I like this style of video. I got a lot of steps in watching it. Btw you don’t look obese. I understand dysmorphia well though. I still need to watch your Simmons video. It would be cool if you blew up big enough to go full time YT.

My weight puts me on the BMI chart as obese, but my body fat % is in the athletic range. It’s just that I still get told I need to lose weight based on that BMI chart until they take my body fat percentage. It happens every year at work and it is annoying. The Richard Simmons video is my favorite. I spent so much time making it and I think I did a decent job. Of course I would change things about it now, but I like it and I don’t say that about most things I do. But he was an amazing subject.

I think at the end of the day it's all about finding Balance with yourself your body and your mind. Btw some of things these people are say is for shock value. It would not suprise me if one of the producers said be abit more exaggerated. to get more clicks and views. But also we are not getting the full view we are getting a edited viewpoint we have to remember that. They could have sat thier for 1 or 2 hours straigth having this conversation but we only see a small portion of it.

Absolutely. I think one person was there in particular for shock value and it is on brand for him. He is like that in other things he does as well. I would have loved to see someone on the panel who was formerly fat as well to have a bit more balance of opinion. People who were always thin will never know what it is like to be in a fat body and can’t ever speak on it with any real knowledge.

@@LifeAfterLosing that is great idea. Maybe you should apply one day to go on thier platform to share your experience what it's like. From being fat to Healthy weigth. I think what it comes down to is they may have never experienced what it is like to be overweight and if they have it was only little while. because if they did they would have more compassion and empath.

@joelprince4170 and gaining weight for an experiment is not close to the reality of being obese. You have to live it to truly experience it for more than a few months.

@@LifeAfterLosing we live in a very shallow world. the many stories I have read on youtube and various other sub Threads.from people who have been both fat and skinny. the overwhelming consensus is that when you happen to be overweight or obese. Society/people don't take you seriously. I have to say it's True. When comes to getting jobs/promotions or Dating or just in gerneral treatment. Life is easier when skinny or healthy weigth.

@@joelprince4170 I agree 100%. I wish we could change it. I’m in a position where I hire people now and I don’t hire that way. Probably because I’ve been on both sides I think about it.

You shouldnt judge people for their size, but you also shouldnt glorify being fat or skinny.
Its a hard thing, to turn your life around, especially with weight, muscles and diet. If you know someone who is open to try it, the best thing you can do is try to make the journey easier for them.

100%. I wish the fit guys knew that. We need to glorify health and going outside. Weight will work itself out when people enjoy the outdoors more.

I don’t hate what he says at all, it’s just how he says it. It will work for some people that are already in shape to help push themselves harder, but it won’t help fat people lose weight. Fat people have issues to work through before they can understand that type of tough approach, and even then it still won’t work for most people. There is a target audience for it, and I get it.
