Thank you so much for your videos. It has been about 35 years since I worked on my tapestry loom and I would like to get started weaving again. Your instructions are so great. I find I do much better when I can see things being done rather than just reading about how to do them. You have another new subscriber in me.
Caroline, these are terrific videos! I bought my Cactus Flower Loom about a year ago and have loved it, but feel like I will be more confident in using it now with this instruction. I also want to put in a plug - unsolicited! - for your book. It's been invaluable.
I am enjoying your videos about weaving on the Cactus Flower Loom but do have a question. I would love to know how you stitch up the sides of the bags and cell phone bags, it doesn't look like a whip stitch. Would you elaborate and perhaps a video if you can? Thank you.
I use a blanket stitch to sew the sides up. I'll do a video when I have a weaving to finish! In the meantime, here's a video on how to do the stitch: ruclips.net/video/S9zegUYdPmg/видео.html
PS. First I fold it like it will look finished and then press it. Then I blanket stitch the sides. The knots at the 4 corners - I retire them together at each edge.
@carolinespurgeon6016 😎 thanks I rewatch the video I got it, is the spacing there so the back bar can slide to open...I didn't make much space and I'm working on a wood frame about 8x15 with small bars
I've been watching your videos and you are an excellent teacher. I have no experience with weaving but you make it understandable. Thank you.
You are so welcome!

Thank you, Caroline, appreciate the RUclips and quick reply.
@@carolinespurgeon6016 Thanks, will do that when I get one finished.
Would be nice to see some videos of patterns you have in your book ..
I'll add that to my list. I'm making them as fast as I can!
@@carolinespurgeon6016 good
how does it work?
It brings the opposite shed open so you don’t have to open it by picking across.

@carolinespurgeon6016 this way saves my wrist, given the small space, this helps. My shuttle is a popsicle stick 3 pieces. Thank you
