Late model Ram Florida truck never saw salt roads zero rust!
Ran when parked
Lol
Love these off-road rescues, kinda funny to see how people get into these situations and how you make it seem so easy to rectify these predicaments, keep up the great work!!!
Thank You!
This is what it is all about people coming together to help each other
Right. Drinking on the beach and driving your truck into the ocean. What a way to bring people together.
I remember cars getting flooded all the time when I lived on Surfside Beach back in 1982. People would come down from Houston and other areas inland for the weekend. They park at low tide and get stuck at high tide.
I lived at 52 Bluewater Highway when it was a small RV park. Hurricane Allisia whipped it out back in ‘83. Now it’s a Luxury RV Resort with a restaurant. Great memories growing up on Surfside Beach. Back in those days the Happy Crab Bar was on the beach along with a pier.
I remember going there in 1981-1982. My jr high neighborhood buddy’s would bribe High schoolers who lived on my street to take us down there from sugar land for $20. There was a buc-ees real close to surf side that sold mini styrofoam boogie boards and these crazy looking flip flops called titties that would not come off your feet while in the water. They were the precursor to the modern teva or watershoe. That beach was mega fun for 14 years old. I also remember pushing out a new Datsun 200SX that was owned by my neighbors sister that got stuck in the sand very close to the entrance Dustin used. That car was super low to the ground. She had no business being on the beach 😅
@@JohnMurrayOP none of the vehicles i see stuck belong off the pavement
That salt water is full of healing properties for Ram Trucks.
No dummy it melts the tires and Chrome
😆😅😂🤣
And the transmission too
Awesome video! The situations people put themselves in. Thank you for sharing!😊
Thanks for watching!
That jeep guy have the winch accessory and doesn't even know how to use. Just for looking cool and wait for his buddies to come by and use it for him, good buddy indeed.
Lesson number 1 for Dummies in recoveries with the winch; Always keep away from a tensioned winch cable if they snap you can lose a arm, leg or even your life
That looked like a heavy truck
Great job guys
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
You can tell someone that is smart, will listen to others opinion and learn, the big guy was kool, and is a smart guy, props to him.
He’s very knowledgeable. He did vehicle recovery in the army. He’s no stranger to this kind of work.
@@Towtruck_Dustin that explains it, thank you.
Very supportive community there! Great job folks! Thanks for letting us watch the process.
Had the same thing happen to my Dodge Van on North Padre Island back in the ‘70’s . Spent an evening camping on the beach way back away from the water and woke up with waves hitting the side of the van but i managed to recover it and dry it out .
Thank you for seeing the beach it been 27 years since I seen the beach, you got understand my family moved away from Alvin, close to Galveston, the last time I the beach was in 1980.
Wow! Short of moving to the mountains, not sure I could leave the coast!
It was kinda hard my dad work for oil pipe line and he had to go where they send him and his family
I have to smell salt water to be happy.
Hey Mr.Dustin great job rescue that truck today 💯😁👍💯
Thank You!
Came out easy ? Hell you had 18 jeeps hooked to it 😂 Now all of yall jeepers can go down to Walmart parking lot and rub your “rubber ducks” together and talk about how hard that pull was
Lmao priceless
Lol. That's alot of emotion. Did somebody in a Jeep run you off the road in your Prius ?? 🤣🤣
Probably already on a CARMAX lot.
Manheim.
On yeah. Seen way worse than that.
