Would've been cool to see more of their interiors
That Rusak 39941 k-8 was really cool looking. The design is pretty much on par with just a giant SUV you see going through your neighborhoods driven by soccer moms. Just much larger and with 8 wheels. Very unique indeed. Russian were always weird looking to me ,but they do design great off-road utility vehicles, the MAZ 537 being one of my favorites.
Cold, colder, coldest, the Lord is just cool :)
We love huge vehicles that are able to go through any terrain... especially if you are looking for someone... perfect vehicles... thank you for sharing your video with us...
I think Russia is at the top of the food chain when it comes to big brawny snow and tundra crossing equipment.
They make most the largest vehicles. With the ever more severe winters wide-spread nationally, where I reside, I have been building my vehicle to be more ice, deep snow, cold, strong wind, downed tree, flood, and mud capable. Ever since temperatures started staying colder and staying longer, about 10 years ago, I have been slowly building on to my vehicle. Today, there is only about half of the original vehicle left. But, if I can get one of the vehicles in the video, I can stop building mine.
The problem for me is that I don’t want one of them I want them all
The kamaz looks so badass🤘
the arctic snow cruiser developers would be proud 👌
please, it’d be great, especially when quoting Diesel specs, to include torque numbers. To paraphrase the old adage, yes, horsepower sells cars, but torque wins races.
We'll make sure to! You're right; torque is generally what matters for massive machines that rely on power over speed. With diesel engines, you're sure to notice the difference between the horsepower figures and the torque numbers.
Cool video I really wish you could have included the ridiculous asking prices of these vehicles that would have been interesting for us to see
Arctic trucks have the biggest, chunkiest tires therefore they're the best trucks
Thicc wheels
Thanks mate!
they don't have the biggest tires tho
Ahem, C H O N K
Russian trucks designed to go to town for a beer no matter how nasty the weather.
It's hard to stop a tire that's as tall as you are!
Except that Russians don’t drink beer…they drink antifreeze…..sorry vodka….beer is western decadence
I think they only drink wodka.
Ah yes. How could I forget the tire pillows, special bolt, and the irresistible something? Lmao. Cool trucks though.
Special bolt 😂😂
Yup 👍 I hear the irresistible part and 😂
When a major chunk of your territory is SIBERIA you need some extreme snow vehicles!
About the Burlak... "It is pushed by a tire tread as well as by a special bolt.". What the hell does that even mean? Are you just reading the poorly translated spec sheet?
It’s like he’s reading a language he’s not familiar with.
A special bolt?
Maybe a screw, as in propeller for use when afloat?
Also said its irresistible 😆
I don't know about you, but I can never resist a special bolt... them things are just irresistible, right?
@@robertdean6084 i see the thread you are using too pull in your reader !!!
wonderful vehicles !
There's no doubt that the Russians have crack it , their vehicles are superb ....
Fantastic machines. Great!!!👍👍👍
Ghee Rescue is real deal, looks an ideal vehicle for some developing countries. With 11 passengers on board that great.
This incredible artic truck is wonderfull forever
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Amazing trucks
Amazing what we can build👍👍
Should carry the inflatable modules air pump and compressor.
Not enough info on the vehicles. How big are they.....what’s the inside like???
cant have been that good we would of seen these on top gear
Awesome
2:55 Trivia, in Indonesian Language, "Rusak" means broken down.
Wokwokwok rusak
Incredible video.
Thank you very much!
Does the Kamaz come with a Recreational Vehicle type setup?
Kamaz make some amazing trucks
Okay i need one. Send one over to the us for mee
Can't wait until we start similar sized vehicle in the middle of cities in the US :p
How much fuel do you need if you idle for 60 days in wears whether possible waiting on rescue?
since 60s Russians have achieved greatly producing machines that made it easier to challenge the harsh terrain and winter conditions of Siberia
0:26 who else played snow runner and Immediately thought about the azov
For everyone that enjoyed this check out Canadian nodwell and foremost commanders, these guys have been around 70+ yrs and can carry 40T
Incredibly interesting.
9min of video showing 7 Arctic vehicles, with a grand total of 3 sec's of video showing the insides of any of them.
Those look all so much like the Sherp models you should check out Rip Saw wish I had the link to share . Thank you for this share they all would be cool too have.
Do they measure use in mpg or gpm?
i need 1 of these to daily drive the hell out of
great!
WOW!
I’ll take one of each please 💪🏾
Love a luxury car, how much does it cost you?
Have one of these amazing vehicles toilet on board?
Wouuld be an interesting video. But WHY THE HELL do you have that stupid "BACKGROUND" music on all the time? It drives me nuts!
Land Rovers eat yeah heart out !!!
I’d take any one of them.
Actual engine sounds are probably for paying customers. Cool music, though.
Williams field, known to locals as skiway has been key to opening up Antarctica for start of season after closing for winter over . Season to open up was win-fly Winterover fkyin.
we need a bunch of these in texas
You have your silly windmills.
