02/23/24 - I absolutely loved seeing this video. It brought tears to my eyes because this is what a real home is to me. The music in the background just enhanced the experience even more. Thank you so much for sharing your life and home that you grew up in with us. ❤❤❤
Whow, love your childhood home, Chance. What a great place to grow up, please tell your mama that she has an amazing home and thank her for sharing it with us today.
Your childhood home is awesome. What a rich historical family heritage! You are as handsome as your Dad, and so much well organized and artistically talented as your Mom. You are so much blessed! Thank you for sharing us this great enjoyment. It's huge!
Adam Chance is the traditional down home country boy with a good family upbringing. This is what American Patriots are trying our best to hang on too. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
By the time I graduated high school I had lived in 12 different locations in four different towns. I envy you. You have roots and you know where they are. That's a beautiful home. It's warm it's personal and it's welcoming. It's a fine tribute to your father's hard work. But surely your mother can't be all that isolated all by herself. The pride your parents had in you shows even today.
This is such a gift. I had no home growing up, and I remember being confused when, at yet another new school, I made a friend and I was invited over for lunch on a Saturday. This was awesome because I was always alone and had to fend for myself (I hate sandwiches to this day, and I'm 50 now). My new friend (my only childhood friend, actually - we've managed to stay in touch all these years, through all my moving around - pretty cool!) told me she was born in that house. I didn't understand. It made no sense to me how someone could be living in the same house they were born in 10 years ago - it baffled my poor little noggin. If you're reading this Chance - that home is a gift. It might have been boring sometimes to you maybe while you were growing up, and that's ok. It's incredible to me to see things in a home built by a dad, and a mom who still has your stuff in your bedroom, even though you're grown and gone. Your dad actually paid attention to where you were, enough to have a map to mark it. It's a gift, and a special one, and I really thank you for sharing it so publicly. Give your mama a huge hug, just as a reminder that not all us kids grow up from solid homes. I turned out okay in the end, but it was a long road, and it was because of moms like her that pseudo adopted me that I got an idea of what a family is like when they're not dysfunctional, and what it's like to have someone who cares that you exist. Without mamas like yours, I would have been lost for good. Music saved me. I discovered that I had an incredible ear for music when I was a wee thing, and bluegrass and country became my life. It's always been my sanity, and my guitar goes with me every time I get a chance to get up in the mountains to my cabin, and away. Thanks again for sharing -- this set the mood for my entire day.
Thank you for your story...... all of us who grew up in a home with Mom and Dad are very blessed! I'm really glad that you had someone who cared for you! I care.....God bless...He cares for you too! 💜🙏✝️ from the great state of Texas!
I also TY for your life's story. It's an inspiration to those that don't get a good situation. You made the best of your situation. I am a retired psychiatrist (MD). I did my best with psychotherapy to get some who needed to understand, life situations are never equal. It's one's choices that make a big difference. It isn't easy to come from behind but many have (I also witnessed those who had great life situation throw all the advantages away). Your message embodies this idea of choice and I hope it inspires someone in the future to not follow today's victim mentality; but rather work to make their life better. Because I am a licensed physician, federal law requires me when ever I leave any medical information I tell the reader this information does not make a doctor/patient relationship. I just was impressed by your life's story and wanted it to be clear for someone who needed it reiterated choice matters, even if we don't have total control over everything in our lives.
This is really wonderful Chance. I’m so honored to be able to see the real you! Thanks so very much for sharing your life with people who admire and adore you. Love to both you and Sami…and your sweet wonderful mama! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So, Chance I find it so ironic that growing up in the country on a gorgeous piece of land and a beautiful house, that you are currently living in a small apartment in L.A. All I can think of is the active night life of L.A. and the various attractions in So. Cal. that may be the reason. It is certainly a far cry from the quiet and secluded living that you grew up in. But, your mom's property is terrific and hope it will always remain in your family. Certainly a great place to raise kids. Thanks for the tour and now know you truly are country boy.
That little green John Deere tractor is the bomb I had one to Growing Up in Illinois where John Deere originated.... shout out to your mom ....my homegirl ...my spirit animal ... My Kindred Spirit... Black berries our fav as kids
