Right......evap is completely seperate from egr system......no relation. That egr valve re-i introduces air back into the intake, ......the codes p0498 and p0135 are in relation to fuel system. Normally the evap canister vent shut valve fails causing these codes., so it is not recommended to ever spray anything in the the egr valve unless it's like a map, or maf sensor spray cleaner which is not harmful to sensors.👍
Hey Frankie, I have p0498 and p0135 on my car since I got Involved in a minor fender bender, I noticed now that my car eats up more gas than usual. Do you happen to know how I can fix this? Thank you!
@@mitchellpressey468 hey so I doubt you still need this info bro but check the engine fuse box and check to see if fuse 11. 15A-FI fuse is blown this may be the culprit
Yeah thanks RUclips for hiding dislikes. This video just wastes people’s time. Egr has nothing to do with those codes.
Thanks for make this beautiful video 🙏🏻
Nice job and explanation. Thanks
Those codes for my Honda came on because the oxygen sensor relay was bad.
Just cleaned my EGr valve but the check engine light is still showing. What do you advise that I do?
Did you find problem ?
What will be the reason for this to trigger p0498 if that’s EVAP and this is EGR

Some of these videos are just quick way to get misinformed and possibly spend money on parts you dont need. Bad trouble shooting