Where my fellow snowrunner fans at
Azov antarctic my friend
You might recognise the Kamaz Arctica as the Azov Antarctic from Snowrunner
Очень понравился лимузин от Катерпиллер.
Some vehicles must be stored in the inflatable garages.
WORLD "You should really build roads"
RUSSIA "You have no idea how big our country is..."
WORLD "Build long roads then..."
RUSSIA "We will just build massive off-roaders - problem solved".
❤okey ❤🙏🙏🙏بسیار عالی است خسته نباشید خدا قوت ❤🙏🙏🙏
Cool
The snow vehicles from Russia look like they could be used in a sci-fi movie with some minor changes.
i have 0 interest in going to either of the artics or anywhere cold for that matter, but i still want one of those!
I want the rescue vehicle as my personal 4x4.
Damn, should’ve used one of these instead of the Arctic cruiser we took to Antarctica that we ended up leaving behind to b lost forever. Lol
It's a shame NONE of them have an interior.
MT tracked Challenger ?
That Kress was a laughing stock when it was new. The tire tread had to be shaved down because the clearance was that tight to the fenders.
It developed massive cracks in the body the first year. It was welded on outside in -0°F- temperatures.
The had to relocate a power pole and lines in town so it could maneuver.
Pretty sure the onboard generators had a exhaust venting concern. Something like the exhaust would blow into the fresh air vents of the pax cab.
And it's not comfortable at all.
The Fact That Most of These Are Russian
Using tires in arctic snow conditions is such a bad idea. Have they learned nothing from the past? Tracks are the way to go.
The last machine: What is the DoD doing in Antarctica where it needs a 59-passenger custom artic cat for incoming/outgoing DoD personnel and contractors?
Huh...wondering why you didn't include me on my 24 speed road bicycle. With my go fast helmet and big boy bicycling gloves on I have pedalled my bike through snow deeper than 6ft. I even plow for the State in the Winter, I have to refill my backpack sander a few more times than the newest special built trucks but 10 tons of sand per backpack load covers +/- 50 miles so it usually takes me half hour to cover that distance
Tough vehicles
That guys voice coupled with the terrible music meant I lasted less than two minutes.
Saying: "The living unit is fitted with...", showing - platform truck.
Watches like a list of snowrunner mods
watching this after watching how dumb they were to put smooth tires on the artic cruiser.
Snowrunner moment
why tires instead chain tracks?
Why haven't anyone mod these into Snowrunner?
This explains why the simple sherp outperforms all of those oversized monsters
these are also meant to carry stuff
Your sherp is just a useless recreational toy for rich guys who pretend that they are tough when they get out to the nearest muddy road on a weekend. These machines are made to make the job.
Nice vid dingo
my vids r bedder
I helped build the Kress hauler
That's great! What parts did you work on? We love to hear from the people involved with these machines :)
I was a machinist there actually manufacturing parts in house for 5 years and also was the guy doing all the portable line boring on the weldments. They called that the " Raytheon project ". At the time I had only done a few small parts for that in particular, the rod ends for the hydraulic steering and the spindles the wheels mounted to on the trailer. I have some great pics of the project being tested in a field behind the plant tho
@@tyevans4646 That's awesome! Love to hear it
That is awesome! I have driven the Kress hauler. Great work! (other than white needles on a white background gas gauge that gets read in the bright snow :p). Its a fun machine to drive down there.
Rip snow cruiser
👍
Do any of these Russian vehicles carry food and supplies into Oymyakon?
Living unit?
Kress is a modern-day LeTourneau.
Great video, very interesting. But you mention "crab mode" for one of them and don't show it? Oh for shame.....
Lord help me get more 💰 l want one of em, 😁😁😁😂😀
We know the feeling, we'd love to have some of these ourselves 😁
Prove to me these are more than one-off playthings of the Russian Oligarchy
No Letourneau Overland train?
Can't show everything, sorry! We might put that in a future video, though, so thank you for the comment! :)
The full electric rigs also drag a sled with a diesel generator for a recharge. Skip that note when you sell it. Where did the batteries and metal come from to make the whole works?
Who put a snowrunner truck in the real world? XD
I read once that the reason Russian trucks are so good at off-road is because it's simply easier and cheaper to design and build them for that purpose rather than to build roads all over Russia.
Hence why they're so good at it.
Roads are ways to impose. Petrol and tar on Land, in water, energy addicts? Only? Our agreement for confort hides so many side effects... As money, or vaccines, the whole truth is never told when you buy your first candy.
nonsense. in the tundra, on permafrost, it is economically impractical to build roads. there are no permanent settlements there. only nomadic tribes and oil workers live there, who live on watch for a short time
Some of those truck are in snowrunner
Really The Russian are very intelligent 🧠... fm Karachipakistan
Article truck are truck when I became a Alaskan trucker with kamez
Such capable vehicles deserve an equally capable narration. Which is not found here. How about taking the time to be professional.
What...
No tyre sizes?
Not complete!
No Sherp?