I really, really enjoyed this video!!! I am a female, but I love the ocean and I love sand and driving on beaches, etc., etc.!! And my husband was an over the road truck driver long haul and then ending up just delivering brand new, semi trucks locally, which I helped him with in Salt Lake area, etc.!!! But I lived in Palm Beach Florida and also went to the New Jersey shore and Rhode Island, and have driven on Daytona Beach… Plus I lived with my husband in Alaska and our boys and we had a lot of times where we got stuck or we helped other people get out of being stuck, helping push them out with the vehicle or using tow ropes, kitty litter, shovels, etc., etc.!!! I love doing that!!! So impressed with you tow truck drivers or whatever you call yourself!!! I’ve been in a few of your trucks With my husband, etc.!! Thank you so very much for the great video!! Was the Oregon coast with my husband a while back, and I got out to jump around in the surf and look for shells, but my husband was freaking me out/scaring me, driving our black Jeep into the surf, etc., where this could’ve happened!!! He always liked to push the envelope!!! Thank goodness and Heavenly Father we/he didn’t get stuck!!!! Thank you again! have you found the gospel of Jesus Christ!?! ❤🤟🙏🌎😇🪴🤗🥰👍😊🚚🛻🚛
Dustin, yep that came out real good, that’s great, good job for all.
Definitely expected it to fight a little more.
So proud of your work knowledge and know how Dustan. Stuff ups happen when called out sometimes. I do miss your beach recoveries as well. That ram looked awfully heavy too. Stay safe and see you on the next one 😊
I am the only one that thinks this Ram is or will be totaled out from the salt water, maybe the insurance company wont be involved but that salt water will ruin any electrical connectors, and rust out the frame over time. Brake lines rust the frame from the inside out. Driver is not too bright.
Massive kudos to you. You know you’re towing. The jeep people would have hell of a time getting the truck out without you.
Great vid Dustin, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Nice job! I was like 😱 when you drove the rollback onto the beach 😂 poor dodge dually. Was a nice truck. That ride was coming in, perfect time for casting some line.
I could tell the sand was hard. I’ve spent more time on that beach than most people have spent on the pavement lol
Another great recovery. I would be nervous driving that rollback on a beach.
I knew that water when I saw the thumbnail. Though it was actually Galveston. Great job.
Many many moons ago on Padre Island a guy got his Ford with a cab over camper stuck at the water line. Two tow trucks couldn't get it and the tide was coming in so everyone had to leave till morning when the tide went back out. All you could see sticking above the sand the next morning was the top 4 inches of the camper. The whole truck went down and took forever to get out.
The clarity of the camera is amazing!!!!!,🤫🫢🔴
Oh boy the Chevy Ford and jeep guys are gonna love this one 😁
Nicely done. What is shame just, it's time to rebuild the Dodge? I remember I got stuck left. My dad's house in Galveston went to Bolivar island nearly got stuck there in my Toyota 4 runner. Luckily I got out before the water came in
Dustin: You showed great leadership amongst your JEEP friends, and gotbthat BIG DODGE off the beach in a timely fashion. Great contribution to your community.
Not a real Dodge.
Good Job! Southwest Germany waving a Hand 💯👍🙋♂
Although you didn't get the towing job it was still great content with your knowledge and skills. Great video! 👍
Thanks for watching!
Remember not all of the cars at the auction are junk. But all the junk cars are at the auction.
Wise words lol
Also the shady dealerships and private sales. You can find junk cars anywhere. So it's pretty much wise to treat any used car purchase as a possible trick.
Lol that actually made me happy, I have the same winch as the lady’s and there’s not alot of videos on them so it’s cool to know they aren’t horrible. I do notice with mine though if your not pulling straight forward ot spools horribly
That’s any winch. Easy to pile up on one side if you’re not square with the casualty.
Moral of the story, a truck is not a boat
.....and a boat is not a truck.
AND pay attention to the tide!
Jeep Wranglers are very light vehicles. Being light makes it difficult to establish a firm grip with the surface it's riding on. Trying to pull the Dodge truck from a 90 degree angle is fruitless, especially on sand. The best course of action was to pull straight ahead which is why the winch worked so well. Lastly, Yanking vehicles like "William" was trying to do is a no no.
You have the right idea, but only partially right.
