- Before doing any research I had no idea Pakistan had such beautiful landscape or the amazing Attabad Lake right up north in the Hunza Valley. I had to see it for myself. After suffering from food poisoning it was the right time to treat myself. I managed to score the President Suite at $290 a night and lived the life of luxury…. for a day.
The location has to be one of the best in the world, but as always I keep it real and discuss the potential downsides to over development in the area without a sustainable appraoch. If you’re interested in a real, honest review of Attabad Lake and Luxus Resort I have it for you. Check it out!
After my stay I decide to hitchhike further up north to check out another popular site in North Pakistan, Hussaini Suspension Bridge, hang out with locals and get myself a local Chitral hat in preparation for my ascent up Rakaposhi (next video)

How generous and kind heart and well educated my country fellows from GIlgit Baltistan
The shopkeeper even didn't charge more he said just give me my 1000 not more
How beautiful peoples of my beautiful country Pakistan 🇵🇰 especially from NORTHERN PAKISTAN 🇵🇰
There is no scammers ❤❤❤
Very true!!! ❤️
❤
The mountains and the colour of the lake, seriously out of this world. I've another friend on RUclips that did the bridge with their 3 young kids...a lot more water then, totally wicked eh bro! What an adventure 👍😊
The colour of the lake looks unreal, so magical❤
It's honestly mind blowing!
As a Pakistani American expat, I have to marvel at your decision to go to Pakistan after seeing the pink slip?? Not that I am complaining; I think you chose some 'off the beaten path' approach and kudos for that. A little suggestion: Always pay the locals in Pakistan the full price; I can see you are trying hard to do that but still leave full money with them. They are just too generous for their own good. Finally, those old squat toilets are really horrible. I can't imagine using them when my stomach is messed up. Thanks for the good work.
Thanks for the advice 😊 I try my best to pay full and tip generously. I also don't want to disrespect / offend with not accepting the kind gestures. It's a fine balance thats for sure.
Squat toilets are the Best.
They not just flush out the stomach well but also give strong and flexible legs. A week’s practice will get you going. LOL
squat toilets are actually what is recommended position during bowl movement. they are more modern than most people think just needs a new innovation like some kind of auto washer/cover. but the sitting position would actually make bowl movement easier and its easier on stomach you dont gotta push as hard
Hello Chris......by the way....totally agree with your Lecture. Same thing happened to Saif-Ul-Malook lake in Naran.....Over-crowded, hotels built etc. These commodities should be built a mile away from the beautiful places like these. Nature needs space to nurture.
You are absolutely right. There should be some rules and regulations regarding over exploitation of tourist attractions. Otherwise these places will lose their charm.
Yeah! Would love to help with this some how! Maybe this can be my next job 🤞
@@ChrisDismissed was thinkin the same :)

