    Why Sashiko Thread?
The question of "Isn't it uncomfortable to wear something with Sashiko stitching inside"? The answer is, "It is NOT uncomfortable" when we use the appropriate Sashiko thread.
Enjoy a short Sashiko Live Stitching.

Hello Atsushi-san, thank you for your videos. I am interested in the deep Indigo and the Kakishibu thread in your store. I see that you are sold out of the Darkest Indigo how often do you restock it? Also about your studio space, have you considered sharing space with other crafters? I think Pennsylvania is an area that has a rich history in crafting and i would think you could find many people who are seeking studio shares.

      Hello.
We have Dark & Light Indigo dyed thread in stock. We do not know when we may be able to come up with the Darkest Indigo again. They are hand-dyed, and every-time we have slightly different results. The same goes to Kakishibu Dyed Thread, too. We do not carry many skeins in stock.
For the studio, yes, I would be happy to share the space with other craters. However, I couldn't find any in a city where I live in.

Hello! After you wash the sashiko project, when you are trimming the ends, do you trim the loops too, or leave them? And thank you for providing the schedule for English live-streaming!

      Hi Sharron,
I only trim the loops when I have the Kasane at the end of thread. If not, the loops should be cut off. It is my pleasure.

I have heard you say that using chalk to create designs before you start working is almost as important as sashiko stitching itself. Can you talk about using pins to prepare before creating boro? For instance, pin placement?
