- Arctic Trucks Ford Super Duty F-350 review by The Straight Pipes. The Arctic Trucks Ford F350 is putting down 475 horsepower and 1050 lb-ft of torque from a 6.7L Turbo Diesel V8. At $70,000 USD for the conversion alone, would you take it over a Ford Raptor lol?
Big thanks to Arctic Trucks for providing the F350 Super Duty to review. Check them out and give them a follow at arctictrucks.com/

Who wants to buy my Raptor now? I’m embarrassed to drive such a small truck
Buy a maverick
This truck was worth the effort!! So cool to see it reviewed in your guys style. Hope you guys get a chance to take one through some deep snow
Gotta somehow get a custom (anylevel ) super long travel on command suspension lift for the gen 1 raptor. But it has to have over 28-36 inches of initial lift / drop for the Raptor.
Go sell it on Cars & Bids
Stop being facetious immediately bud. Love you by the way thanks for making this happen. Our straight pipe fearless leader love ya ps your outstanding
This looks like the perfect truck to park at the mall
Bro it doesn't fit in a parking garage. Not even close!!
If it fits in a regular parking space it’s not big enough
You mean park on top of the mall
Park inside the mall, like the show cars that eventually are displayed there
boy these commenters dont know a joke when they see one. lol Everyone is so literal and sensitive
This would look great at a Costco parking lot! 🔥😤
Imagine all the paper bundles you could hall with that thing.
or even better at the starbucks drive thru

I live in Yellowknife NWT Canada and our ford dealer recently became a certified arctic trucks dealer, really cool stuff!
I go to Iceland about once or twice a year and the Arctic Truck builds there are just out of this world. The best part is, you can actually see them being used for what they're meant for.
going to the mall?
Use me as the “convert Jakub’s Raptor to an Arctic Truck” button 👇
Reporting for duty 🫡
That would be BALLER
Need attention much?
@@804_Rider I’m the guy with glasses from the video
Nah.
I think Yuri and Jakub need to visit the Arctic Truck HQ and see how the conversions are built.
Finally a decent truck to tailgate smaller cars at the highway, while I leave my high beams on, so they know for sure I'm there
An Arctic Truck conversion on a Suzuki Jimny would be hilarious.
Except we don't get the Jimny (or any Suzuki model for that matter) because of the United States' stupid road regulations.
Google lifted jimny iceland. We lift then Regularly on 35+ tires
@@snakeeyes9246Arctic trucks is Icelandic by the way
@snakeeyes9246 it's actually lobying from Chrysler/Jeep. This is why I hate Jeeps.
Arctic Trucks does some amazing stuff. Lucky for you toe get to review one.
I love that Arctic Trucks being utilitarian conversions, they are not developed or built for show, but to be a tool in offroad and arctic driving conditions.
It's my dream ice fishing rig! I've known of this company for a of couple years and it's super cool you guys got one for a video. 😎
Sincerity and humility make your channel a true gem. Keep shining.
during winter i work up in nunavut, yukon, nwt depending on where im needed and multiple of the mines and oil sites i work at have ordered these, i think they are going to be used mainly by the on road mechanics as service and recovery trucks. im excited to see some in person next year when im back up north
I can confirm that here in Norway it is a lot of Arctic Trucks conversions. Most Toyota Land Cruiser and Hilux. But with American trucks, theese conversion are way more insane! Great review as always.
The Artic Special has always been my favorite too. It is amazing that they were able to make it.
Every guy jacking up his truck to "compensate" for something is crying a tear right now.
I’ve been looking for something like this for my daily driver. I want something that commands respect. Thanks for the review.
Our pleasure!
Amazing!! This was so cool guys, thank for the very cool, definitely original content!!!
"are you in your lane?"
"Don't know. Doesn't matter..."
Lol, great review guys. Love it!
They should talk to Counteract Balancing Beads for tire balancing. Counteract doesn't use rim weights, instead they put a precise amount of beads in the tire. It's pretty neat. They've done a monster truck that was going for a top speed record but most of their business is tractor trailer tires.
I want to drive this truck through a McDonalds drive-thru.
I want to drive this truck through a McDonalds
Nah bros, i think the game here is to drive over the mcdonalds
Would not be that hard.
Perfect for Montreal streets !
THAT INTRO SONG IS MY FAVORITE!! "EXISTENCE IS A PARKWAY" IS A CLASSIC!
Thank you for all your hard work
I've lived in Kalispell, MT all my life, and I've never seen one ever.
Sweet review as always!
"New to North America" is a key phrase here. Not too many of them running around yet I'm sure.