Thank you Chance... I'm 70 and grew up in North Jacksonville..where the Airport sits today and southern Georgia...the long dirt drives 💚...you make this old woman happy to see your beautiful childhood home... I know this video is from a couple of years ago but never fear.. we're still catching up with you and the other guys... Stay happy and healthy...many prayers young man..💚🙏💚...🌿🌿🌿
Chance so glad you were able to join Home Free. Saw you in peron this year. Home Free was my Birthday Present to myself. Your Mom's pantry looks just like mine. Will come to see all of you when you come close to Lancaster Pa.
I literally said his Mama's house looked like a really country Cracker Barrel before he said it! I absolutely love that place and the deer!!! That's a dream of mine. I really enjoy watching the guys just talk about anything and everything because you get to see more than just their talent. Thanks Chance!
I thought it too... Except for all of hers is real old school stuff... Not recreation like most of the stuff is @ Cracker Barrel... That is amazing... And certainly do look forward to another trip out with Chance!!
Please don't put people's homes down by saying they look like a restaurant people traipsing in and out dirty, smelly, foul odors, Ugh!! Besides, wouldn't it be the the other way around? Southern living like this has been around for a LOT longer than Cracker barrel. So Cracker Barrel looks like this place (not really this place is beautiful! ) To me it seems that Cracker Barrel is just a bunch another big box chain restaurant trying to replicate (poorly i may add) a way of southern living, from the way they live, ( southern hospitality ), southern cooking, decor, asking amusement park prices, and getting taco bell portions of inedible slop.
Chance, you definitely grew up on a piece of Heaven on Earth. Made me tear up when you showed the map your dad started of all the places you toured and that your mom kept up. Its obvious that your parents love you dearly. I LOVE the long dirt driveway and remoteness of your mom's house. Sure can't get that deer experience in the city. Country living is the best.
Adam - this video is magic! I so enjoyed seeing where you grew up. The photos of your parents - your Dad was so handsome (you look just like him) and your Mom is so beautiful! What a wonderful growing-up you had! And seriously - if Sammi can call deer and they come to her - she is something special! I really appreciate you guys in Home Free sharing a bit of your personal history with us. Makes us feel even closer to you!
Chance, your childhood home reminds me a lot of mine, except mine wasn't nearly as large, lol. A mini orchard in the backyard with apple, peach and pear trees, a grapevine, and blueberry and raspberry bushes. And a huge vegetable garden. AND the deer coming up from the lower wooded area in the evenings to eat the dropped and low hanging fruit! We'd sit out on the back deck and watch them. ☺ Country living is the BEST!
Larry thinks he's a deer and Remi thinks he's a cat. I'm your neighbor over in Pensacola! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us! Love your music!
I always appreciate how Home Free invites us into their world. Whether it's a childhood hang out or the best place to find the best food, Home Free just lays out the welcome mat! ❤
I really enjoyed being able to finally learn anecdotes about Adam's chilwood, to see beautiful photos. Adam is a country man, there is no doubt about it ! 😉
I love your mom's place. So much of it is what I want. I don't live down 2 miles of dirt road (but that's awesome!), but I do live on a dead end road and have a National Forest out the back fence. My gardening skills are horrible, but I'm very good at raising livestock. I've also kinda become the seat of the Family Pictures. No one wanted them when Mom died, so they came to me with Dad. So, we've kind plastered my house with all the framed pictures of the family over the years. I like it. Once Dad is gone, I'll be alone, as I'm the only non-married, non-parental sibling, so, it's nice to have some kind of connection to family.
The perspective history brings. Great to see Chance's childhood home and to feel his connection to the land, house, and accoutrements. Nice that Sami also was there with her interaction with the Deer. People are people, so many think that celebrities aren't people too, they are. Have a great long weekend (here, Victoria Day in Canada) all.
I envy your childhood upbringing. .Right miles back a dirt road sounds like heaven to me. Someday it would be nice to meet your momma. She sounds like my mom and grandma. We lived off the land and planted, cooked and canned everything. I love her decorating too. Thanks mom and Chance for giving us a peak into your life..
OMG, that little baby picture and then the handprints just made me tear up, I love seeing stuff like this! I grew up in the country in Kentucky in a place a lot like this and I wish I still lived there too, I miss it so much, there's nothing like life in the country like this.
Thank you ADAM ! This was simply put, AWESOME ! And yes let's see a part 2 so I can see some of Mama Chance's home cookin !!! Just so much good I can't put it all into words. I imagine those trees down gotta be from the hurricanes & tropical storms the last few years. and as always dude # Finzup, # Finz4life !!!
