I think the way the cars have a timeline is they didn’t physically have times like the 1950s, they just woke up with their owners memories. Take Sarge, for example. His owner was a drill sergeant and so he woke up thinking he was a drill sergeant in the 20th Century.
WAIT A MINUTE! The color version of Earth (🌎) is marbled blue and green... Does that mean the primary emotions coloring humanity's perception of our home planet are sadness and disgust!? Actually, yeah, that totally makes sense.
He slightly discusses incredible 2 because he mentions Jack Jack being a monster which doesn't happen till the second movie I believe but he didn't expand on it very much
he doesn’t directly talk about incredibles 2 cause it’s a direct lead in from the first so it doesn’t really need to be mentioned. he talks about a bugs life at the end.
Pixar fans: all the movies are connected Pixar (probably): hey we still have these models of things from previous movies should we reuse them? Uh yeah just change colors or size or something
@@davechua3165 they actually already work together today. Disney Pixar is a collab with the two. However, most Disney characters are EXCLUSIVE to Disney. Same with Pixar, some of their characters are EXCLUSIVE to Pixar. But movies like Toy Story and other Disney Pixar movies have collaborated characters
Once battery company BnL had finally gotten that pesky Mr Fredrickson's house out of the way, they built a new robotics division based on found parts from Syndrome's robot wreckage there and designed products to pamper humans. One of these robots was "Pixar", a lamp designed to move and adjust independently. It served onboard the Axiom alongside the other robots and afterwards as people discovered memory power and evolved into monsters. It worked for "Monster's Incorporated" as a lamp in the simulation rooms, but when Mike and Sully switched the doors to fool Randall, Pixar entered Boo's real portal by mistake. Pixar realized this was real when the T.V. played an episode of "Woody's Roundup". When Boo left the room the next day, her toys came to life, and despite Sheriff Woody's concerns, welcomed Pixar as one of their own. Pixar is shocked at first, but then has a flashback to the scare simulations Pixar had participated in: the toys were powered by memory orbs from inside the humans. When Boo, growing up, started listening to Miguel Rivera's hit records, including old classics like "Remember Me" and new directions like "The Final Death", Pixar realized that just like the monsters had run out of fear, they would also run out of happiness when BnL eventually pampers humans into numbness. But inside Boo's head memories of Sully, Sheriff Woody, and her beloved old pickup truck Maytr all existed. Ever since the Axiom voyage, monsters, toys, and cars were all surviving off of old memories, which could run out. Pixar went on a mission to create permanent memories, and create a feedback loop to save the imaginary universe. One day Pixar the lamp explained everything to Boo by using it's projector feature. Boo was shocked at first, but she had always remembered her adventures with Sully, and she said she wished someone could go back in time and close the loop. Just then Boo's younger brother burst out laughing. It was Mike Wazowski, collecting laugh energy. Boo explained who she was and Mike brought her back to Monsters Inc, where she reunited with Sully. Pixar the Lamp stowed away on the Spirit of Adventure, the dog-operated dirigible which had been brought back from South America and was now hosting summer world trips for the Wilderness Explorers. During a stopover in Sidney, a dentist’s lamp broke and he borrowed Pixar. Pixar gave some escaping fish a push out the window, and in the commotion escaped back to the Spirit of Adventure, which continued the world tour. Back in Monster city, Boo explained she needed to sacrifice herself to go back and create a time loop to save the Universe's memories, so Sully and Mike activated a door to medieval Scotland, and said goodbye. The Spirit of Adventure eventually reached Paris, where a team of producers were talking about forming a new studio in the famous restaurant Gusteau's. Pixar the Lamp used Projector Mode to tell the producers the stories that should be remembered. They didn't believe in the robotic lamp at first, because the world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The next morning, after reading Anton Ego's review, they decided to form a studio because not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere.
he did start investigating it with a video about the Cars franchise, but that was in 2017 and he hasn't given any updates yet. Also, his theory surrounding Cars is so radically different and would be very complicated to try and fit into this specific version of the timeline.
you must be fairly young then if a list of pixar movies was your childhood. this list doesn't even put a dent in the animation that led to pixar and more from my childhood
Also when they go into the human world in Monsters inc the security is so high or law enforcement is high I have literally always wondered why now I now tis bc of illegal supers being hunted
Where the humans find out about what’s going to happen to them via time travel, so they team up to stop bio large, and they defeat them by using time travel again, to bring all of the characters in all the Pixar movies to help them stop BNL.
I would love it if PIXAR would turn this theory into a franchise videogame where we see certain character that could logically exist together, work together unlike KINGDOM HEARTS which as everyone all at once with Disney characters.
,,Rather than looking at just the single mind of a little girl, now we're looking at the collective memory of the entire country of Mexico." Just take this out of the context and you will die laughing.
Actually, Bugs Life can go in the same time frame as Ratatouille, because it shows animals getting smarter. Flick is inventing things to make harvesting easier, and the bugs have built entire cities, and the ants made an entire freaking bird! Also, humans have to be around, cause there's bug zappers, the Pizza Planet truck, Chinese food containers, etc. Not counting that small hiccup, great video. I also like my own comment. Edit: Thank You Everyone 4 The Likes!
Yeah but the pizza planet truck is rusted indicating much time has gone by, an ant says he feels like he's 100 again, indicating they have long lifespans and are not at risk of humans, and humans arent named as a threat when flick ventures out to the city.
I don't get why he skipped A Bug's Life. The point of theory is to interconnect all of the Pixar movie, but he just brushed that one off as not important. Even though he explained its importance in his first Pixar theory video.
I've got my own version of the timeline: Good Dinosaur: 65 Million BCE Brave: 10th century Incredibles 1&2 1968 Toy Story 1: 1996 Toy Story 2: 1998 Ratatouille: 2004 A Bugs Life: 2005 Finding Nemo: 2007 Toy Story 3: 2007 Toy Story 4: 2008 Finding Dory: 2008 Up: 2009 Inside Out: 2013 Coco: 2016 ------------------------------------------- *Humans leave in 2158* ------------------------------------------- Cars: 2376 AHL Cars 2: 2381 AHL Cars 3: 2389 AHL (AHL - After Humans Leave) ------------------------------------------- *Cars die due to lack of energy in 2432* ------------------------------------------- Wall-E: 2977 AHL ------------------------------------------- *Humans return and evolve* ------------------------------------------- Monsters University: 5197 AHE Monsters Inc. : 5205 AHE (AHE - After Humans Evolve) ------------------------------------------- I don't know if this is correct but, it's how I believe it goes down - I wouldn't take this as gospel because it could be wrong, I hope this could be close to correct though. Okay, bye.
J Squad Vlogs that’s what I was thinking. It kinda reminded me of December 2016 when we’d lost so many baby boomer celebrities that year and I saw a newspaper article that described Carrie Fisher as ‘the last and worst’ celebrity death of 2016. Worst maybe, but calling her the last celebrity death with three days left in the year was playing with FIRE.
I had to rewatch this 3 times to fully understand what he meant/what he was talking about. This theory is pretty insane, and I believe it’s true. Great video!
In response to the confusion regarding how "scaring is at an all time high, but energy is at an all time low", while I like how your response moves the pixar theory along, I think there is a more logical answer. Simply put, two people/monsters/employees cannot carry an entire company/society. While they themselves may be the top scarers of all time, it doesn't mean they alone can resolve the energy crisis. I still think your response is applicable, but I just wanted to call that out.
You missed the part where Boo is Violet, which explains her disappearing and reappearing when Sully looks for her and why when she gets older she has "magic".
I don't know which is funnier: That last minute mention of A Bug's Life at the end, or the fact that I didn't even notice it was missing until that point.

