Wish we could say the same about some other shows out there.
It was still better than a Neil Breen flick.
Mark and the Monogamous Mosquito gets axed, but Breen gets to keep making movies.
That segment was spot-frigging-on. It was like the episode of "Step by Step" I never knew I always wanted... Brilliant work as always, my man!

I love that Tammy's dad calls the cops when the window is trashed, but not when violent thugs burst into his home and attack a guy who is later found murdered.

He's got the perfect voice, mannerisms and facial expressions, and just the right dryness that he isn't overselling it.
Separate phone lines were actually a thing in the 90s, especially for teenage girls who were on the phone basically all evening.
Totally forgot about this cinematic gem. When there's a fight that involves the elusive 'double ball grab', it's referred to as the, "Greedy Eagle".

I saw this with friends in our bad movie night and can confirm the "gore cut" (not abridged for TV) is the only way to see it. Not for the gore but because the gore scenes also contain some plot explanations. Removing them takes an already ridiculous plot and turns it utterly indecipherable.

I love that the dinosaur hands aren't even remotely close to connected to the body. Like, have they ever seen a t-rex before? Not exactly known for their long and highly articulated arms.
Speaking of that ending, it addresses the eternal philosophical puzzle of whether or not one could have blue balls if one did not possess balls. Great review as always, Mark.

This movie is so silly, everybody knows when removing the top of somebody's skull you use a circular saw. Using a jigsaw took me right out of movie.

@@raafmaat nope... Regular ol phones. We didn't have any special features or calling plans. We didn't even have call waiting! The call actually routed like any other phone call through the switch, hence why you had to hang up after dialing or you'd just get your own busy signal. No extensions or other special devices needed.

This movie has a lot of “hey, I recognize this person from something else” in it. Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite appears as a pizza delivery guy, the evil doctor is Bernie from Weekend at Bernie’s, the cop with the nasty teeth was in a plethora of films.

Thank you, Mark, for yet another treat to all trash movie lovers out there. You have to feel bad for people who can't understand the concept of a "good bad movie", let alone enjoy it. They have NO idea what they're missing and this movie is a perfect example. Horribly hilarious, trashy, outrageous, and funny as hell, this was another perfect choice for this ever entertaining channel. (Fun fact: for a couple of years in the early 90's, following Wes Craven's "The People Under the Stairs", I developed a bizarre crush on Sean Whalen - the toothy guy who wants Walker killed - so that was enough reason for me to watch this movie).
Were either of them in Last House on the Left??
@@MansLaughter365 Wes Craven directed the original "Last House" in 1972 and was one of the producers in the remake. Sean Whalen was in neither version. Not sure if this answers your question, tough. ;)

HUGE Craven fan here, especially his 70's work, where that crass style you mention is in full bloom: "Last House" for sure, but especially "The Hills Have Eyes", which is probably my favorite of his. I avoided the remakes like the plague, though; horror remakes (most remakes, to be honest) are always a letdown and usually an insult to the original films.