Chance, this was SOOOOO nice, to see a little bit of your personal life. Reminded me a lot of my childhood growing up on that dairy farm. There's just something special about growing up on a large parcel of land where you can roam and explore as a kid. One of my fondest memories is when my brothers, my cousins and our friend would get together and play war. We would basically make up two teams, run around and hide, carrying anything we could find to use as a fake gun and then "fake" shoot each other. Those were the days. Thanks for the video.
I did enjoy your tour, Adam, very much! Your childhood home is beautiful, and I would have loved having so much room to romp and explore! Your mom must be a remarkable lady, and from one Alabama mom to another, I love her style!!! Thank you for sharing with us, and by the way, the deer were fantastic!!!
Beautiful Home and Gorgeous Country! Thanks, Chance for giving us a glimpse of your upbringing! Thanks to you, Sami and your Mom for bring us along for the ride!
What an awesome place to grow up in! Thanks, Chance, for sharing your childhood memories with us. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Who says you can't go home again? With a place like that, I wouldn't want to leave! I'll bet your mama is one of the best cooks on the planet!🙂
I love this video, I live in East Tennessee and our area was devastated September 27th from hurricane Helene, your mom's place looks like some of our local areas, just beautiful
My Gramma was a Wisconsin women of German decent; born a Fuchs and married to a Diehl (the name on old VW blocks). She always said she'd rather feed 49 starving guys than 4 who were gonna chase food around their plate all day. So I feel your Mom. My Mom taught Kindergarten until she retired and saw 2 different classes of thirty in the am and the same in the pm; or 120 5 yr Olds each day for the last 25 yrs she taught. Cool place!
Thank you and your Mom for sharing. That is a beautiful home place. I live in North Alabama and so proud to have been raised country. I Love all you Home Free Guys. Keep the music coming . Love all
To think that Chance lives in an Apartment in LA is mind blowing, considering where he came from. Usually, we come full circle in our lives, so you never know. haha. Thank you for the tour.
I'd LOVE to live like that. What a beautiful location! And the Star Wars stuff is icing on the cake for a huge fan like me. I still have collectibles I got as a kid (yeah, I was around when it premiered in 1977). But I won't say how old I was... Thanks for the wonderful tour.
This was a wonderful tour. Your mom's home is amazing. It's a good thing she has Larry with the deer she feeds. Guineas eat ticks. Thanks for the tour and a look into your childhood. I see you were a Dolphins fan, too. Was that a picture of Dan Marino you had?
I lived in Baldwin county for 28 years in Daphne first then outside of Loxley. Beautiful county with woods, lakes, farmland and beaches. A little something for everyone. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your life and where you grew up. Your Momma's house is beautiful and love her collections. Makes it really cool!
Chance, that house was waaaaay down that dirt road. How'd you ever get to school? What a childhood dream to live like that and what a wonderful thing to have such a loving family to support you. Love your work with Home Free and Hound & Fox group. Thanks!
This is so very awesome! My parent planted a garden and had fruit trees. We just went out and picked thinks and ate them off the plant. Good days and great memories!!
Enjoyed the tour of your mommas house! Brings back many a memory of my grandmother's house! Enjoyed hearing "leaning" that was my grandmother's favorite song to work in the kitchen! Memories!
Thank you so very much for sharing. You are a very lucky man. You grew up in a wonderful place and the fact that you can still go home to it is fabulous. I will be looking forward to your next video until then I am keeping you and your's in my thoughts and prayers please stay safe, take care and God bless!
Chance love when yall give us a peek into your private lives. It makes you guys even more personable. What a wonderful place to grow up. I am so glad I literally stumbled on to home free now im telling g everyone bout you guys. Many a time if my day is going rough I will listen to a song 🎵 or 2 on my break at work to get me through rest of shift😁
He didn’t live to far from where I am . I’m from Semmes,Alabama a little closer to the Mississippi line. Thank you for showing us where you grew up! It’s awesome!! I was a travel nurse and got asked to stay in several different places that I traveled. But I told them I was like Dorothy… there’s no place like home. I can’t see me any other place.
Wow! I love your childhood home. My husband is from Alabama, also... a town called Brantley, south of Montgomery. Tell your mama "Thanks, for letting us see inside.". I love those sweet dogs 😊
I it always so nice to see how all of Home Free lives their lives off the road. I love listening to home free. I have six cd's and I will get all that are out there so far. That was AWESOME!!! Thank you Chance for sharing this with your friends (homefries). Loved seeing your drawings and pictures of you when you were little.
I absolutely adore your voice, you five gentlemen are exquisite together and separately. And thank you so much for allowing us to see you as a person and not just a celebrity. Love seeing the way you grew up must have been a wonderful childhood.

