Hi everyone! This video focuses on a Program Manager framework that can be used to answer any open-ended interview question. And acts as an item you should reference when you think about your behavioral interview examples. This framework truly works for any position at any company, please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

I may have an addition B (Benefits) in your framework. Perhaps objectives/goals would cover that but I have always found it effective when benefits are listed out explicitly. Many a times these benefits play a role in justifying budget/cost and get required approvals. Your thoughts?

hi Jeff, I interviewed with a company that was not google who also asked STAR and open-ended type questions and I attempted to use the CFAS method for an open-ended question, however the interviewer seemingly wanted me to just move along faster and get to the solution -- sort of backwards from what google would like -- I felt the interview turned a bit negative as the interviewer seemed to wonder why I was asking clarifying questions, as if I came off unprepared/inexperienced in interviews. Do you suggest the CFAS method for companies outside of google, or might it be better to simply answer the question asked by diving into a solution?

    • @davidkatusa3577