Great to see a flat deck on the rear. That should be the standard for every truck. Its so much more practical. If you need a big box or rear cargo bed, just strap one too the flat deck!
This would be exceptional for my lake home up north!
This! Now all I need is that perfect all weather cabover camper!
Already done! Total Composites habitats made it twice into the high arctic on the back of Arctic Trucks 6x6 trucks!
Here in the UK one manufacturer Isuzu actually sells a factory Arctic Truck AT-35 which you can buy from the dealer for £50k
In iceland you could buy the new defender from the Land Rover dealer with an AT-35 kit (so warranty is still valid). Would have been awesome if they also did that in the UK
The F250/F350 is available from the Ford factory with 35 inch tires. The standard tire is a 33 inch, but the Tremor package ($4,375) gives you 35s, a small lift and a front LSD.
Very cool, guys. I went to Iceland in 2002 and Arctic Trucks were everywhere- most popular seemed to be based on a Ford Excursion. I’m sure you can imagine the size of those…
Perfect highway cruiser, great for the commute to the office.
Next Swamp Trucks, because Florida is a real place!
Yesss.
That Top Gear Episode was Epic. I'm sure that show had a lot of impact on you guys to become what you do today.
Definitely
The perfect theme music every time
I love that Jakub absolutely salivates to anything v8 🤣
Love me some V8’s
wow yea ive got the same raptor as you do but mine is dark shadow grey.... damn i need to upgrade!!!! that is alot of truck!!!!
love the channel guys! im gunna have to check out their website too!!!
As someone who works for arctic trucks, its kinda fun to see what they build in other parts of the world
That Tacoma tho
Actually it was Clarkson and May that took dumps off the back in the race to the North Pole. Then May drove the support truck for the Volcano. Whatever it is, it is nice to see that Arctic trucks do other trucks as well.
My friend's dad has a ram 2500 prospectors edition and its basically the same deal. It's crazy how it dwarfs other trucks.
That’s awesome! They’re using a couple of those currently on the transglobal expedition. Though they’ve switched to some Russian custom trucks to get up to the geographic North Pole.
You should've driven this around Home Depot and similar locations and gotten regular truck owner reactions
I'd really like to see one of these go swamping- like take one to exploring North Queensland during the wet season, or the mangrove flats around Gulf of Carpentaria
Appreciate the pshopped every 80's & 90's kid who got his picture taken in front of a monster truck after sitting in the 90degree F sun for7 hours.
Yes, here in Norway Arctic Trucks is almost the only ones to modify trucks and keeps them road legal. For example; if i want bigger tyres on my truck and still be road legal i can only change the rolling circumference with +- 5% from original wheels, that equals to around 30-31´´ tyres on Hiluxes, D-maxes, Amaroks and so on. Arctic trucks can fit on 37´´and still be road legal.
People also buys a lot of equipment from AT, like winches, wind deflectors, wheels, hitches, lockers, lift kits etc, parts from AT are TUV approved and therefor road legal.
Every two years all cars need to be checked and approved to keep being registered, therefor it´s important for many that the modifications are road legal.
You can get factory 35s on the short bed F250/F350 (long wheel base are only available with 33s and the F450 gets 32s). F150 Raptor is available with up to 37s from the factory.
The Arctic Cat jacket is 🔥🔥
I think you missed addressing the most important question, cold weather starting and if there are any adaptations for dealing with temps of -50 and beyond.
Looove it! 💯
Straight away from their name and build I was thinking "Huh.. kinda like Top Gear's Polar Hilux" and it was them who'd built it!! Super cool!
P.S. Great Dom Vito insert
These style vehicles look awesome. Thanks for sharing this.
So many people putting 6 in lifts on their trucks to go to the mall. I have a 100 acres in the mountains and get by on 2.5" lift and 35" tires. I'd love to upgrade to one of these
This truck will be perfect for going to the gym and grocery store!
I'd love to take this on the Dempster Highway
Very special vehicle! Would love to see you guys review Knight XV one day.
Wow
i definitely need this to drive around in the concrete jungle
Clarkson and May were the dump truckers, Hammond was stuck with the dogs, trying to reach the pole by sled
Mind blowing
So how much fuel did it consume on the trip from Wyoming?
Can't wait to see them soccermoms on suburbs driving this thing to take their kids to school and pickup groceries at their nearest Walmart.
Have you seen the trucks from elevation off grid? Similar price including hydraulic suspension
Arctic.. will you convert my 2019 Nissan NV v8?
Was the bumper made in house or can that be bought by itself?
Did you buy a Sterrato to match the prowler?
