The argument between Funkhouser and Larry at the dining table about killing the swan is absolutely hilarious. When Larry pulls out the knife and jabs the table with it, I just lose it every single time. 😂😂😂
I love how Susie is telling Larry she would beat the shit out of him with a piece of wood, all the while she's wearing yellow peace symbol earrings. Irony. I love it.
I think Black Swan is my #1 favourite episode, and I've seen them all - when they're lined up in front of the club owner like naughty schoolboys and he's telling them off, absolutely sublime!
Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld are masters of casting. Every actor they bring to the screen is rich with idiosyncratic depth. I give you Larry's father, George's parents, Funkhauser, Larry's cousin, Soup Nazi and of course Newman. Let's not forget Babo, Jackie Childes, Cramer's lawyer, the creepy door man, poppy, the super Jew with the nasty daughter, crazy Joe Volta, the Wiz guy, etc. the list of characters is endless. All perfect for their parts.
I love how at 2:34 waiter is holding the pie, and a couple of seconds later it's back on the table in time for Larry to tell the waiter to take it away again. Whether that was a continuity error or not, it worked great comedically.

The Leon character is the counter point to his own transgressions. They feed off each other. Leon I think is the reason why Larry comes back. I think Larry really loves their back and forth.
Menage a trois? Frankly a menage a deux would be a major achievement for Larry at this stage in his life. Basically any menage greater than une would be welcome .

I love the one where Larry is fighting with the girl to get into the doctors office. The way she zig zags up the hall to keep Larry from passing is hilarious. Look it up, it's not in this video.
The actors who play store clerks, hotel concierges etc that have to fight with LD are always cast so well lol
That's a great observation. You are soooooo right. Same with Seinfeld. All the supporting cast and extras etc. were cast perfectly.
