@@paulfain8553 Part of why no one got offended was because, in fact, Harry didn't actually hate anyone; as long as you were competent and did your job he was okay with you no matter what you were. Watch the target-shooting scene in Magnum Force. Even at the end of this scene Chico can tell he's not actually malicious, and Harry realizes after he quits that he was a good partner. It's the same with both his black partner in MF and Kate Moore in The Enforcer, whose murder you could tell legit cut him.

Dirty Harry - an archetypal loner hero trying to defend San Francisco.
Ironic the same disease which infected Hollywood and rendered them incapable of making such mythical movies and characters today is the same plague which destroyed San Francisco.

Arnold and Chuck were in his ballpark back in the day. The problem is that we can't have any good movies since roughly the year 2000 or 2005, something in that time range. "The Matrix" was good, then it's all suck.

The bus driver, and children terrorized by the killer with a limp was a incredible scene of talent. The fear inflicted on the bus driver, and children looked brutally real. The killer balanced to direct the bus driver which direction to go, and at the same time screamed at the children to sing "row row your boat".