Onward is on another planet that a human ship crashed into, delivering the technological advancements. Many human technologies and companies are found there, aswell as the 2 mountains being the same outline as the axium
@@diepssuarez2676 that's kinda a genius idea. Maybe there was more than 1 ship sent out in wall-e which makes sense if they're getting the entire population off earth. Some ships just found other planets to settle on and maybe the environment or the constant radiation from being in space mutated them to resemble monsters. You could even extend this to the monster people coming back to earth and taking it over from the humans. Maybe they were desperate for more energy as well but accidentally killed off the humans. The monsters got desperate and had to figure something out
Love this Pixar Theory... but I have to show some love for "A Bug's Life". As you said yourself J, "A Bug's Life" was pretty excluded from this video since bugs probably coincide with the other Animals like fish and rats as being highly intelligent but overlooked by the rest of the world, thus that movie and its characters did not need much of an explanation to how they contribute to the Pixar Theory. However, did you guys see MatPat's Film Theory on "Cars"? In the video, he suggests that the characters in the Cars franchise aren't actually cars due to their biological traits (they have tongues and brains, and there are mini-bug-cars that have insect wings). He suggests that the cars' metallic bodies are basically exoskeletons, similar to what bugs have. So, to provide a potential addition to your theory, I think that the AI of the Pixar Universe's Robots had some sort of a partnership or relationship with the Animals (mainly the bugs of the world). They evolved together to create the world of Cars, so the characters of that franchise are part-machine and part-bugs, thus leading to sentient Robots like Wall-e and Eve to have more emotions and personalities rather than just impressive AI (thus the importance of "A Bug's Life" is that it may explain how cars and Robots grew emotions, which led to Wall-e and Eve falling in love, which led to the humans returning to Earth, which led to the mutations of humanity and Monsters Inc., which may have also been influenced by bugs since some monsters from that movie were insect-like, and the events in that movie led to Boo and "Brave" and time-travel and all that jazz). This connection would also make sense from the Bugs' perspective since, having higher intelligence like the other Animals, they may understand that they have an unequal amount of power/influence in the human-dominated world. So, when Robots are slowly rising in "power", the Bugs see a chance to secure their survival for the future by coexisting with the Robots through cars. In "A Bug's Life", you see Flik, Atta and their entire colony being fearful of being (literally and figuratively) walked-over by larger lifeforms, and struggling to prove their relevance to the world. Thus, by partnering with Robots, they subtly represent themselves to the entire planet. Lightning McQueen and Mater are basically the hybrid offspring of Pixar's Robots and Animals. To further support this theory, in the movie "Wall-e", the one living friend that Wall-e had before meeting Eve was his pet Roach; their relationship possibly representing the partnership between Pixar's Robots and Animals.
I just realize something. At the end of Cars, Everyone is going to the drive-in to watch the car versions of Toy Story, Monsters Inc., and A Bug’s Life. What if the latter two take place later in the Pixar timeline, did the filmmakers of those Car versions pretty much predict the Pixar future?
Well toy story 4 would be just another example of human energy needed to give life to a inanimate object. So really it wouldnt have too much of an impact. If ur lookin for an imapct. We need a brand new movie idea not a sequel
SRGT Bloodshot it's not, bc apparently some of the easter eggs are troubling in here. You can see bob (incredibles) in the film, boo in the film, and several others that could throw off the timeline. Also some up stuff in there
Deyanira Nunez what I mean is that we need to make sure toy story 4 abides by the contingencies established in the prior theory. There are some things in it that seem to disturb the current Pixar theory so it needs to be fit in again or else the entire theory is invalid and falls a part. (Or take toy story out of the theory)
Hey supercarlinbrothers i wanted to say that the one thing that makes me think Syndrome made BnL is the fact that The movies "WALLE" and "THE INCREDIBLES" Share 1 specific weapon which is the laser the freezes objects that syndrome used on the incredibles.. BUT! its also used in walle for the security robots of the axiom!
What if the Witch/Boo continued with her 'magic'? I mean she gives Merida potion to turn her mom into a bear but it comes with a few conditions.. what if she perfected that potion? So humans didn't necessarily evolve, but rather the monsters were created. Basically, what if Boo went on to create the monsters that she was desperately trying to find for so many years...
Btw the reason why theres an energy shortage in Monsters Inc is probably because it takes a ton of energy to use time travel. So yeah they may be breaking records but does that really matter when you use half the energy to even get the scares?
Ya know, I had always assumed that WALL-E was the final chronological movie and that the end credits showed the rebuilding of human society alongside peaceful and helpful machines. Now that I have been told that those humans mutated into monsters who have an energy crisis all over again is actually really sad...
@@morganewing3399 Well, if you've seen monsters university there was a scene where they had scare cards about all the best scarers and there were multiple of them, and back then they didn't have an energy shortage. So maybe there isn't as many good scarers now. Idk just a theory :)