Everyones standin around shootin video of the situation but what I noticed was that the Stegodon winch with a nylon rope on the jeep worked pretty well with the other winch on the other jeep . THATS what my video would be of if I were there. Even if the other winch was a Stegodon, for all those folk who claim they have the Biggest ,best, most expensive winch? Well there you go ! Stegodons are really a great winch plus they have some really nice remote control features. The Stegodon pulls faster and has a remote control that works far beyond 15'. (like60').
All ya'll standing in the snap back zone ‼️⚠️🛑
Truck will make nice lawn art. Can use the bed as a flower planter.
Let's bring a 7000lbs truck to the beach that is not even meant for mid-level off-roading. Well, he got a 7000lbs paper weight now with all that salt. Let's not forget to mention the people standing around the cable-snapping zone. All the people at that beach (not including Dustin) must add up to less than 100.
Hope you got paid still. They wouldn’t have gotten out w/o you! Nice work D!
Dodge Ram 3500 Amphibious Vehicle - Dive, Drive, Tow; you choose!
The RAM is already rotted out from the salt.
No market value left.
Hey, Dustin, John from Mike’s Machine Works, just found your channel, cool video! Man, that could have gone bad in a hurry. Having grown up down here on the coast, seen many of these. The key is time, If you wait too long, the sand grabs on and then nothing short of digging it out will work. I’ve seen trucks stuck out there and just slowly disappear! Top notch work, have a good day. 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
That was a good ole 4th gen Ram. Unfortunate loss.
Love and respect for all roadside assistants including myself
Folks like the Ram 3500 owner is WHY we all are having to pay high insurance rates
I was thinking the same thing and saw your comment.
We love Surfside. Such a nice small town with decent beaches.
Same. I always enjoy going out there.
Real men of genius
thanks now that tune will be stuck in my head for days 🎵

Nice salt water for that frame. Thanks for the video.
It’s going to rot from the inside out now lol
@@Towtruck_Dustin For sure! Poor guy.
Very Good Video Watch. Professional Tow Trucker read situation & worked w/all involved to help in quick just in time recovery.
2 wheel drive, you're gonna get stuck. 4 wheel drive..now you're REALLY gonna get stuck.
Excellent video Dustin! Hope you still got paid.
Sometimes it’s not about the money. I’m in this line of work because I love what I do, and enjoy helping people. I do make a fairly decent living, but that’s just a bonus.
That defiantly was a chump move at the end. You were the only one that was sure how to get that one of there safely and use the equipment available to it’s fullest. Then he stiffs you on payment. Some people just have no respect.
Yeah, that was not cool.
That was a good One 😮 almost lost it 💪🙏👍
Thanks for watching!
Salt and sand in the engine block? Don't all Stellantis vehicles come this way lol.
I like surfside, nice little town, stayed right there at that hotel
That truck is toast!
I watch your videos from Argentina
Wow! Thanks for watching! Glad you’re enjoying the content!
Boiled shrimp, shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp, coconut shrimp…
💀💀💀💀💀💀 buddy thought he was whistlin diesel and found out
Underrated comment
😂😂😂
You sure that Cody wasn't driving?
💀😂💀😂
I love watching that crazy guys videos 😂
Amazing how easy it is for some people to ruin a vehicle.
Never step over a winch cable line under pressure if you like your.junk not.to be cut off im telling ya
Now take the truck straight to the dealership and tell them 'I don't what happened, it just quit'
What was he doing back in the water
Fun recovery right there.
Boats ramps and the ocean. The best way to get the insurance to pay for your truck when you realize you don't have this month's truck payment😂
Crazy how high the water is. It was that way back in September when I took my nephew to Corpus. I was hoping to let him drive on the beach but it was too sketchy, so we went to lighthouse lakes and did some donuts.
I put a winch on my Jeep but don’t know how to use it? Keep the grocery getters off the beach.
It put a winch on my utv and don’t know how to use it, cry about it.
