The thing with most of these show videos is that what we see in youtube is not live and after they were all edited and because the editors end up being under tremendous pressure to get the videos released (and usually the file namings are all screwed up that its impossible for the editor to figure out which is which) what happens more often than we expect is that the audience clips don't end up matching to the performance moments... Means what you are seeing as audience in the middle of the performance is probably them reacting to something else or just them waiting for a performance to start... Even I remember attending one show and what I saw was that the camera crew was taking shots of the audience before the show begins and then once the show starts, they focussed exclusively on recording the show... So, thats why you see the audience sitting silently with no reaction whatsoever...

During that period, no auto tune or pre recorded sessions available they sang directly on stage.he gives a new carnatic version on stage for the same song.. he is legend. He changed the era with his singing style as modern, when others were singing in a polite way. So many fans were there when he came into this industry. Hope you know about A R Rahman Oscar winner.
