Back then rock was like my life but it slowly fade away. It is not a sad story, I just got other interests, changed. But Jesus, those were some good times.
I was 13 when my cousin showed this to me for the first time. I had JUST started learning guitar, and learning the OG zep version. I immediately fell in love with this version and sought after the tabs only to realize it was pretty heavily out of my league haha. 17 Years later, and that much guitar under my belt I still absolutely love listening *and playing* this song. What a masterpiece of a rendition.
This rendition alone is still amazing to this day, but something that really stands out to me apart from the music is the stage set. The way they're lit, and the wine between them. Love the whole performance!
Most of the people that critics this done even play, they are masters in what they do. Im sure if they wanted all that flamenco sound, or all mexican sound or all Jimmy Page's sound they could do it. But thats whats amazing in music. You can make it your own, and its really really hard.
Years later this song still gives me chills! Learning to play it again (hopefully all the way through this time) makes me fall in love with the guitar all again! Epic couple, keep playing till you can't anymore!

I seen this before and I just can't stop saying how low I feel towards them. They are so talented that even I can't reach up to. But they have influence me alot in music as well as the original ,but this just kicks the charts of beautiful latin/mix rock music:D

This is just very intelligent. To do a great cover you have to understand the original and bring something new to it. This does both in spades. I think I read somewhere that this was Page's preferred cover of StH...and if I didn't, I'm not sure he would disagree anyway!
@AkiraX49 well thats the thing, with gifted people like him, they usually dont have to put too much effort in because they're just naturally talented at instruments, I've got a lazy friend who doesn't practise all day and night but is absolutely amazing at all 3 instruments he plays
So the other day, this kid Jimmy comes up to me and says "Hey, maaan, check out this new song!". So I wait a bit apprehensively, as I know this kids into hip hop, and next thing I know I hear Stairway come blastin out of his speakers. Needless to say, Jimmy's no longer with us \m/
Fucking wow!!! I love how he doesnt do the voice note for note. Such imagination to do it the way he does. Very classical but you can still tell where they are in the song. Amazing!
