Jeff can’t deduce Lary’s weight from said number since he doesn’t know the original number. Susie can’t know Jeff or Larry’s weight as she doesn’t have enough info. She does the same thing Jeff did, rinse and repeat until the last person has added their weight. They make a big deal about the weight thing, but the fact is pilots have standard weights they assume in the absence of people providing the information.
If a plane cannot support an extra 100 or even 600 pounds, it is not structurally sound. A plane needs to be strong enough to stay in the air and should not be prone to being weighed down so easily. The worst case scenario is that a plane would use a bit more fuel due to the extra weight, which would be more costly. But once it's in the air there should not be a problem.
That really is one of the funniest bits that I've seen of Season 10 (unfortunately, I don't have a TV right now, so haven't been watching "for real" but only clips on RUclips). @@lewisfraser4153 You gotta see this in the perspective of the characters. In real life, to deal with a guy like Larry wouldn't be that funny I suppose, and she has a sister-brother relationship with Larry.
This show is completely different from the early seasons. In the early seasons, things/conversations moved a lot slower and jokes were more scarce. Now, there’s yelling every single minute and a joke every other line. If you watch the newer seasons vs the older seasons, it’s like 2 different shows.
Yeah conversations were more natural. As I understand it those earlier seasons (about 1-7 I think) were less scripted. And Larry David took sole responsibility for the storylines. Later on he got some help and things became more contrived.
Seinfeld was the exact same way. Only thing is Larry left after season 7, and then 8 and 9 were very different in feel. But even in Larry’s run....huge difference from the early Seinfeld seasons to seasons 5-7.
tonberrykinged I’m not saying one is better then the other. I much prefer the early seasons, but I understand how the newer seasons might appeal to a larger audience. Mainly because the new show flows more like a sitcom and less like a documentary (like the earlier ones).
Jon S The differences I noticed are 1. Larry seems like an animated version of the earlier seasons of himself. It seems like he’s playing a character of himself, instead of being himself. 2. More celebrity appearances.....In the early seasons I often didn’t know any of the actors. 3. The storylines are more absurd and a lot less realistic. 4. Jeff’s whole character has changed. He used to be a lot more reserved and the opposite of Larry. Now he’s turned into another version of Larry/Susie. 5. Cheryl in the new seasons is a bit of a douche bag. In the older seasons she was a voice of reason. 6. Way different flow in conversation. In the older seasons, the jokes weren’t obvious and the conversations were calmer and much more realistic. Now, every other line is a joke or someone is yelling.
Kyle Clarke Agreed. Pretty much all these things were said about Seinfeld too. Personally I prefer the early seasons of both these shows, but I still enjoy the later seasons. The middle seasons are probably what the general audience seems as the “best” as they kinda struck a balance between the slower paced, more realistic early seasons and the more over the top, faster paced later seasons.

I thought season 9 was awesome
@@Andrew-rg7vc I thought season 8 was awesome. Every episode was tremendous. There were some good episodes in 9 but IMO it just wasn't as strong. But even a weak Curb is better than any other show.
Larry was so confident in season 9, less tortured. He’s back to normal levels in season 10
Fatwa was TRASH
The vanity of these people not wanting to disclose their weight.
Leon in the background while Donna’s piggin out! 😂😂
“No no, I will a little bit”. Susie shoots straight shit. SSSS.
I’m inviting you to hop on and chip in. 😂😂😂 funniest shit I’ve heard in a while
"This is your captain speaking..."
Nice catch!
That really is one of the funniest bits that I've seen of Season 10 (unfortunately, I don't have a TV right now, so haven't been watching "for real" but only clips on RUclips). I love the fact that this one really has a nice slow build and a very very nice setup for the punchline at the end. Really well done!
God I love this show. Even the furniture placement in the living room is perfect to show the toxicity in the room 👍
Huh?
