You have a real Mustang my friend, that one there is a joke! Thanks for Sharing.
I hate calling them Mustangs. They’re anything but.
He’s trading his in for one of these. 😂😂😂😂
There’s a certain fluidity and exactness to the use of the straps in these videos that tickles a very specific spot in my brain and I absolutely love it.
not sure what is like there in the USA but I run my own towing company in the UK and I would either pull from bottom arms or use the towing eye what should be supplied in the back of the car. You can see where it can be screwed into the bumper if you pull the cap off at 5:39
I almost always use the lower arms also, but in this case the arms have plastic sleeves, and the towing procedure says never to use them as a tow point. I also very rarely ever use the tow pins. Too much headache and extra work for something less reliable and risky.
These have a rated tow point on the bumper that makes it easy. Not many EV’s do.
It's like the Grinch that takes the entire Christmas tree back to his shop to fix one burnt out light.
Sucks how none of the newer cars have a spare tire anymore
Damn those tires are bald- at least the rear tires!
My MachE GT has been very reliable! Great video!
As you was unhooking the right front during drop off , it looked like a screw was in that tire. Stay safe!
European version of Mach -E have one front bumper tow point and one back bumper tow point.
That would make sense. Hopefully it’s on there somewhere or will be included in future models.
@@Towtruck_Dustinim quite sure he means the eye to screw it in.
I am so very glad I have an old car. I fixed it next to the road a few times, and those things were not serious so i was able to go on no problem. As for flat tyres, had a few and those can be sorted even in remote places. love the spare wheel.
I love the hysterical critics here, sitting at home in mommy’s basement, taking a break from Call of Duty to stream real men working, play acting like experts while drooling ice cream from their chins. They are funny.
Keep up the real work Dustin.
Welcome to the internet. Where people that have never done your job, tell you how to do your job 😂
This is awesome lol
I last saw you use those straps on the G wagon.
I got a mach e that got into an accident with a cop car last week. They are steer by wire so after the accident the wheels didnt turn and the rear driver wheel was knocked sideways from the curb so i just drug it on the bed by the control arms and used 2 blocks to make it come up straight. I couldn't find the tow points at all but now I know where they are thanks to you if I ever get one that's not totaled
Yeah in a wreck, I’d grab the arms. Just have to be careful of the plastic sleeves on them.
I have learned so much since discovering this channel yesterday that I am compelled to subscribe.
Cheers
My work truck is a kenworth and no matter how hard I slammed the door it’s still pops open a little, but it’s still secured, but there were no point in me even taking a phone call cause all that they’ll really hears the wind
Yeah my passenger door is a pain to close. You have to open a window or driver door to get it to shut lol
Love how you explained everything as you went. She was a nice lady too. Glad you had a straightforward tow. Stay safe see you on the next one 😊
Thanks for watching!
Great job, Dustin. I will stick to fossil fuel cars. It is easier to fix and easier to tow. It's cheaper to fix also.😊
Between batteries and flat tyres (tires), EVs must be providing your industry with a lot of good earnings.
Всё хорошо и профессионально сделал,молодец.
Thank You!
Only tow points on the front interesting
The wonders of modern technology lol
See that tire bald cause flat. last time you used that strap month ago on hummer ev
Good job, The Original Design is from B/A Products Co. and are called Rollback Tie Down System
I wonder if people know you're filming or they think you're just crazy and talking to yourself 🤣
I’ve had a few questions lol
You always do a great job Dustin
Thank You!
Nice! Dumb that it only has the 2 t hook slots in the front and none in the back. Glad it has multiple ways to get it neutral, a lot of newer vehicles don’t even have 1. Those tow points are strong caused I dragged one that had front end damage. She needs new tires all around 🤦♂️
Towing it from a front end crash is going to be interesting. It is a bad habit to get into driving onto the bed. Short cuts are great until something goes wrong. People say, well I’ve been doing it for 30 years. I think good luck with that, you’re due.
I was thinking the same thing. Those tow points are gunna be useless in a front end collision.
Mach E is s beautiful! Interior takes a little to get used to.
Definitely different!
Thanks for the video Dustin!
Thanks for watching!
Throw it away! Great tow you’re right driving on/off is definitely a bad habit.
10:55 Bruh no wonder she has a flat the tire is bald 😅
Tire has definitely seen better days lol
Great tow truck drivers
Good job brother💪💪💪💪
Thank You!
LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!!!! LOVE FROM MINNESOTA ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Y si te digo una
A good job
Thank You!
I know not all trims of the 24 honda crv has a spare tire but still most trims of it have a spare tire so..
Most places in Arkansas won’t take a electric vehicle if they see any chains hooked up to the vehicle
Sounds like they’re ignorant to towing practices then.
Good one 👍👍😊
Thank You!
