    I picked up a RX 5700 XT used for $144, good deal... Was cleaned thoroughly with new thermal pads and thermal paste🔥

      I did the same "reconditioning" on my 5700 XT to keep the thermals in check.
      This card has enough grunt to still be relevant in 1080p gaming.

      I know i am not from the USA but i picked up a very good used RX 5700 XT for only £95/$122 in the UK and it was the best deal i could find. it is a great card for 1440p with up-scaling and i upgraded from a gtx 1050 TI

      if you play 2023 or older titles then its a goated gpu but now it starts to struggle a bit with newer ue5 games like ark acendent where at 1080p medieum it gives a solid 55fps while the 3060 gives 60 to 65 and that with the extra ultra textures it's due to it needing some lvl of rt

      @@malik-mahdi ue5 is very unoptimised and a bad engine, yes it looks great and that but a 4090 can't do 4k on this engine and that's just outright bad

    I understand why you daily drive a Arc 750 now, it is suprisingly good for even 1440p gaming with XeSS.

      It's also due to Intel also being able to ENcode AV1 whereas the competition can only DEcode it.
      Makes Intel cards a serious consideration for content creators.

    As someone who owns 3 Intel A750s (LE, Sparkle, and Bifrost), it's exciting to see this card shaping up to be a 1440p budget beast, thanks to the Arc drivers getting better and better. XeSS is amazing for games that support it, and surprised to see its Raytracing capabilities leaping over the AMD equivalent by quite a margin.
    I hope that Battlemage will also focus on efficiency than just pure rasterization. The A750's 40W idle power consumption ain't that great.

    • @oswaldjh
      @oswaldjh Месяц назад

      I'm also betting Battlemage will be a competitor.

    It should be noted that an ARC card needs to be in a PC that supports and has Rebar enabled, or the performance will take a large hit.

    I've just finally finished my build after 1 year of buying parts - managed to get a 3090 for £585 used.
    For around £200 you can get some great gpus currently as long as you look at cards such as 1080ti, 2080, 3060, 3080 12gb, any 4000 with 12gb or 16gb.
    Some are a bit more than £200 but if you look at both new and used cards, you can get some great purchases in the current market pricing wise.

    • @ProYamYamPC
      @ProYamYamPC  Месяц назад +1

      I fully agree with you mate. The $200 price point is solid for both new and used cards right now.

    You should add some background music (not that loud) as like an ambience to make your vids more engaging and break the background silence (i see a lot of other high level youtubers do this)
    Thanks for the vid btw :D

    Can confirm the Arc a750 kicks a lot of butt for the buck! Can't believe I scored one for the price that I did. Made an all Intel build and was really pleasantly surprised how XeSS turned out at 1440p

    Nice video. I would recommend changing the graph colors to make it easier to read/understand. Maybe two shades of red for amd (one shade for each resolution) and two shades of blue for intel

      100% the Intel GPU. It's encoding and decoding abilities are brilliant. It's also got an AV1 encoder where the RX 6600 does not.

    Really strange how in a few games the 1% low is significantly better on the a750 in 1440p vs 1080p. You wouldn’t think u would get better performance with 1% lows by going up to 1440p lol. Very interesting.

    There is not any one GPU. Ive picked up 3080s as low as $250, I picked up a 6800XT from a buddy for $150. I picked up an entire 9900K build with a 2070 for $100. Basically any GPU a generation old or more will probably be found at a smoking deal at some point if you watch

    I'm curious, does the Intel control panel have a custom color control temperature slider like the AMD Adrenalin software? I'm using an old HDTV for my PC monitor, and it's just way easier to calibrate a cooler or warmer temp on AMD, than it is on Nvidia's control panel. Nvidia's control panel for color calibration sucks.
