In this video we are going to clean carbon buildup from EGR valve and EGR pipe on 7th generation pre-facelift Honda Accord 2005 with 2.2 liter i-CTDi diesel engine (N22A 140HP 103KW). EGR makes exhaust gas cleaner, but the engine dirtier. These deposits eventually develop into a black layer of soot, which can lead to various engine problems. Some symptoms of failing EGR valve are: vehicle produces more emissions, increased fuel consumption, engine warning light are more.
