When I was in Florida, I walked my dog to a park. While I was there, these two small children came over to pet my dog. The little girl sat down with me and said, “Do you see that man over there? He’s my dad. Do you see that other man? He’s my other dad!” The children were obviously in the foster care system, because they were not siblings, and they were living with the two men. As soon as one of the men realized what the little girl was saying to me, he quickly told her if she did not play, they would leave! I have never forgotten that little girl. It broke my heart! I wanted to rescue both of those children out of that situation!

I didn’t allow my child a phone until she was well past 16 yrs old, neither had unsupervised access to the internet… used only for research, with me, and homework tasks. She went to Christian schools in the US, then home schooled, then Christian school in the UK… So glad we have a close bound and now as an adult, she is going to provide the same boundaries for her future children as I set for her… she has seen the devastation caused when children are parented and brought up by social media and the internet…
Im doing the same with my 8yr old daughter. She goes to private Christian school and has zero internet access with out supervision. No cell phone until she can drive.

True! I taught at a home and school for children. They are quietly and quickly reducing the number of children into the Christian homes. The intention is to shutter them, soon. The few Foster homes of any worth are hamstrung by lack of contact by social workers and red tape. Foster families are quitting out of pure frustration. When we applied for our license we were denied because we were asked how we would respond as Christians to a lgtbq foster child. We replied that we would love and affirm the child his or herself, but did not agree with the LGBTQ lifestyle. This happened 3 years ago.

They would be the only "OK" ones, yes. But it's almost exclusively Christians who apply to be foster parents at all, so what this bill will really cause, if anything, is an increased shortage of foster "homes".
And an increased shortage of Foster homes would cause further problems .... its all so back to front .I feel sorry for those children ,especially with what they're being taught in schools .....
