Hello
That's amazing.
Ok cool now bring back Live PD. BLM will riot anyway no matter the outcome for the George Floyd trial
So is anyone gonna explain that horseshoe crab just chillin on the floor?
Right?! Wow
THIS!!!
I thought it was real and the flooding came from a HUGE broken fish tank.
Then I heard one of the guys comment on how much it looked like it was real.
Total letdown LOL😅😅
What time in the video
@@curtisdavis9522 1:53 !
It’s just the shell. About this time every year, they molt and leave behind the old shell. These wash up on the beaches and people collect them. They are everywhere in this area.
It’s always good to have home owners insurance/ renters insurance.
@Annie Oakley Absolutely.
Every time I see a fire or busted pipes, I review my renter's policy lol I feel sorry for those who don't have coverage.
@@DarknessFalls29 yep, lol
And make sure that flood coverage is on it too lol
@@velabela7634 yep!!!
Huge ups to those firemen
Amazing workers..always put their heart and soul into the job

For people wondering, the horseshoe crab at 1:58 was just the shell. They molt this time of year and people like to collect the big old shells to display them.
I almost started crying when I saw how much water was in the poor guys apartment 😢
Lol crying over this??
Yes , it's sad. Imagine if it happened to you?
I bet he requested to have a pool Side apt., when he Signed the contract! h be careful for what you wish for!
I would run away in tears. That’s overwhelming. 🥺🥺🥺
Holy titanic batman
Sad wow I feel bad for anyone who goes through this
I live in a basement apartment and I have gone through water over flowing from my toilet and bathtub and I remember it so well...my heart goes out to the people
This is exactly what happened to my apartment, except it was -12° outside at the time and everything froze. What a mess.
I swear last year's winter was so bad- it was historical! Below 0°C for a week or 2, it was so bad the downstairs toilet bowl was frozen solid
@@noahboat580 great for skiers. Lol
@@Matt-oz1hw lol
LOL THAT HORSESHOE CRAB AT 1:57 is just chillin
What a mess. I've done flood restoration. It's a tedious process.
Those are nice and big apartments. I hope everything was covered.
I believe that's a condominium
This is what happened to many Texans in their estates and businesses when the deadly winter storm hit the state after Valentine’s Day! I was never a flood victim because of a burst pipe. I am not a Texas resident, Florida resident.
you a florida man
From Houston txs .
We wasnt ready lol
I feel horrible for these poor families, just pray None of them are disabled in any way shape or form ❤❤❤🙏😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢So Sorry this happened to them. I also went through a similar flood and a Fire after. Nightmare
LOL THE HORSESHOE CRAB JS CHILLIN MAN
Too bad. Looks like a nice apartment too.
I hope they had flood insurance. I know most people usually anticipate flooding with extreme weather conditions and not for situations like this.
Flood insurance doesn’t cover fire related flooding
@@suzyrottencrotch5132 Cx
@@TwigzMso real one
I think the fire department should have to cover it. They inspect the fire lines and it looks like something was missed
@@Nothingtoya lol and who pays the fire department
Yikes!!! I feel for these people!!! Hopefully they have good insurance!
Good thinking on the toilet idea though!
Nationwide is on your side
Like a good neighbor……..
🌊 State Farm is there 🪣
Very beautiful place & decorated. Imagine the other places work. OMG I've seen it all. Bless the guys working tirelessly. They should be pd really well
Oh no! If I were that apartment tenant, I would be having the worst panic. That would completely overwhelm me. What a nightmare. For various reasons, I could never live in a place, like these super tall buildings in these metro cities. Like a few weeks ago I saw on TikTok these residents still in their really tall apartment building that was watching a hurricane from their windows, up that high. Guess the bright side is that the people were all okay???
Right. I would never want to live in a high rise & prefer honestly to not live in an apartment period
I whitnessed two times in the dorms when I was in College, water pipes Bursting! The first one was down stairs by the MGRS, Office that was a Pool for sure! and then the one in 2013 or was it in 2014, the pipes froze, because the staff turned the A/C on during the winter! yea, the US dept of ed., really has some smart staff members working for these Places!
