Be grateful to anyone who starts a sentence with the words, "As a...". They are letting you know upfront that they are a twot, saving you the time to come to that conclusion yourself.
We should be in such an educated state that we should know not to react, but to go away, if we cannot answer something, and if answering something to answer it directly, in such a way that the other person is impressed to think, and if they are not impressed there is clear evidence of dealing with someone whose mind is shut off, and being shut off one is going nowhere with them, just a wall put up against us, so we then leave off.
Back in 2006 I remember using the phrase "lived experience" as a way to bust apart what I felt were the cliches an NGO type was spitting at me. But after 18 years, Twitter, and social media, every single buzzword has cycled between paradigm-changing, cliche, and cringe multiple times. Whats worse is that the corporate suits and the NGOs are using the same buzzwords to "build their brand" something which they never would have done in the 80s.
Dr. Philip Kiszely is always a pleasure. He's not afraid to tell it like it is.

As a twot, I agree with your conclusion.
Salut😊
“Lived experience” is another of those trendy terms that reek of the faculty lounge.
Or loo🚽💩.
Correct. We do not have to state we lived, because we live, and experience is bound to be present if we lived. I believe it is called a hyperbole.

Hyperboles are so much used today, like lived experience. If you live, it follows you have experience.
Move to another country then almost demand more of others that have a shared "lived experience ".
I'm curious... what's an UNlived experience exactly?
Rigor mortis, aka death.
Dawkins said it best. Anecdotal evidence is NOT evidence.
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️“Lived experience” is a tautology… What kind of experience is not lived? 😬😬😬
And I believe it is hyperbole/ To live is to have experience.
Vicarious experience.
