I know that these are mainly for business but if one of these amazing cycles could be made to be a pedal camping vehicle would be great. By having it where the rear box's central inside is a sleeping area. One of the sides opens so canput your clothes and gear inside of it. The other side opens up and becomes a covered area to sit underneath during the times you stop and rest or camp.
@@spankyjeffro5320 Same idea here. I already have some planings. I build a root top tent for my car, you can see on my chanel, but I would like to travel without the need of fuel.
@@PatWallaby Hi Pat. A rooftop tent (the foldable type, like on landrovers, with the ladder) on top of the container was an idea that immediately came to mind. Far simpler than converting the (shortish) container itself into a sleeping area. The container could be outfitted with a pop-out kitchen you see in campers/vans. Or a sauna, or whatever one fancies. Main issue would be the added weight I reckon.
I wish Pling would set up shop in Brighton. One great advantage with the Armadillo is that it would be so good for getting close to where it needs to be such as down back alleys and along these very narrow streets we have in Brighton called twittens. Yes, the semi-trailer one is the coolest thing ever! Lovely views of Gothenburg thank you.

It depends on state laws. It would be legal in my state as long as you have liability insurance and don't drive it on streets with a speed limit of 35 MPH or more. That means you must stay on residential streets, and they don't always connect in a complete grid. In other words, they are legal here, but may not be completely practicable because of the limitations on streets you can use.
State, county, and city trails have restrictions in Gainesville FL. I do not think anyone would stop you as an individual citizen. However I'm trying to be proactive in obtaining amendments so that e-assist quads could use them for business deliveries too. Their is a rail trail system in our city that would make an excellent backbone for deliveries in downtown if e-assist were legal. The problem is simply that once you start doing something for profit people look more carefully at you and your vehicle.
Its on the trails and here they are restricted by state law plus city and county ordinance. Which is unfortunate because if you look up Gainesville FL history you will see that the city developed because of railroads and now all of those lines have been converted to rail trails which you can imagine create a nice spine for delivery routes in downtown/old town.
Hallo Mate , Did you by any chance get veiw answer for me about this ARMADILLO from my last message I sent to you ? Hope your having awesome weekend and relaxing :-) Thanks John :-)

Time to put a dirt bike in the back of one of these
Hello, where can I sell this kind of car?
Trailer version is definitely the one for the camper version. With a few of those big batteries it would be great on long tours.
Deliveries is great on flat ground . With human power+ a motor, is it able to pull the weight of all the packages up the hills ? LOL
Id love an articulate armadillo for camping or just day to day use 👍

Imported to the U.S?
Apparently not at the moment due to US law.
I think four wheeler's are allowed in some states but not with e-assist.

@@deezynar so the state ensures that you have to drive to deliver big loads?
If only they were legal in the US. I'm working with my local county government just to allow e-assist trikes on bike trails.
Unless state law specifies otherwise they should be legal. Public trail use is usually more restricted.
Nobody will stop you riding a trike with electric assist on the bike paths in Tucson, Arizona.

These things are just waiting for a canopy and windshield....
Apparently they will be produced in 1-2 years.
Yes, my first thought was that they need an aerodynamic front end to reduce drag, and provide protection from the weather.
