Great job Dustin. I'm sure the owner appreciates you handling his Benz with kid gloves.
Great to see you back in the truck Dustin. Glad you enjoyed your days off. Always enjoying your videos :-)
Thanks for watching!
Outstanding job bud. Enjoy your videos and content
Thanks for watching! Glad you’re enjoying the content!
the picture and sound is perfect and great job
Great to see different types of tows Dustan. Stay safe see you on the next one 😊
Watched
Thank You!
I am watching from HUMBLE...! Yeah baby! 😅
That’s awesome lol
I enjoy seeing all the small details how these vehicles are loaded and strapped down. Makes me interested in towing when I'm finally ready to retire from my office job!
Towing is more of a lifestyle than a job. Wouldn’t really recommend it for someone retired unless you just really don’t like rest 😂
@@Towtruck_Dustin No doubt. I mention retiring from office work and looking for something hands on. I find towing interesting.
I love it. Can’t see myself doing anything else.
Yeah I would use that on the g wagon to . Use what's best for you out there towing everyday you know what's right and not right.
(͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) Good luck and stay safe
Ouch!
Rubber band tires don’t do well against curbs and pot holes!
Thanks for another great video Dustin, I learn something from every one of your videos.
Thanks for watching! Glad you’re enjoying the content!
Nice boat in driveway
hey man, im a driver too. just a heads up all the addresses and names of people are sometimes visible like at 1:20 in your towbook app. not sure if you care or not but that information could be sensitive. like the channel tho bro keep it up
🔥🔥🔥
Looks like you had some fun on your time off, good deal!
It was a long time coming
Replying to the eight point thoughts, how they'd be in the way. I kind of agree. I use exclusively eight point on my deck trucks, and it's a bit of a problem for bigger vehicles, pickup trucks usually. When the wheels roll, not a problem, just loosen off the straps and hang them off the side of the deck. When wheels don't roll, it's a little bit of an inconvenience to either hang the straps off, or just even have to unchain them from the deck. But it really isn't too bad. You get used to it pretty quickly. And you never have to worry about whether a vehicle has alloy or steel rims, just fits up and over every time regardless. Until you're working a wreck... I recall one carbeque I picked up, crispy thing, I think it used to be a jeep? Took all my straps off, and just had to chain it. That's the only time the straps really got in the way.
As stated immediately after. Not wrong. Just different. There's lots of ways to do a job. Whatever anyone is most comfortable doing, as long as it's safe, reliable, and works.
Yeah that’s what I was trying to say. They have their time and place, I just don’t like having to throw stuff off the deck, and being in down in Texas, a lot of what we do is trucks and larger vehicles.
good video, that looks like a pole trailer
Every time I see a G Wagon, I think of the Whistlin Diesel video about the girl wanting one for her birthday and she keeps whining, “I want a G Wagon!”. Then it drops through the ceiling.
😂😂😂😂
Very nice work video was just fine looking good 👍👍👍👍👍😊
Thank You!
I noticed that vehicle had a paper tag. Surprising how come they hit the curb and wasted 2 tires? Leaves to question a lot. Thanks for sharing.😂
Accidents happen.
@@Towtruck_Dustin Yeah, it sure does. But still I have questions on that?
100% agree with not keeping them on the deck all the time, but when im doing roadside calls i like only having to use 2 8 point straps
I wouldn’t use only 2, because in reality they’re still only 2 points. Lose one end for some reason and the whole strap is useless.
Every time I’ve tried that, even when I cinch them down tight, they still get slack.
Always strap all 4 corners.
Great video!! I was really looking forward to seeing the blue "show wrecker" you spoke of but.............? What is the trailer dolly used for? Thanks. Stay safe.
I knew I was forgetting to add something!
✌️👍
the tire shop has to play music from public domain to play it over the speakers like that, so it shouldnt affect your videos
In the store, yes. But the mechanics in the shop… they’re out there jamming to whatever they want on a Bluetooth speaker.
Would u take one of them g wagon if it was given to you
Who wouldn’t? lol
Well it's not something I would want
Всё норм, профессионально,молодец.
Thank You!
4 point straps not 8 point straps cut one side whole strap is useless 8 d ring straps are 8 point tie down
What? they're called 8 point straps cause if you use all four you got 8 points of tie down.
Although I agree with what you’re saying on the functional side of it, but they still attach at 8 points, as said above. So regardless they’re still 8 point straps.
Yep it’s not 8 points idc if they touch at 8 different spots you cut one the whole strap is useless so how would you still have 7 oh you wouldn’t you would have three but yall keep thinking those are 8 points
@@Nick_girardot they are 8 point straps cause each strap connects to the deck 2 times. As for the strap breaking in some way during transport, in all my years I’ve not had one strap break in transport 🤷🏻♂️
Some people just don’t get it lol
DOesnt the gwag have a spare
What good would that do if it has two flats?
Who carries two spares 😂
@@Towtruck_Dustin just break it in half, then you would have two spares LOL
Still be flat on one side too 😂
@@Towtruck_Dustin LOL
Riddle me this batman, why didnt you just drive the Benz onto rollback and secure it rather than take a chance damaging a control arm? Sorry if I missed an explanation during video. I know it would only have saved 5 minutes, but you wouldnt have had to lay on the wet ground and vehicle certainly had the clearance, flat tires and all
He prefers to pull them up the bed rather than drive them. All preference. For sure cuts out issues with false accusations of stolen property and such
He did explain that in the video. Said he wanted to minimize any driving the vehicle because its safer for the rims. You aren't going to damage the control arm with the vehicle in neutral and he also used the fabric straps to avoid scratches.
You have more control of the vehicle with the winch, and a better viewpoint. Also with a wet deck there’s the possibility to loose traction.
personally i drive almost everything up but everyone has their way of doing it
As said above, it was explained in the video why.
Driving vehicles onto the bed is a bad habit to get into, especially when it’s raining, or when you know they are damaged. You’ll get away with it most of the time, but find out they damaged the brakes, you’re going to have a hefty damage claim.
Don’t have to worry about that when you winch them up. That extra few minutes will save your butt.
great job bro
Thank You!
