This week @DesignerHomeTours , interior designer Kristina LoMonaco takes us on a tour of a modern penthouse in NYC with pops of vintage furniture. We'll see how she used neutral colors, vintage furniture, and pops of color to create a serene and stylish space.
Here are some of the key elements of the design:
Neutral colors: The home is decorated in a palette of neutral colors, including beige, white, and cream. These colors create a sense of calm and serenity.
Vintage furniture: The use of vintage furniture adds personality and warmth to the space.
Pops of color: The use of pops of color, such as the green accent wall in the bedroom, helps to break up the neutral palette and add visual interest.
Texture: The use of different textures, such as velvet, linen, and wood, helps to create a sense of depth and richness.
The result is a beautiful and stylish home that is perfect for anyone who wants to create a serene and soothing space.

Incredible, lovely, soothing. Makes me want to have a cozy movie day in all shades of gray. Clean + Vintage for the win! Love mixing modern with the stories behind the old.
It’s soothing
Expert restraint. Excellent client “listening.” A+ Execution. Exemplary professionalism. Ace work.
so many stunning details!! Livable and gorgeous!
The powder room has be drooling!! ❤
I guess I don’t consider a white, grey, and beige interior WARM…all cool shades. Yet I think the apartment is absolutely STUNNING…I can move in any time.
I like the geometric shape design on the drapes, the dark door, and the mirrors in the hall.
What a dream space!
I love it!
For the entire length of this video, all I did was imagine what colors I'd use to paint each room. As is, it would be my worst nightmare. For me, "cozy" is a rich palette of color, a healthy mix of pattern, and layers of books, accessories, and collections.
I was thinking the same thing. This is beautiful, yes, but just lacks personality. The most interesting places are the unique ones that reflect those quirky NYC personalities. This looks like a designer did it. The powder room is really the only room that I am drawn to. Too bad they did not approach the rest of the space with that same fun approach.
This is beautifully done and very chic! But no - white carpets are NOT easily cleaned. And texting with clients at 11:00 p.m. = no boundaries.
Thank you!! We had so much fun collaborating on this! A relationship with a client about their personal space becomes a personalized experience, everyone client is different and we try to always go above and beyond. It's actually one of my favorite parts of the job- the wonderful friendships I get to build with our clients! Trust me there are plenty of other boundaries in place- but when it comes to furniture shopping, well for me anyway, there are no bounds ;) 🤍 I LIVE for it ! 🤍🤍🤍
I do not see it as clean, I see it as DRAB
Boring is the word I would use. Way too austere.
Everytime she said “Master” 😵
Triggered over words lol
@@mrscmeier9570 of course this your your input on my comment lol
Not clean just boring
You need COLOR.
So why’d you steal that man’s dog???
I could that myself, underwhelming.
I'm sorry. This is so boring. I like nuetrals but every home needs a little bit of color or it's dead.
