one of brilliant movies from black and white classics really enjoyed it splendid suspense clean movie liked it very much thank you for the upload great story great movie👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.
This was a great who-done-it murder mystery with Warren William at his best. Love these old black and white movies over what is produced today. A bit of comedy mixed in with a bit suspense and the Lone Wolf solves it again. Joe S
MISS Marguerite Chapman was one of my favorites from a very long time ago. I thought she was hot stuff even when I was in Junior High School back in the mid 1950's.
This edition from this great movie series is number 10 of 15. Warren William/Eric Blore combination was the most lively and entertaining of the series!!
Gone are the days of sleek looking slant back autos with whitewalls, gals in sequined gowns for no reason with furs parading around a murdered guy. Love the old Hollywood jive.
We could STILL have all those things. But Hollyweird has pandered to Political Correctness and the 'woke' mentality. Furs are no longer 'in fashion', never mind that they're still a viable article of ladies' wear. As for the nice cars, we've been driving junk for decades now, and it's getting worse all the time. Plastic cowlings instead of real bumpers. Smaller paper-thin bodies designed to rust out. Complex circuitry and computers rather than simple wiring. And now we're being ordered to switch to EV's and try not to run out of charge on the road.
Thank you for this movie. I like these warren William movies. Especially the murder clue club ones such as warren William playing philo Vance in the dragon murder case. 👍👍
First rate...great fun and E. Blore is truly excellent. Finest comedic butler the cinema ever presented. Ever! Hope there are more Lone Wolfe's coming!
Somebody did the world a favor by eliminating a blackmailer. The lowest life form! (Only kidding) Cannibals might be worse So this movie begins on the upbeat
Brilliant as expected. The Warren William / Eric Blore version of the 'Lone Wolf' series always was my favorite. Thank you ever so much for the upload!
Can't possibly go wrong with Warren William and an added surprise, Gerald Mohr as a slug. Thank you so much for sharing. A new subscriber. Mesa, AZ May 6, 2022
Just loved the characters in this movie and in particular Warren William and his relationship with his man servant. Enjoyed the old style humour, some of the lines were superb. Pity about the line at the bottom of the screen but it did not detract much from the film.
I love the old films and the black and white. The only negative is the dresses of the 40's are so elegant but wish I could see them in color. The first dress was so beautiful.
The actor who played Harry Cooper was on several radio shows. He played Philip Marlowe and Archie on the Nero Wolfe Show. I thought he sounded familiar.
Warren William was more human, more believable, than John Barrymore. Barrymore himself was over-rated and over-promoted. And he drank himself to death.
What car at ~15:56? A beautiful 1941 Cadillac coupe (2 door). But not as attractive as then newcomer (relatively), Marguerite Chapman (~30:13, medium shot), who got her start after introducing herself to Howard Hughes.
Ha ha ha ha, oh God, those squeaking shoes in the dark were really hilarious, and a few times they almost sounded like farts. Ha ha ha ha ha, I can't stop laughing about it !!!

LOVE movies from the 30s and 40s. Had never seen this one before - fantastic!
Warren William and Eric Blore are an awesome buddy act. I love all these movies.
I'd rather do a buddy act with Ann Savage. ❤
Cute, I love a ‘feel-good’ Mystery; the Characters (and Acting) in this were a lot of fun!
Thank-You for posting!
The kind of movie that I never want to end!
Great classic movie that you won’t see again those were the good old days watch movies like this till this day 😊keep them coming 😊
What a great cast and a great movie too thank you for sharing this with us all to enjoy
One of the Better 'Lone Wolf' Movies. Thanks!
Warren William was a natural for the role. He could also have done the 'Falcon' film series if Tom Conway hadn't been signed for it.
Thanks for showing these old time movies!., ❤️😂👍
I’ll watch anything with Warren William in it. Thank you for sharing.
Same.
Big fan of Warren William

My father bought a 1948 Plymonth Woody, it was a beauty. I used to ride in it with him.
Larry, what a GEM that car is still today!!! By any chance, do you still own it?
That was a long time ago Was it pulled by horses?
Movie was made in 1943. 1941 Plymouth, no USA cars were manufactured from January 1942 to late 1945 during WWII.

