Happy to hear dude..Tamil people not against for Hindi but politician trying to impose Hindi in south India which thrash other language, cultures & history..Apart from that, we are all Indians..Our pride moment is we are speaking diff language diff culture but we are United..thats our strong..Jai Hind..

@@joseind18 brother my mother tongue is magahi language but I speak Hindi also , so that I can easily communicate with people of other part of India. I love both Magahi and Hindi language because both are language of my nation. So learning Hindi doesn't mean that we should forget our mother language. Jayalalitha was Tamilian but she was so fluent in Hindi that she was very much famous in North India. Therefore learning Hindi should be done only for communication purpose and nothing else.

@@avinashtiwary8029 who said jayalalitha was tamilan? she is from karnataka. (even though we Tamil people accept her also a one of our leader, thats own land ideology taught us)
do you know how many languages are destroyed because of choosing second language like hindi. This sarkar is imposing hindi to us, this will corrupt my local language in future. simple example is just search current hindi speaking states in where hindi overcomes as supremacy in those states litreature, movies, novels, short stories etc.,
Meanwhile tamil, malayalam, bengali, oria languages still has their own language litreatures, movies, novels, short stories etc., mainly " In their own language".
do you know how hindi imposition works? recent example is in Postal exams.. this hindi sarkar imposed hindi n english only in the exam question papers. not in local languages. what about the local people who doesn't know english n hindi? instead local languages. this is raised in Lok sabha and that day itself central govt said they will cancel this exam and this exam will be conduct again with their local languages. this is bit sample, there are more tons of imposition we can say. if you want i can list out.
do you know hindi doesn't has it own script!

Avinash Tiwary just imagine there is big door(communication path), A big man(English) and a small baby(Hindi) both man & baby able to enter into that door..Dnt need to keep big door for big man and small door for small baby..Similarly English is a big door language is enough to communicate within India and outside India...Even now we both communicating in English..So we feel no need Hindi..If it’s necessary, yes we will learn..but Hindi is un necessary for us..Now am working in IT field, For communication we are using English language then why we need to learn Hindi unnecessary..This is what we feel...In case if I get a job in North India, definitely I like to learn Hindi...

But still we tamil people, have a huge history on it in our education. Initially , the first human kind started speaking in tamil , before any other being derived. And many other languages are influenced and derived from tamil. If you're not sure about anything , don't jump on anything !

Tamil people's passion for the language can at times be misunderstood by my friends from other states. Tamil is something that we're naturally proud of. There's nothing antinational about it. TN contributes well towards our national revenue. I don't hate learning Hindi or other languages. It's just that I like it to be left to my personal choice. I'm at Delhi and I'm learning Hindi now. Our country's constitution was built on the promise that every state's language and culture would be preserved. After all with this much diversity, we're all still lucky to be one country. It's not just fair to impose Hindi on Tamil people and make them learn it. I'm not against any language. I'm just against forceful imposition.

In school all of us learn atleast 3 languages as there is always a 2nd language and 3rd language paper in addition to learning English, so what is the harm in learning one more national language that would help remove communication gap for everyone everywhere, the last time I was in Chennai with my parents I had a horrid time communicating with anyone, thank God knowing English saved me but a lot of times that failed as well as I met a lot of people who couldn't speak English, it's a nightmare trying to ask for directions when two people can't even understand each other, btw I'm not from the north but I do think it would solve a lot of communication problems if everyone atleast knew basic Hindi.

Ancient Tamil Literature, Tholkappiyam is said to be the first written text in the world to describe six senses which related to external body parts.
"beings with one sense are those that have the sense of TOUCH.
Beings with two senses are those that have the sense of TASTE along with the above.
Beings with three senses have sense of SMELL in addition.
Beings with four senses have sense of SIGHT, along with the above.
Beings with five senses have sense of HEARING,in addition.
The beings with six senses, have a MIND, along with the above."
Tholkappiyam, does not stop with this classification alone, it’s also gives examples of beings in each of these classifications .For example:senses
Grass (Pul) and Trees (Maram) have single sense, that is the sense of touch. Similar beings also form part of this branch (kilai).
Snails (Nandhu) and Oysters or Molluscs (Mural) have two senses, the sense of touch and taste. Similar beings also form part of this branch (kilai)
Termites (Sidhal) and Ants (Erumbu) have three senses, the sense of touch, taste and smell. Similar beings also form part of this branch (kilai).
Crabs or Crustaceans (Nandu) and Dragonfly or Beetles (Thumbi) have four senses, the sense of touch, taste, smell and vision. Similar beings also form part of this branch (kilai).
Horses, Elephants, Pigs (Maa) and Other similar animals and birds (Maakkal) have five senses, the sense of touch, taste, smell, vision and hearing. Similar beings also form part of this branch (kilai).
Only humans have six senses, the sense of touch, taste, smell, vision, hearing and mind. Similar beings also form part of this branch (kilai).

even before christ , the ancient tamil scholar tholkappiar who wrote tholkappiam mentioned or organised the classification of living beings according to their six senses. But surprusingly they know that the senses were obtained due to evolution from touch sense to th last hearing sense. And the recognised hearing sense is the most valuable of all physical senses. Tamils know a lot they even said "anu vi thulaithu aayiram koor aaki" meaning drilling a atom into thousand shares" and making us know atom can be separated. They even know earth was round and the solar system is heliocentric not geo centric , example: the ancient tamil temples have nine planetary idols in that which sun is made to be placed in the centre.
