When I first saw tofu in the Re2 remake I thought it was one off the many fan mods like some mods that replaces Mr. X with Big Smoke or Thomas the tank engine, but now I’m happy to know it was a joke, but by Capcom themselves. Even funnier than having a Solid Snake or Raysen in a bonus skateboarding game in MGS2.
They could have made stinky tofu a ‘training mode’ of sorts where you can get a good sense of your path , the zombies don’t attack or just straight up leave because your so stinky!
Tofu is such a fun reward for the player to unlock. I wish more games would have more fun with game completion rewards. Also Keep up the great work and stay safe Kai!

And, just by hearing you use this familiar OST at 2:48 as you show that Japan also sells Tofu with Jill’s berry and knife, I was quick to learn without looking it up, that it is the Home OST from Gran Turismo 3 as nostalgia began to flow. Any chances you do play racing games besides Resident Evil and other horror based games? Would be a rollercoaster of nostalgia for the fellow racers to see you play Gran Turismo 3!