I second the statement above. I was such a pleasure to be brought along.
Love your childhood home and what your Mother has achieved in preserving all the precious memories. ❤️
What an absolute blessing...to have grown up in such a beautiful place, and to have such a cool mom!

Chance I am a little bit country, but, you are a country boy through and through! I thought I would bust a gut when you showed your little tractor.
Thank you……..give mom a hug!
Chance so glad you were able to join Home Free. Saw you in peron this year. Home Free was my Birthday Present to myself. Your Mom's pantry looks just like mine. Will come to see all of you when you come close to Lancaster Pa.
You look like your Dad, Chance. Handsome man who left a wonderful legacy!
Thank you so much lovely fan

I really enjoyed being able to finally learn anecdotes about Adam's chilwood, to see beautiful photos. Adam is a country man, there is no doubt about it ! 😉
yes he is, through & through
I love your mom's place.
Well dang, you really are a country boy. :-)
Looks like a great place to grow up.
What a wonderful place. Your parents have a magical touch. Thank you for sharing a glimpse into you youth. Alabama is beautiful.
Thank you so much lovely fan
The perspective history brings. Great to see Chance's childhood home and to feel his connection to the land, house, and accoutrements. Nice that Sami also was there with her interaction with the Deer. People are people, so many think that celebrities aren't people too, they are. Have a great long weekend (here, Victoria Day in Canada) all.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.
Loved this! I was miraculously saved from my sin in 1996 in Fairhope, AL. It’s a beautiful place to be made alive by Jesus!
Thank you for sharing. I was a country girl until I married a Navy man and got transplanted to California. Makes me remember my childhood . ❤❤❤

I love, love, love this! What a fortunate boy you were growing up in this place! And you are such a successful adult
Thank you for sharing a bit of who you are. 🥰

Thank you so much lovely fan
Chance, I just loved this. What a terrific family and childhood you must have had; you're very lucky.
Enjoyed the tour of your mommas house! Brings back many a memory of my grandmother's house! Enjoyed hearing "leaning" that was my grandmother's favorite song to work in the kitchen! Memories!

Amazing! My family had 116 acres in upstate NY with cattle, pigs and chickens. Good memories! Thanks for the peek into your history Adam.
I it always so nice to see how all of Home Free lives their lives off the road. I love listening to home free. I have six cd's and I will get all that are out there so far. You all compliment each other and each one does individual songs and have your own talents that you bring to Home Free. Can't wait for more online shows. I love this video Chris! 💖🤗😘💖💖💖

I absolutely adore your voice, you five gentlemen are exquisite together and separately. And thank you so much for allowing us to see you as a person and not just a celebrity. Love seeing the way you grew up must have been a wonderful childhood.
Ayyyeee. I grew up in Theodore, Alabama and moved to Grand Bay when I was 15. There is not better place to be than the gulf coast of Alabama.
Good to see you have many parallels with my four sons growing up. Food & family , country living. Nothing any better. Nice place ! My kind of living.
This is outright wonderful, dear Adam! Thanks for sharing! And, as you promised, meet you again there some time 🕊🍀