You should...
Pakistan is an amazing country, Indian trolls must be very upset. They at every forum spread negativity, but great to see foreign travellers visiting Pak in huge numbers again, even though, they are faced with alot of anti Pakistan propaganda by Indian funded trolls. Tourism has started to boom in Pak, and great for the country.
Man Pakistan has some load of hidden gems. I am planning on a trip next year to Hunza.
Your reaction was epic 😅❤
By the way Pakistan is most underrated country in the world due to geopolitics
The younger shop keeper almost ruined it with exaggerated negative marketing . Its wise to be quiet instead of talking rubbish .
Jali na gandoo Taliban ka nam leya tu
This place looks stunning! Added to my bucket list of places to visit
Miss you Pakistan love from Germany ❤❤❤❤
This is Pakistan beautiful ❤❤❤
The reason why Lexus is so expensive, actually Hunzai people do not sell their land outside the community. So, the Lexus owner (outsider) might have paid at least 7-8 greater than its actual land price to lure the land owner.
Actually there was a village which was flooded by heavy rains and thus Attabad lake came into existence. Also lot of people died in those floods & those who survived migrated to other nearby towns or villages and some saw this as an opportunity & opened resorts or other businesses.
❤
Love you our guest , family member from Islambad city of northern Pakistan 🏔️😊❤
My palms would have evaporated crossing that bridge!!
😂
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 I hope you enjoy a lot and please 🙏 give the positive and real image of Pakistan 🇵🇰
Worth it, unreal
Close to nature
Just imagine I am sitting on the balcony have a cup of tea in my hands and just watch blue lake and majestic mountains ❤️ how beautiful is that feelings in my self ❤️
The cap is not famous from taliban, These are culture thing and Paktoon and Pathan tribes wear these before when Taliban was not exist, and most of the talibans are Paktoon and Pathan tribes.
Keep enjoying pakistan and i hope you are safe where ever you travel thank you for showing the world my beautiful country pakistan
lots of love
Hey chris, great that you're able to visit beautiful northern Pakistan, i am an expat been living in Australia for over 20 years, that goat that you saw on your pillows is the national animal of pakistan, it's endangered and it's called Markhor, hope you enjoy the rest of your trip up north and rest of Pakistan, i am envious of you as i was born and raised in Pakistan but never got to visit north but i am happy for ya:)
Its not Markhor.....Its actually a Reindeer.
The goat in toilet was Markhor. Pillow goat was Reindeer
What does expat means? Overseas pakistani here from the Dutch side 😂
Thanks for showing the real beauty of Pakistan 💓
Man that bridge was crowded and the fact only locals were allow to go across is totally different from a bunch of videos I've seen there granted they were over a year old. lol
well I try to show the reality
Thank you Chris for visiting Pakistan and captured the beautiful landscapes
Your reactions are so genuine. I am a aslo a tech person and I am loving your vlogs. Enjoye your stay here in Pakistan.
Thank you! Welcome. I hope you enjoy the videos
Attabad lake water is the most blue color ever I had seen and surprisingly this lake is example of opportunity out of natural disaster. Loved it there luxurious resorts are to stay and attract good potential of tourism.
Awesome Vlog! .. my fav part of course other than the beauty of the place was that moment where you checked out your linked-in and realized the blessing of being let go by the Tech Giant.. this very opportunity to explore the nature and beauty is priceless!!
Loving the vlogs!! keep up the great work.
- American Sardarji ( Sikh )
great video, never seen the attabad lake before -- stunning .. enjoy rest of your trip mate !
I totally agree with you Chris on your observations regarding undue construction
Mr Chris thanks for coming to Pakistan showing beauty of Pakistan love you from sialkot Pakistan🇵🇰
Great video Chris! Attabad lake is truly stunning. The boys on the motorbikes were asking you how you got to to the lake not how you'll get to Gulmit. To address a few other points, tourists aren't allowed to go across that particular bridge because os safety concerns. Furthermore the shop owner should not have spoken about negative marketing. This beautiful hat has been worn for many many years and it's sad that it's now being equated to and is being sold as a symbol of the Taliban.
Great Vlog ❤❤
I would love to see you in a Pakistani restaurant in Sydney wearing that hat. (Student biryani or Karachi biryani)
mate lets do it!!
Great Vlog dude particularly the hike challenger on the bike 👍
One of the best videos of
atta abad lake
In every chaos, there's a cosmos. In every disorder, a secret order!
Stunned to see how can a disaster make an incredible marvel like Attabad lake.
$1000 Worth Scenery bro.
Looking at your excitement, being a Pakistani, I will surely visit these areas now :D, this is beautiful, just imagining the promise our creator has made after life we will be in the most beautiful places called heaven/Jannah, ameen!
Have a smooth and safe travel Chris!
I totally agreed and appriciated your suggestions...👍👍👍
today you seems to be most happy and speaking your heart. May Allah bless you more bro.
That's amazing welcome to my village I hope if I was there I would love to give you a room in my resort with a view to attabad lake 😅 I hope you enjoyed and thanks for showing our beautiful attabad lake
pictures and videos can never do justice to the real beauty and magnificence and mightiness of this place. mashaAllah! ❤
Man, I really wish I was there on my bike and give you unlimited lift experience, and really enjoy the ride till the Khunjerab Pass! But, cool vlog mate, I enjoyed it!
You Are welcome 🤗 bro 🎉 Thanks for visiting Pakistan 🇵🇰❤️
Wow❤ beautiful Pakistan ❤ good work bro❤
Thanks bro for showing real beauty of pakistan 💗
absolutely insane view. The Blue of that lake looks so unreal. unbelievable nature. All praise to the Creator
Great video! Love from Islamabad ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!! I loved my time in Islamabad. It's a beautiful city you live. The Faisal Mosque was a highlight ❤️
$200/night is very awesome deal, Marriot in the city will cost around $200. Jet skies and new constructions are really eye sore, which kills the beauty of this pristine scenery. Hopefully someone would take a notice of this destruction.
Love watching your vedios
Amazing 😍
Thank you Chris love from Pakistan
Best view ever.

Nice places, nice people, nice food.
Big fan from Pakistan
Ma Sha Allah ❤
Very beautiful 😍
Is that shop on the otherside of that Bridge or is it where you started from ? I'm going in 2 weeks so will pay them a visit
It's on the side you start from. They're built it up quite a bit with a fair few shops there now. Hope you get a quieter day and enjoy it 😊
Very good ❤
Welcome in northern Area of Pakistan
The hotels are expensive near attabad lake because there are not to many build there. The owners know tourists don't have any other options that's why they are expensive but as more tourism comes in the country more hotels will be built there. Pakistan has so much potential to lead global tourism industry just infrastructure is not there. I hope government will focus on tourism providing more facilities to foreign tourists. Enjoy your journey. Thanks for showing the world what media don't show them.
Beautiful , mind blowing very very nice and beautiful lake i wish i could see this by my real eyes , your camera can not show real pic
haha it's as real as it get... not great quality from my camera, but it's real mate
The animal drawn in hotel room is called Markhor ki Pakistan and Markhor is the national animal of Pakistan. Btw the view is just so so so amazing
Exotic view from the room
Love you from Sindh Pakistan 🇵🇰
For the mountains
Very nice ❤.
What a crazy vlog i mean hunza is so beautiful 🤌🏻😭❤️
well your marketing things is very true in Pakistan, one of the biggest example of that happens in Murree near Islamabad they over develop it so much that it lost all it's beauty that place now look like a big city like Lahore, because it's near capital so it receiver a ton of tourists, they develop so much that you don't feel you are on a mountain any more and the same feeling like a big city. that's why that destination is not on my list anymore if i ever wish to go somewhere for outings, i mean what's the point that you travel so much to have the same vibes of the city i live in anyways poor people who only increase population and stuck in cycle of survival for generations
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰❤
Wellcome to pakistan janii❤
Welcome to Pakistan ❤❤
Enjoy Chris
The Shop Keeper with Large Beard looks innocent and nice ☺️
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Big respect love you karachi Pakistan ❤