RED ALERT ! RED ALERT ! lol the alarm reminded me of Star Trek. Man whoever they call for water damage restoration is gonna make bank $$$.
04:00 that apartment and that view look VERY expensive LOL!
Yeah, and it's a penthouse unit, looks to be 3 bedrooms! What's a disaster
wow, and of course on a top floor so it floods everything below too!
Bruh this happened the day after Christmas on 2020, what a way to cap off that year lol.
@3:57 look at that stunning view though!
When there's water pouring out of the spotlights it's time to shut off the power...
Anyone wanna explain why there’s a horseshoe crab just chilling?
Florida man's pet.
I hear crabs are a problem in Florida...
Oh wow, I sure wouldn't want to deal with that mess.
Think about whats behind the walls and ceiling???
That Doodle was pretty calm. My puppy would have been freaking at the sounds. She was traumatized once in our building by the fire alarm testing. It took all day and lots of love and pets from everyone she knows to get her to calm down and feel safe again.
If it was just the water without the Claxon she would have loved the excitement.
When you live in an apartment you have NO CLUE whether it's being maintained properly or not.
As a property manager I know this is ruining everyone’s day. Poor maintenance guys too!
You guys are awesome , well done , excellent job 😃👍
WOW 😳
I thought I had it bad when my pipes leaked in my apartment, I have had over a dozen in 18yrs I have lived here but thankfully they were small and nothing like that!!
I lived in another apartment before I moved here & the heater/boiler pipes busted in my apartment one winter and there was thousands of gallons of water they pumped out of my one bedroom apartment. I know how much of a mess & a hassle it is & it's no fun!!
I feel for these people!!!!!
Now that is some awesome firemen
Wait where did the horseshoe crab come from????????
I just wanted to ask that q...LoL
His name is Spot.
That’s crazy what the heck
It’s prehistoric
It’s a decoration, probably a plastic piece or one that was taxidermy.
One thing I can see immediately, how FD are handling the situation! Here (my country) I can't see FD swap my floor out of the water... so this is F*** impressive!
2 things that REALLY shocked me that no one I saw pointed out in the comments. While I give tons of credit to the firefighters and their job I just can't believe they took the elevator instead of the stairs in case the water A. tripped off power or B. caused an electrical fire causing a much worse situation. 2. I'm shocked no pun btw that they didn't shut off the power to the building being everyone is standing in the open water flow where ceiling lights are obviously on in the video. At least get the people out of the apartment quickly if the power cannot be shut off quickly. Seeing the horseshoe crab shell floating made my day though.
I install fire sprinkler systems and ive never seen anything like this holy moly
Give it time, I seen it all. That’s a slip style fitting that are the worst. There is no groove just a plan cut pipe locked I. With two screws. Half a turn and it’s locked in. They have a pump so the surge of it over time can push that apart.
@@schawnfleites1555 must be very old then ive never came across it
horseshoe crab was vibin
Bring back live PD
Yes
That would be nice.
I would never have thought of using the toilet drain like that!
Good on the fire service well done guys
That place is an aquarium 🐟🐬🐋
This exact thing happened to me in my apartment I feel your pain....
That lead fireman stays so calm. What did the lady say to the firemen while they were helping getting S much water out
I just wanna know where the horseshoe crab came from 😅
Think it was just from t he wall not living
its a fire sprinkler hence why the fire alarm is sounding
and you can tell if its a fire sprinkler pipe by reading what the fire alarm panel says it would say waterflow
also does nobody wanna silnce that alarm
Everyone's going to get a hefty check to replace all that stuff
This is why everyone needs insurance! If it is the building owner’s problem, their insurance would cover it but if you caused it, you need the insure to cover your own belongings and a new place to live. Your liability coverage would pay for the building damage.
Obviously the tenants didnt cause this if its the sprinkler system pipe that burst.
this is the most Florida thing I've seen
What a freaking nightmare.
