    That Rusak 39941 k-8 was really cool looking. The design is pretty much on par with just a giant SUV you see going through your neighborhoods driven by soccer moms. Just much larger and with 8 wheels. Very unique indeed. Russian were always weird looking to me ,but they do design great off-road utility vehicles, the MAZ 537 being one of my favorites.

      @indridcold8433 10 месяцев назад +4

      They make most the largest vehicles. With the ever more severe winters wide-spread nationally, where I reside, I have been building my vehicle to be more ice, deep snow, cold, strong wind, downed tree, flood, and mud capable. Ever since temperatures started staying colder and staying longer, about 10 years ago, I have been slowly building on to my vehicle. Today, there is only about half of the original vehicle left. But, if I can get one of the vehicles in the video, I can stop building mine.

    please, it’d be great, especially when quoting Diesel specs, to include torque numbers. To paraphrase the old adage, yes, horsepower sells cars, but torque wins races.

    • @LordGizmo
      @LordGizmo  3 года назад +9

      We'll make sure to! You're right; torque is generally what matters for massive machines that rely on power over speed. With diesel engines, you're sure to notice the difference between the horsepower figures and the torque numbers.

    That Kress was a laughing stock when it was new. The tire tread had to be shaved down because the clearance was that tight to the fenders.
    It developed massive cracks in the body the first year. It was welded on outside in -0°F- temperatures.
    The had to relocate a power pole and lines in town so it could maneuver.
    Pretty sure the onboard generators had a exhaust venting concern. Something like the exhaust would blow into the fresh air vents of the pax cab.
    And it's not comfortable at all.
