes my hair so soft I wish I could find it again... 😢

Amiodimeticon is one of my favorite hair ingredients!! My hair is very similar to Chloe’s.
Aussie's Instant Freeze gel was just reformulated. It used to have jojoba in it. They took it out. It was my favorite gel.

Wow this made me so hyped to see the two of you together first of all! I love this video! However...I was curious to know if you had heard about a lot of curly girls cancelling shea moisture because of the new formulations due to new ownership....I was noticing since then my hair had a lot of buildup was dull and dry and breaking off and many others have said the same. This is supposedly because of the amount of oils and waxes and protein they use its coating the hair and not letting moisture in...I have since then gone cold turkey in almost all their products for my 3b-3c curls and I am trying to find alternatives and I am extremely lost 😭
Aww man!! That’s good information to know. I don’t get to use any brand too consistently since I’m trying new things every week but if you aren’t seeing great results with your hair, definitely switch it up. Have you tried Rizos Curls yet?
can you do another educational video of everything you don’t like in your products? I feel like I fall more in line with chloes hair. I have thick curls but mine are tight like yours.

Ive recently accepted that i have fine (and currently very damaged almost always 🤷♀️🤷♀️). So i use less prosuct/ leave in now than before and maybe its helping

Hi do you look for ingredients that can cause long term hair loss. I have and I had to make adjustments on what products I use.
Don't know if you can get it over there but moogoo Australia fantastic shampoo and conditioner and pump Australia gel. All curly girl approved
Dimethicone is not bad! For us HP living in an Island with humidity 365, is a must!

I definitely need a cheaper repair bond shamp & conditioner. The bond bar at sallys is expensive for basically none 😂
Sometimes I hear us black curly hair girls say that certain products are just for us, but realistically, this video shows that any ethnicity can use it different types of products if they have a certain hair type. Just like my mom and I use haircare lines like Nexxus and Paul Mitchell shampoos and conditioners which were not necessarily marketed to black women.

I came here 3 months ago on this video and it helped me choose Maui Neem Shampoo. Well now they have discontinued it and now i had to switch to the dark green bottle (very disappointed and super itchy now)

No, definitely keep shampooing your hair at least once a week & clarifying when need be. Build up can cause a lot of scalp issues

Not your mothers curl talk hard hold gel is so great for longer hold and for humid environments. I get day 3 curls even on day 8. I just refresh it every morning by just spaying water with a mist spray bottle 9:37

Did yall call Walmart before going before I've never seen any location this well stock. Darn near every hair care product that I use from stores are never in stock especially Shea Moisture.

Walmart in Denver Colorado near Dayton and Hampden Ave. is a Superstore and there are a lot of curlies in that area. They could use two or three more aisles for curly hair with a more diverse selection of brands. Walmart are you listening???
