I like how you share options and how you achieve a way to get results yes Kent shared Richard's way to achieve whites,as you no I'm going onto some Italian line infantry,I'm going to try it out and see the results kent did say its definitely best Wayne has achieved his whites, sharing our knowledge with each other is a great way to grow the community you are a great artist,I could go on there are so many well thankyou for sharing john lovely looking figures
Beautifully painted, as always John. Makes that lengthy assembly process worth it?! Brilliant colour hints & tips, which, as you know, I always appreciate & reference to Richard Abbott’s site, another great resource. Big thumbs up from me. Thanks. Chris
So glad that you found the video useful Chris. I think for the time spent on assembly - which for me was a slooooow process - I would go for one piece metal castings in future so I could get down to painting quicker. 😄Take care, John
@markbraniff4275 Thanks 😊 I believe there is some information in my earlier videos on my process for painting faces and skin. I use mostly Scale75 flesh tones.
@RBARGS64 Thanks Rob. Shakos were AK smoke black, washed, and highlighted I 🤔 Either that or I used German Grey. Just added something to lighten it up a bit for final highlights. Sorry, sounds a bit vague. 😬 Shako plates painted using Scale Colour Black Gold.

Just my thing ATM, John. Hopefully you have watched, read, or are watching “Sharpes War” 👋👍
No, I seen a few Sharpe episodes in the past though 🙂I've read a bit on the Peninsular War, my favourite setting of the Napoleonic wars.

@markbraniff4275 Thanks 😊 I believe there is some information in my earlier videos on my process for painting faces and skin. I use mostly Scale75 flesh tones.