So, there was another apartment disaster just two months before the condo collapse?
Yup looks pretty bad
Working security in high rise condos I can tell you it happens a lot. It will make it clear through to the ground apt causing damage to the whole stack.
It was the fire system that failed but how can you get angry with the fire department? Technically not the fire department but the company that installed and/or was responsible for the annual inspection of the fire system pipes. Oh well, water happens. This happened on a much smaller scale in my apartment building of only six stories. Very old building only just installed the sprinkler system. Someone forgot to seal two of the PVC pipes before turning on the water to test the system. The sprinkler head popped off immediately and flooded my neighbor's apartment. At least they were all still here when it happened. Even still there was quite of bit of water damage.
Yes finally some one who does not say it’s the fire departments fault
I feel like I'm on an episode of Star trek with the alarm like that
Those poor people 😪
Nice apartments. Asides the water
Waz up with the funny looken turtle just like he's at home in the ocean having a great day
funny looking turtle💀💀
What a nightmare!
Dang now thats what u call a roof side pool house
What a nightmare
This exact situation happened to my family and I. The pipe from toilet connected to the wall broke, which caused a flood. I guess because of the pressure the water heater started gushing water. Our apartment and the apartment below was flooded. The apartment after hours maintenance told us to call 911 because their plumber was an hour away. It was a mess.
Why do they do that??? Leave us hanging wanting to see the finish line? Ticks me off!
I couldn’t imagine!😩😭
Our apartment building has minor busts in the main hallway, I can't even imagine this. We're also told to keep the windows closed in the winter because...pipes.
Actual footage of my apartment complex December 1st after a successful No-Nut-November
wtf
At least the walls and floors will be clean now
Not really seeing as how they will have to be replaced
@@rebeccaspellmeyer5761 obviously Rebecca it’s a joke
And that ladies and gentlemen is why you get rental/home owners insurance. ALWAYS.
WOW!!
Wow!
What a terrible mess.
I wonder how many of these will happen before they start adding more freely accessible shut off valves
Do love how the owner is just taking a video and staying out of the way. Don't blame the owner for doing that since who would have thought that your hime would get flooded. The horseshoe crab did kinda shock me and was thinking if that was real than what is wrong with this place but since is is a shell okay.
doesnt really matter about removing the water until the water service guys get there. I mean. those home owners will still have to remove like 4 feet of dry wall on all effected floors as well as ceilings. and have lots of Electrical work done too and floor replacing, carpet replacing, replacing of furniture and other items as well. I would say couple Million doors worth of work and items most likely. Insurance is going to have fun on this one.
What a fkn insurance claim 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🐾🐾🐾🐾🐈🐈🐈🐈Save Kitty Cat PLEASE
Another good reminder to keep insurance.
Firemen getting water out of a house. Ironic.
If this is my apartment I will lose my mind 🤦🏻♀️
Apartment life.
I am bawling thinking about all those people that live there!!! But why wouldnt they just push it out over the balcony?????
Not sure, it looked easier to push it over it... maybe a safety risk🤷♂️
My guess is safety they are on the 16th floor
Well thats gonna cost a pretty big penny
REALLY smart idea to take the toilet off to use as a floor drain, only 2 bolts holding it on
Is that a horseshoe crab on the floor??? where did that come from??
Those Californians must be jaelous that people have so much water.
Fire sprinkler line, that would be an HOA responsibility the claim would go against the building
8:50 the crab escaped!
Their ears were probably ringing for days 😱
Specter alert advances speaker strobe
Evax Evac is the tone.
I'd be so afraid of electrocution
it has to be this bad in order for the fire department to consider this to be an emergency smh.
cool video
So Florida
God. That sucks
Gigantic squeegees!
This sucks to happen to anyone what a shame
This is exactly why we all need insurance
Dúfam že to nemusel platiť majiteľ bytu . Ale aspoň je vidieť že sprinklerový systém funguje riadne a uhasi podľa mňa už čokolvek
If they tried to make me pay for that i would just leave
