Communists, LGBTQ Activists Target Christian Coffee Shop: 'It's...Spiritual Warfare'

- The owner of a Christian coffee shop in Colorado said his business and ministry have continued to be under a barrage of attacks from communist and LGBTQ protesters who have reportedly incessantly sought the establishment's closure.
Jamie Sanchez, the founder of Recycle God's Love, joined CBN News last summer to discuss the chaos surrounding the Drip Cafe, a coffee shop he launched to further his mission through affiliated ministry Project Revive of helping the homeless through employment and connections to resources.
"The Drip Cafe is basically an idea from our project where we're helping homeless people get out of homelessness, to break the chains that are holding them down with homelessness," he said in a recent follow-up interview. "One of those important areas is to have a real job, to build a resume, to get work experience, to get used to socializing in a normal setting."
In addition to working toward the goal of employing those without homes, Sanchez said the Drip Cafe has been able to come alongside community members in prayer and encouragement. But the effort hasn't been easy. Months later, he said protests against Drip Cafe persist. As previously reported, people began gathering last June outside the shop, shouting, and taking aim at the fruits of the ministry's labor.
A statement affirming biblical sexuality on the Recycle God's Love website was reportedly a catalyst for the protests that began in June and haven't ceased. Watch Sanchez explain.

Although I am not Catholic, I too stand by Drip Cafe. Everyone is different, and I am fine with that. I am not fine with people making fun of any differences like differences in religion. It is also messed up that they are trying to take down something that helps the community and the homeless.
Why would ANYONE be against this ministry? It gives homeless people a job. It shares love with those needing love. I don’t get it. Prayers for your business to continue to thrive and grow despite the fools against it.

To be fair this is just the flipside of alleged Christians protesting gay funerals, committing or celebrating violence against queer businesses & people.

They've built a reputation for horrendously ugly behavior at funerals based on the idea that such behavior might prompt discussion that leads to conversions, or to violence. They actually want people to become violent towards them so they can sue and get paid. They're a disgusting example of what evangelism ISN'T supposed to look like. They've been doing this for quite some time. They show up at funerals for service members, members of the LGBT communities, and anyone else not living a biblical lifestyle in their estimation.

Hello! Non-Delusional lgbt member here. I think what this coffee shop is doing is great. Do they agree with my life choices? Nope. And that's perfectly okay. We live in America and I'm thrilled to see them living their lives freely as they want to just as I'm living mine. Its ok to disagree, so long as we love and respect each other, just as god calls us to.
And look at the great work they're doing. Homelessness is such a overwhelming situation for someone to try and escape from. To have people reaching out to help them, no matter if their motivation is religious, is always a win.

I am a military veteran, and I was homeless for 2 years. I really appreciate The Drip Cafe's mission! I will pray for your cafe! I have been persecuted for years by my ex! Psalm 91.4- "He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
I went through the same and more, but God rescued me and healed me. He’s our best friend, hands down.

I know from my own experience of homelessness that once you are out on the street, you cannot get back by yourself. A person absolutely needs your kind of ministry. Would that there were many many more people to do your holy work. May the Holy One bless you and protect you.
Hi. After I saw the first video back in Aug 2023 I started praying for Drip Cafe. In fact I wrote this prayer item in my notebook. I am overjoyed to learn that Jamie and the Drip are still around and thriving and helping those in need. Praise His glorious Name. @@EVA-ki5vw I somewhat agree. It's human nature to want to FIGHT! Pray first for God's direction, God's timing before acting on human instinct and human need to fight. When we take things into our own hands because we feel it's wrong not to do something or wrong not to fight, we are not letting God work in our life, allowing for his direction. I say pray because prayer is powerful, especially when two or more are gathered, truly believe. Just my opinion.

Catholics are not like born-again Christians in any sense. True born-again Christians do not worship dollies/idols/images of Mary or sing to her. Nor adhere to other so-called saints, pray on beads, etc. They do not believe in Catholic mystics and pray to the bones of mystics.
True Christian believers know Mary was kept a virgin up till the time of Christ's birth; then she, as a wife, had other children, sons, and daughters with Joseph, and their sons' names are listed in the Bible. She too had to receive Christ as her Savior to be saved, being no better than any other sinner. However, Christians recognize she revealed exceptional faith and obedience before God. Her cousin, Elizabeth, also exhibited exceptional faith and godliness. Joseph did too; he being a just man and one who obeyed all God commanded of him in the protection of Jesus Christ, God the Son, as his adoptive son.
The Bible declares idolaters (those who bow before idols, pray before them, etc.) go to the lake of fire. Idolatry has no place in true Christianity. Christ condemned Catholicism when people attempted to uplift Mary when He was on the earth. Now Jesus' mother and brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd. Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you." He replied, "My mother and brothers are those who hear God's word and put it into practice." (Luke chapter 8, verses 19-21)
And Jesus only called Mary, “Woman” in the Scriptures as He was God Almighty and would soon leave all that is earthly. Never do we see him refer to her as mother. And we know today, we know longer know Christ after the flesh but as eternal God, no more of this earth, now possessing His glorified body, separated as Creator God the Son, alone. He only refers to God the Father in relationship to the parental.
True Christians believe in receiving Christ Jesus, the Christ of the Bible from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21, with no additions or subtractions, as their personal Savior. They do not believe in salvation by works. The Holy Spirit indwells true believers, equipping them to live godly in Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ died for every person so anyone can be saved from their sins who call upon Him.
Romans 10:9 in the Bible: "That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the LORD Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Denver is wacky, I was just there a couple of months ago, you step into the airport and instantly the vibe is super dark man.
There's definitely something dark with the airport, started with this weird renovation they're doing that wasn't necessary. But it doesn't reflect all of the Denver metro area.

I am a firm believer in if you own a business you have the right to refuse service to anyone... Anyone.... Especially if they are against what you believe in.....
What other sins to people have to be clear of before you will serve them? Can they be divorced? Must they prove that they don't lie?
But you missed the point, Jamie doesn't refuse service to those he may disagree with. Whether you're a Christian, agnostic, or atheist, you should acknowledge that Jesus didn't hang out with the elites, he sought out outcasts, the hated tax collector, the leper, the cripple, the blind, the prostitute....he loved them and healed them, rather than rejecting or condemning them. That's Jamie's philosophy too.

The church does not "hate" gays. That is the wrong language, That is their language. The church offers compassion to all.
Looking forward to one day seeing workers inside this type of establishment, come outside raise their hands and heart to the Lord God, and He will pour out his spirit on these protesters--setting them free, healing them and restoring them to Himself. The enemy inside of them send the protesters to his cafe, but the spirit of God inside them seek the light that emanates from the gathering of believers. Where the spirit of the Lords is, there is liberty-freedom. Where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am in the middle of it.