So many great writers. So many great screenplays. Simple, funny, but there is always a twist or two!

Thanks I enjoyed the humor style, I enjoy the old detective movies. This is one I didn’t have figured out! Which makes it more enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing this never been seen before on RUclips Lone wolf movie.
Thank you SO much for putting these old classic on RUclips
Eric Blore is absolutely the cat's meow as Jamison, but it has to be with Warren Williams . . a dynamic duo!
I was clueless right to the end. Great movie. Thanks 😊
Another "new" addition to the Warren William roster! Thanks- again. He performances were both humorous and sublime.

Hi Nicolas. I Love Old Black and White Movies. Nothing like It Today. Thank You So Much For The Upload. 🤗⚘🤗⚘🤗⚘🤗⚘
Love Eric Blore as Jameson. He also provided the voice of Mr Toad in Walt Disney's animated feature The Wind and The Willows.
Double take Eric aborn scene stealer!
I love Eric in the 1934 movie 'The Gay Divorcee' with Fred Asteirs and Ginger Rogers.
I love this kind of movie. Class in actors, dialogue n plot. I figured something was up when the reporter had a note to the doorman.
Warren William was among the greatest of the large class of 1930s and 40s great actors!!!
Thank you.

these movies are great.

Warren William made 4 Perry Mason films, he was the 1st actor to portray Mason-on screen.

de blid blat kliddy ode bom blud clut fo de ro bro , fo de ro .
Why isn't Mohr in the credits?
Gerald Mohr was considered as almost a twin of Humphrey Bogart. I thought that that would have gotten him further in his career.
@@swarthyjake4433 Does any of your blather make sense to YOU?? Criminy.
@@steverhodesvideos6244 He had a significant part, but didn't rate in the opening credits. *However, you can check 'IMDb', where he is listed.
I also LOVE hearing GERALD MOHR, in the "ADVENTURES OF PHILIP MARLOWE" Radio Series!
Also listen to the announcer of the Lone Ranger, I'm sure you will recognize that voice. 😉
Just loved the characters in this movie and in particular Warren William and his relationship with his man servant. Enjoyed the old style humour, some of the lines were superb. Pity about the line at the bottom of the screen but it did not detract much from the film.
THE WOMEN ARE FOXY IN THIS MOVIE. I WISH I COULD GO BACK TO THAT ERA OF 40'S, THE 30'S TOO.
Exotique locale and characters from the 40s..Love the tracking issue on the bottom. Reminds of the good old days of vcr recording

“The Lone Wolf (Warren William), a reformed jewel thief, investigates the murder of a playboy who was blackmailing three socialites.”
my favorite Warren William movie is The Dragon Murder Case it's not on you tube. have to buy the CD but it's worth every penny
Thanks for the recommendation, having really enjoyed this film I must try and get a hold of The Dragon Murder Case.

Love that Warren Williams and Eric Blore an extra treat!
thanks
Thanks for this. ❤❤❤
I ❤️❤️❤️Warren William 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Warren William was always good.
The star reminds me a little of John Barrymore. Thanks for the glimpse of Baltimore TV at the end, but did we really need to see that?
Warren William was more human, more believable, than John Barrymore. Barrymore himself was over-rated and over-promoted. And he drank himself to death.
My favorite "Lone Wolfs," are the ones with Warren William, that plays the part of, "The Lone Wolf."
"NEW SHOES."
"SO I HEAR."
I say oh boy, jolly good fun here!
Absolutely. ✓

Lone Wolf this is great
Can't make up my mind whether Jamison's a half-witted kleptomaniac or a sly deliberate mischief-maker.
...oh and also, how do they wire the lounge room table lamps to come on with the main light(s)...
Love the personality of his "butler" (?). Quite funny little chap e was.

No, that's Gerald Mohr (1914-1968). He died of a heart attack while filming a TV pilot.
Early one for Ann Savage.
If I could only jump inside these movies.

Warren Ashe. He died young from a car accident.
