The Jas 39 Gripen is the best Multi role fighter in the World, it's really a Gen 5 Fighter coming in a Wide range of versions perfect for the Kashmir region where it can take off from a regular Tarmac Road with a service crew of 5 only.
Because of the Gripen's capability of dispersed operations from non conventional airstrips, ergo: 12 to 15 m. wide straight roads of 1.5 km in length or less; it would provide the IAF with fantastic flexibility to face either Pakistani or Chinese opponents on their own terms. With average turnaround times of 20-40 minutes, air or ground attack configuration, time on patrols/targets are greatly increased, this additional time in the air could prove a huge tactical/strategic advantage over adversaries requiring much longer ferry times to reach their bases in order to refuel & rearm. With some preparation and adjustments to SOPs, India could not only patrol but, maintain pressure if necessary at will along their frontier regions! The Gripens are nimble and hard hitting, they would be the perfect complement to the IAF overall force projection objectives!
Yes, we even made a video exactly about Gripen capabilities to operate dispersedly. You can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/GWZKUpsYs7w/видео.html
When you think about how UK and US companies scaled up production during WW2, you must wonder why these days productions scaling is a problem. Yes, these airplaines are more complicated, and the WW2 planes had problems and malfunctionings due to production haste. Still, the real problem today can not be upscaling, but sharing technology, cost of producing new factories. In the modern management industry leaders tend to think that expertise can be bought, but expertise is something you need to build up.
@@Magnus-v9x :: I really hope so. My comment is supposing that stopping the Russian occupation of Ukraine would prevent WW3 same way as a stop to Adolf's occupation of Sudetenland (border Czechia) could have stopped WW2. Or, say, if UK and France had gathered forces and produced an air defense then 1940 bombardments of London would not have been possible, you know, we forget how many British citizens, civilians, were murdered during the first part of WW2.
@@donaldaxel Yes,but most western nations already have the Infrastructure, some a highly developed defence industry like my Country of Sweden.Car manufacturors and Shipyards could be converted to Arms factories within a year just like during WWII. If the War stays conventional of course which is no guarentee.
The most cost effective multi role fighter in the world 👍🏻
The World wake up for SAAB!❤

You would see a whole different Ballgame if we were at War,I'm sure we still can do WWII manufacturing if we were under pressure.
