Excellent video! I spoke with 3 physicians and they all warned that users of Ozempic & Wegovy have a Significant Risk of Developing Thyroid Cancer. Just like you shared, the weight loss inevitably returns once the medications cease. I will stick with appointments with my personal trainer & a diet of clean eating for continued weight loss.
I just heard about the thyroid cancer risk today! I wish I would have known when I recorded the video or I would have added it in there. I just read about a lawsuit being filed because of it. Maybe I’ll do a quick update about it in the next video! Thank you so much for watching!
Great that you bring this issue as a former heavy person. All of the "safety" of GLP-1 drugs is based on years of use for diabetes where the diabetes dose is a small percentage of the weight loss dose. It's said, "The dose is the poison." Medical profession getting it wrong? When I was a kid, doctors wearing a white coat advertised cigarettes on TV. When my mother was a young woman doctors actually wrote prescritptions for cigarettes.
That is spot on. Yes they did push cigarettes as well. Money is a huge motivator for a lot of people. Even the ones that make a lot of money to begin with. It’s never enough. I was born a few years after drug companies and doctors stopped pushing thalidomide for pregnant women. That worked out well.