There's a Nissan Ariya on 39 converted by Artic Trucks that is doing a pole to pole expedition. Look it up, it's pretty wild !
Nice huracan sterrato @11:47
Finally you started using normal units so 95% of your viewers can understand you, thank you!
As I type this the Transglobal Car Expedition is less than 390 km. from the North Pole using one or more of these Ford trucks. The party of 8 explorers includes Canadian Andrew Comrie-Picard.
alright, now I need an arctic trucks SSR
It's too small..
Would have been even cooler if they would have reviewed one of the ones that has the full size pickup bed on the back
arctic trucks just built a new assembly plant here in Cheyenne
you guys got any plans to do more build series kinda like the mustang and prowler? I loved those!
Jakub does a bunch of build stuff on his personal channel ItsReallyJakub
huh... as a Norwegian I've seen a lot of Arctic Trucks, but generally it's all been Toyotas, but seeing that US cars are also popular here, I'm surprised I've not seen a Ford F-series Arctic Truck yet.
It's hilarious sometimes though who you can see getting an Arctic Truck, like a local guy building stuff like S13s and such showing up at car shows, last time I saw him now, he was at the show with a big Toyota Arctic Truck overlander. :P
That Artic Truck Big foot tribute would be so sick to see
Just looking at the water truck, and I have no idea what 29.5 x 25 means. It's big and yellow like the Brodozer
Here in iceland, this vehicle is so common people go to the mall with it sometimes.
And we are so crazy that search and rescue here in iceland 54" on a ford something.
Then are some normal people like me who put 58" tractor tires on a dodge ram or a 6x6 44" nokian tires like in the video for fun.
Also beadlocks are very useless unless the tire is know to dissingage from the rims
Love thee trucks so much.... sometimes it seems like they aren't real, and some people wont believe you if you show them
Haha. See these everyday here in Iceland our reaction is “oh that’s neat” 😂
There are even more companies in Iceland that make even crazyer vehicles on 58 inch tires
Like to see this done to a second gen tundra 🔥
Fun fact. I saw three thumbnails for this video. I know that's for testing, to see which converts better. The first time I saw this video, I knew I was going to watch it. Three thumbs later I click. Point for this thumbnail - but irrelevant test data IMHO. I was going to click anyway!
Annoying that it's now a thing for channels to continually change their video thumbnails.
Forget supercars... I want this truck now 😭
When are we having a collab with throttle house? Watch both in a daily basis and always wondered
what would happen if someone ran over your foot but the tires were at 1 psi? 🤔
Yep, I live in Norway and you can go to your local Toyota dealer and buy an arctic truck "from the factory"
Guy, would love to see you guys take this truck to northern territories (Artic). Cheers!!
Can confirm that Artic Trucks are pretty common here in Norway :) Not super common, but definitely not rare. You can actually get Hilux's and Land Cruiser's here in Norway with Artic Truck spec from factory.
isuzu offers artic truck kits from factory too.
@@amiman.yesiam.8791 You are totally right! The reason I picked Toyota as my example is that these are the most common here in Norway :)
@@Coolcowvalley true, but I also see alot of dmaxsup north too
They are also avalible in Iceland along with a few other brands from factory. For example the new defender was available with the AT-35 kit from factory, although the Toyota’s are the most common :)
Canada: Artic Truck is massive!
Texas: My neighborhood has about six of these. Merica.
I'm not a big fan of the tire inflation system being connected on the outside like that. It's ok in the wide, open, frozen tundra. But if you near anything that the hoses can get caught, you can use them. Yeah I know that's what it's designed for but I still think they could have done it better like the hummer or the other military vehicles that use that system.
I actually thought the thumbnail was a montage but it's the actual picture 😮
did you get that off of Craigslist ?
I haven’t seen you guys long time. Welcome back for you or me…
We’re still here. Welcome back
Will not be surprised to see the Rock with this vehicle in Fast and Furious!
Considering what this conversion truck is capable of doing the price is not bad at all.
Hey Jacob. I think I saw you, your wife and kid in the hospital recently. I couldn’t remember where have I seen you. Now I know. Hope the little one is doing better now.
James May & Jeremy Clarkson needs to take this truck on an update of their North Pole Top Gear Special.
can you guys do f30 340i next?
That truck was in alberta recently and a guy from a toyota offroad custom shop in Calgary drove it to yellowknife!
Correct. That was right after we had it
When they introduced themselves I heard “I’m Jacob, im nihh we’re going to the arctic “😂
Uh...huh...and we only see them driving on asphalt. Great demonstration. Why, no other vehicle could ever do that. Great step up from the Raptor for mall crawling...I'll be everyone was so impressed...
