    Finally someone is talking about it !!! I have been tracking few stores since last year. They only have 1-2 sentences in their titles and 8 keywords used in total in each of their listings. Guess what they made 35.000 sales just in 4 months. Seo is not as important as people think, that is the truth.

      B-b-but Etsy gurus like Starla Moore and friends keep emphasizing Etsy SEO! Oh, and "check your titles and tags"!!!!! Lol

      Please remember the Power of social media: the store owner can drive traffic from Instagram or RUclips. And also there are some stores, who are paying 1000 Dollar a Day or More to get that sales.

    You are 100% on point I have maintained a conversion rate of 3 months over my first 3 months and etsy sent more and more traffic. 40 visits per day, then 90 then 130 and so on.

    So say, there is a holiday specific product. What do you do with that listing after the holiday is over? Cos one also puts the link in pinterest etc.

      I don’t turn them off, but I do turn off the advertisement, obviously. And I just put them in the back of my store, towards the bottom.

    Do you actually know what happens if u opened a store with some products and u couldnt sale anything, so u change u products is it better to create a new account or is the algorithm calculate everything from scratch?

    @thetalkshop What do you think about pinterest? Does pinning from Etsy to group boards or using fb and instagram hurt the conversion & sales rate?

    • @thetalkshop
      @thetalkshop  Год назад

      My conspiracy is yes, because I saw a dip in my conversion rate in sales when my videos are released on RUclips (with 1.6 million views) but theoretically conversion rate is only from customers that use the search bar, so in theory it should not hurt it