Electric Junk
electric smectric
That’s not a Mustang,,, that’s a mustake.
Who ever designed that atrocious vehicle and called it a Mustang should have to live with Jimmy Hoffa!😊
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great video! Quick question for you - Why not just drive the car onto the truck?
Driving them onto the bed is a bad habit to get into. More control when you winch them up like you’re supposed to.
No te lo puedo creer 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉 que no me lo
Very expertly done. No rookies towing them electric cars. Cause you can damage them very quickly. If you don't know what you're doing.
Definitely have to be careful!
Dustin have you ever seen those rollback's that have the beds that rotate if so would you use one?
That’s a dynamic bed. They’re cool!
They’re cool, but I’ve heard they’re problematic.
Would be useful in many situations tho.
@@Towtruck_Dustin that brand sucks! If it were built by NRC it would be a bad ass truck.
Man if thats real carbon fiber in the wheels id hate to see the price to replace one
Have you heard of or know of the potential fire from the EV malfunction that it has to be covered in a fire blanket to be towed because of the fire hazards? I've heard they can reignite while going down the road on a flat bed or even in the yard out of nowhere reignite so they should be parked kind of off by themselves.
That's usually if they are wrecked. When we tow ev that's wrecked we have to put them 20ft away from everything in all directions when we get to the yard that way it doesn't catch fire and burn other things
If you have the opportunity, attend the American tow expo. They provide awesome inexpensive classes on how to manage these ev vehicle.
Yeah as stated above that’s only a concern if they’re wrecked.
Here in Germany we even have to lift them in a container and flood with water, after a serious wreck.
@@tobiasmetzger4522 Think the EV has its place and not a replacement for ICE. About 100yrs ago or there abouts they tried the EV don't see it today for a reason, the biggest is the cost, infrastructure can't handle the load, time to charge, number of stations etc...... Should not be mandated, PERIOD!!! P.S. 1888 in your part of the planet was a guy named Andreas Flocken designed the Flocken Elektrowagen. I haven't seen any lately. lol
Im surprised you didn't cover her tag #
Why would I? It’s public information. You don’t drive around in public with it covered up.
lol do you cover your tag driving in public in view of others dashcams?
Are yall paid on commission?
Yes. Straight commission.
Which tire is flat
The one without air in it. Lol
mark 9:04
😀💪👍🇺🇲
If the owner does not have a spare tire then that sucks
Most new vehicles don’t come with spares from the factory.
It would be better to air up the tire right there and save them money
How do you plan to do that with a huge hole in the tire that can’t be repaired?
@Towtruck_Dustin you probably didn't know that till you go there to look at the tire. People always say they have a flat tire till the tow truck driver look at it, see a bigger problem than a flat tire. I Know all about it. My younger brother had worked for 2 towing for many years till he passed away in 2015. I only watched till you pulled up to the Mustang EV. I tried not to watch towing video when it brings up memory of my younger brother driving rollback truck
i waited all that time to watch you drive and u didnt even drive what a scam!
That’s the boring part. Any time I’ve included drive time in a video, it never does well. No one wants to see that.
@@Towtruck_Dustin i want to see that, like a vlog as youre driving id love it
Dustin the drive time is the best part
@@Drpepperkev4 exactly bro
you think electric junk would be loaded with tow points
Unfortunately it’s the other way around. They vary rarely have many. I was surprised this one had underbody hook points at all.
Still don’t understand why people are buying these cars
Gotta save the environment somehow lol
Si
Hay una tienda en mi pueblo
Hay una tienda
Most of them are dumb liberals
Tesla would be worst mustang mach e is always the best 👌
You mean the owner don’t know how to change the tire and spend all that money for a E V sucks doesn’t
No… it doesn’t come with a spare tire. Like most newer vehicles.
From your comments it is apparent that you read the title but couldn't be bothered watching the clip.

I’m just curious, if it drives.. why not drive it onto the bed? Not even tryna be funny lol the only time I absolutely winch a car is if it’s a manual with a not so great e brake (and disabled cars obviously)
I explained that pretty thoroughly in the video.
Driving cars onto the bed is a very bad habit to get into. Shortcuts work out most of the time, but when they don’t, it’s expensive.
I would drive them too. Until you realize how heavy those ev vehicles can be. I wouldn’t trust that weight and angle. Also you can see how the customer is watching every move he makes. If you Duke of hazard that car up the bed. You’ll potentially damage that bumper. Scraps do count and customer has every right to make a claim.
@@Towtruck_Dustini see it as the opposite. Unnecessarily pulling it (which sometimes isnt even possible if you're out of the vehicle) can scratch the bumper, since you guys don't use the tow eyes.
I bought a wheel and tire from Discount Tire for my 2024 Kona NLine. Fits in the wheel well in the trunk.