He slightly discusses incredible 2 because he mentions Jack Jack being a monster which doesn't happen till the second movie I believe but he didn't expand on it very much
True
he doesn’t directly talk about incredibles 2 cause it’s a direct lead in from the first so it doesn’t really need to be mentioned. he talks about a bugs life at the end.
And Monsters University :/
And Big Hero 6.
Maybe this was why Joe was afraid of going to the Great Beyond. He thought that he did nothing to keep him remembered.

@@PleasantlyEmpathic9924 I’m thinking way too much about this.

Onward is on another planet that a human ship crashed into, delivering the technological advancements. Many human technologies and companies are found there, aswell as the 2 mountains being the same outline as the axium

@Autumn Dye Xd wym it’s not right none of us are right it’s a theory
They evolved together to create the world of Cars, so the characters of that franchise are part-machine and part-bugs, thus leading to sentient Robots like Wall-e and Eve to have more emotions and personalities rather than just impressive AI
(thus the importance of "A Bug's Life" is that it may explain how cars and Robots grew emotions, which led to Wall-e and Eve falling in love, which led to the humans returning to Earth, which led to the mutations of humanity and Monsters Inc., which may have also been influenced by bugs since some monsters from that movie were insect-like, and the events in that movie led to Boo and "Brave" and time-travel and all that jazz).

Now we need to add Toy Story 4 and Onward to the Pixar Theory.
Well toy story 4 would be just another example of human energy needed to give life to a inanimate object. So really it wouldnt have too much of an impact. If ur lookin for an imapct. We need a brand new movie idea not a sequel
My name is Ian and I am offended.
SRGT Bloodshot it's not, bc apparently some of the easter eggs are troubling in here. You can see bob (incredibles) in the film, boo in the film, and several others that could throw off the timeline. Also some up stuff in there
toy story is already part of the theory just because its toy story "4" doesn't mean its not already part of it. but yes for onward