Larry is so essential holy crap
"If you said to me from now on I want to be called Goat Willicker, I would call you Goat Willicker" haha wow what a novel idea, it really is just simple as innit?
3:15 - Leon's expression cracks me up, I can see he's dying to make a fat joke or say something about her eating. Lol
I like that Susie backed Larry up on the resentment 💯
Leon's look @ 02:59 is precious.
I love the relationship between divorced Larry and Cheryl. They're still kind of friends, or at least, friendly, and they actually seem happier apart than they were together. I like seeing a positive portrayal of divorce like that.
You need God
Yeah, positive side of divorce is a fantasy
Divorce is bad for everyone
@@MrSidney9 I'm sure that your ex-wife doesn't feel that way.
@@Jordan22220 Yeah, I'm sure that all those women who can finally leave their abusive husbands agree with you.
I love the honesty “people will resent you” “no they won’t” “I will a little…”
I NEVER liked Cheryl’s character. My husband and I ALWAYS side with Larry!
RiFF LoL She was off-putting. And I agree with Larry most times!
RiFF Yes, I most certainly do. Cheryl’s got nothing on me.
Gavin Date Agreed!
RiFF Thank you. I do happen to be very comfortable in my own skin.
@@PMswe eh debatable. Not rly that hot
You just know that they freestyled the part from Larry saying Captain, to the Willikers do not give their weight. Brilliant.
i appreciate Suzy here "i will a little bit yeah, i mean you're loaded" 🤣
appreciate she didnt go against Larry as usual
So thoughtful of Cheryl to chip-in with the money she took from Larry.
Suzie drives me nuts but got to love her honesty @0:54
Goat Wiliker - LMFAO!
I love Susie being honest and telling her she'd resent her Lmao. I completely agree and know I would resent her as well.
I love the painting above the fireplace is the same from the cardiologist
That means Larry underestimated their weight, which is him being nice, right?
Or he might just be cheap
@@fantasyhero19 it's not a meat market where they charge by the pound
@@fantasyhero19 yeah, there was probably a price per kilo, or something.
kills me when they say, youre already going. We are already paying too.
This channel was created by HBO to appeal to new viewers. That’s why it hasn’t been copyrighted.
It's a good move. I didn't realize how much the show changed. It was way too bland before, so I never watched any more episodes. Now it makes me want to check out this new style; It's a lot more like Arrested Development or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (granted, still not as crazy as either of those)
The answer to a question which no one asked. Interesting.
I guess that could be true. But why are you saying that like it's some ominous truth that would make people stop watching?
@@chochtopf8682 He should have added, "dunt dunt duuuuuunnt!"
"oh no, I will a little bit yeah"
Susie: He is so funny. I mean nobody can make me laugh like Ted.
Larry Daivid is literally 1,000,000 times funnier than Ted Danson ever will be.
Yeah that was weird. If your highest bar is that guy from Cheers and The Good Place, I don't trust your insight
@@lewisfraser4153 You gotta see this in the perspective of the characters. In real life, to deal with a guy like Larry wouldn't be that funny I suppose, and she has a sister-brother relationship with Larry.
The scenes with the festival “weight guesser” are hilarious in this episode too!
Leon saying "I ain't tellin' you shit" takes this scene to another level
"I mean you're loaded" ,so put your effing hand in your pocket ,love it
Larry: "You don't invite a divorced couple to a wedding!"
Two minutes later invites his ex wife to join them on the private jet.
Suzy invited her
"I'd rather.be dead...THAN wet my dead."-Harry Nilsson
Jon S The differences I noticed are
The best way to describe Larry is he tells you it doesn't work that way.
If you have a new relationship with a girl and you tell other girls that you’re friends with, they will of course ask what her name is. When you tell them her name, they will ALWAYS repeat her name back to you.
“What’s her name”
“Donna”
(In unison) “DONNA”
"I mean you're loaded" 😂
Lol I once had to refuse flying someone in my plane because they are too heavy and the plane would be out of balance.