@ go find your husband
@@DoctorMummy funny you saying it with your user.
who tf takes a diesel dually into the sand let alone the water. on street tires too lmao
This guy did lol
Great video!!!! Awesome to see you wearing your LaCrosse rubberboots!!!!
Kind regards from The Netherlands. :)
Looks like tide came in high. Maybe that truck would make a good reef if empty of gas and oil and a little farther out!
It can also be a warning to other cars not to drive on the beach Like when they put those crashed cars out as a PSA against drunk driving. This can happen to you!!
Thanks Brother!!!
Team Work!!!
Never be anywhere near where the water meets the sand. If you've ever stood in the sand where the water washes over your feet - you'll feel the sinking and the suction. You don't want to test your vehicle this way unless you have balloon tires that are like over 35" and a 2 foot lift.
This reminds me of a guy I once knew with a classic Mercedes, who decided to drive it along the beach at low tide. I don't remember if he was tore up or what was the reason, but the car was left on the beach, the tide rushed in, and the car was history. He reported it to the police as being stolen, and actually laughed about the whole sordid affair. By the way, his family owned one of the insurance agencies in town.
4 wheel drive doesn’t mean you can drive anywhere!!
You can go anywhere, you just cannot return
Loved this one dustin and good how you all worked together, can I ask as you apparently weren't even needed does anyone pay for you having to turn up or not?thanks
In this case, I didn’t charge because of the misunderstanding wasn’t on him. He didn’t directly call us.
@Towtruck_Dustin builds huge good will too. Great seeing everybody working together.
Giving a week rust will show every where
Give it a few days lol
What kind of scanner/radio do you have in the truck? I always hear the police traffic in your videos.
Unication G4.
What does J-E-E-P stand for? Just Empty Every Pocket! But really ive always wanted one.
Saved an 80+k vehicle. 🤷♀️
thats exactly what it means! I just got my first Jeep and spent all my extra cash on it. Now im workin hard on spending more. Its so fun tho! Get you one! I dont drive mine daily but when I walk out to my driveway, it makes me smile.
A Jeep is like a boat…the happiest time in your life is when you buy it, the 2nd is when you sell it!
How did the truck get so far out there ?
What's that big truck even doing out there in first place?
Showing off
@@KevinPerry-wi5dw guess that didnt work out too well. Only thing showing off as jeeps and their winching capabilities lol
The general public don’t understand how to drive on the beach. They get caught up having fun and don’t realize what’s going on till it’s too late.
So they had two jeeps with winches and all the resources needed to get it out but they still call for a tow truck? Lame
These idiots are classic city slickers. They didn't even know how to operate their own equipment. More money than brains.
If you paid attention they shut the truck off "because they didn't wanna risk sucking water in so they wanted to tow it without starting it .
@@noodlesoup9what's the point? That truck is scrap now
@@carolinaraeper my point is, the truck is submerged in salt water. It's scrap regardless.
people see a jeep and get so salty in the comments lmao they get even salty when a jeep uses a winch to recover someone. People are so miserable in the comment section.
This brings back memories several years ago in Daytona Beach You could park on the beach very close to the water and people didn't realize the tide would come up every week in the paper they'll be pictures of cars with water almost to the roof I had an old 1960 Willy's Jeep pickup and I pull people out all the time
Around 1:30 mark. What brand of hand held radio do you use?
Who’s the u-boat commander???
Dude was probably upside down on his loan and behind on his payments. Let's go truck surfin'
great video
Thank You!

Was with a friend of mine on Lower Pismo Beach in a 79 Dodge half ton 440 four-wheel drive the ocean ate him
How did he get his pickup truck way in the H20
So he went out there just to show them how to use their winches lol
Ya and the lady doesn't even know how to fucking use it 😂

I’m gunna have to start saying that now 😂
its now a parts truck engine and electrical stuff is probably shot now
Excellent job again
I never take my dually off the pavement, and I'm 4x4. Tow pigs will get stuck in their own shadow.
