Puerto Escondido has really been popping off the past year. Hopefully it doesn't become too touristy!
It will, I have never been to Mexico I know nothing about Mexico, but even I know Cancun, Tulum and Puerto Escondido. So soon people like me will start to travel there. It’s just too famous by now.
Puerto Escondido is a Surfer town now becoming a Gastronomy hub with amazing vibe and sunsets. Can't wait to go back 🏖️♥️♥️

Just watched your both blog videos on South of France and Copenhagen. Quite frankly, I am very impressed the way you describe how you felt being at Zicatela. Specifically, you mentioned the amount of space and the beauty of it. Certainly, it is a BIG difference looking at the beaches, and the beach club, you stayed at in France. Lastly, I recognize you are a super cosmopolitan person and highly respect your opinion because of it. Used to go to Puerto Escondido while I was a teenager for surfing. And, puerto has always being a gem place.

Yep, México is much more :) Ixtapa Zihuatanejo (my town), Acapulco, Huatulco (near Puerto Escondido),Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, La Paz, Los Cabos, Veracruz, Punta Mita, Manzanillo, Puerto Peñasco...and this is just beach towns (not mentioning the caribbean beaches), there are a lot of Pueblos Mágicos like Taxco, San Miguel de Allende, Ajijic. Papantla...(there are 132) and big cities like CDMX, Guadalajara, Puebla, Morelia, Queretaro, Guanajuato...
Hey :) How is Acapulco in terms of safety? It looks really nice but I heard the crimes got a lot worse in the last couple years. Do think it‘s worth going there as a foreigner?

Amazing video! We loved our time in Puerto and if we came back we would probably stay in La Punta - the vibes there are so cool! We actually participated in the release of baby turtles in playa Bacocho and it was the most wholesome experience ever 😍

I love it. It's beautiful there, the food looks good, and it still looks like a normal place that's not totally setup for tourism. Thanks for this video! I'm way more interested in Mexico from watching you vids. I still LOVE Thailand, but when I'm visiting US family maybe now I have a before or after escape location ;).
if you have a chance go to Almoloya is a tiny village near Lagunas you can explore the magic town,culture,food & the locals are very nice.

I've been in Tulum for a few weeks, doing a couple weeks on Isla Mujeres, then I am in Puerto Escondido for about 45 days and then Puerto Vallarta a couple weeks, and then back to Canada for the Summer. Looking forward to PE!

You have to go to Veracruz, the culture and food is astonish, best seefood in Mexico. Jarocho culture is unique on the world.

Thanks for your reports. I like the West Coast beaches and Huatulco is a favorite; however, Porto Vallarta is cooler than that area due to cloud cover and rain.

Hey Kaj, I'm in Thailand but I agree, Puerto Escondido looks like magic. (Pattaya....no comparison) Ever think you will go to Ecuador? I went there in the mid 70's and it was beyond words. There have been many changes, but....I want to go back some day for sure. Thanks for the vid, Thailand Paul

Im planning on travelling central and South America at the end of this year or in the new year and plan on going to Ecuador at some point. Obviously there have been changes since the 70s, but what things did you do there and what do you recommend based on your experience?
Hey Ceasarillion, I own some land in Ecuador on the beach at Mirador San Jose, right now I'm doing 3 months of Tulum, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Escondido and Puerto Vallarta, and I was thinking of going to Thailand next winter.. Would you recommend Pattaya? Or other places like Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui? (or other)

@@nicolascas2380 Mexico is muuuch more varied, although Thailand is fantastic, Mexico is Megadiverse with 4 tine zones, 11,000 kms of tropical seas both in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans AND the Caribbean. Just to show how imppresive Mexico is, it has 30,000 years of recorded human history, 37 UNESCO sites, and 67 native languagea.

I've been to around 50 cities/towns in Mexico and I wouldn't even put Puerto Escondido on the top 30.
