Ya know if you use a gear wrench on that bolt you won't have all that sloppy socket and ratchet wobbling. The tight tool is ALLWAYS more efficient and less damaging to your components or tool. Dandahermit😮
Should'nt rear sights go out from left to right, and installed from right to left? This is how I have installed rear sights in the past. Ameriglos installation instructions also says to install the rear sight from the right. This is the only manufacturer I have seen saying the oposite, and I find it strange that other people in the comment section pointing this out is getting mocked by EGW.
Hi @FunPrecision, thank you for your comment! The orientation for installing sights can vary between manufacturers and personal preferences. At EGW, we recommend installing the sight from left to right because our dovetails are machined with a slight taper, making installation smoother in that direction. AmeriGlo may have different recommendations based on their design, but rest assured, we’re not here to mock anyone! It’s all about what works best for the product and your setup. We’re always open to feedback, so thanks for sharing yours.
This looks like a great option to mount an optic on a gun that doesn't have an optic cut already, or one that you can't currently get an optic cut slide from the manufacturer. I recently bought a Stoeger STR-9 which is a great shooting and very inexpensive 9mm, and I'd love to put my Holosun optic on it, but I am having a hard time finding out what size dovetail the gun has. Do you have any information as to what is compatible with this gun? I do know it has a few parts that are very common to Glock (the entire trigger setup is straight out of a gen-3 Glock for example). Do you have any insight?
Just bought the Kimber Adjustable 49316 for my Kimber 9 micro Rapide. Does not fit the Holosun 507c do you haave the right plate for that firearm and or holosun?
Hi, thanks for contacting us. We don't make a red dot plate for that application. We do offer blank mounts though that are precut for specific footprints. You would need to have the bottom of the mount milled to match your slide by a machinist though. www.egwguns.com/pistol-and-red-dot-mounts/mounts-by-firearm-brand-sight-cut/?model=703
Kind of sad, a company that manufacturers sights and mounts doesn't have a competent individual that knows dovetails go out left to right and back in right to left.
Hi @OTTO_Man, Our Glock sights are meant to be installed from the left to the right. The dovetail has a progressive taper to allow for an easier install

My feeling exactly. What's with the fake lawyer

Was wondering if you would provide the link for the sight pusher? Thanks

Does the plate for the M&P have a set screw? I didn’t see it in your video
Yes, it does have a set screw. It will be offset on our plate and will not utilized the set screw hole in that is already present on your M&P

I need one for my sig 1911

Always have a rainbow colored red dot in California so the state won't ban it.

So you put the wrench on the side we were not supposed to. Very confusing.
Where did u get that neon logo sign in the back!?
Our sign was made in house on one of our laser machines and fitted with color changing LED strips

If I don't have a wrench like that, can I use a spanner on the vice?

Do you guys make mounts for Chiappa double badger
Hi, thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not make mounts for the Chiappa double badger.
Hello
Do you have any plate, that fits in Beretta 81fs.
Hi, thanks for contacting us, to the best of our knowledge, we do not have a mount that fits the Beretta 81fs.
How about you tell us to put the mount in the freezer to start with instead of at the end of the video.

Do you folks have a plate to fit a s&w 2206 slide? I would love to run a red dot on it. Thanks
