Sorry I have not been posting videos lately. Things have been kind of nuts and I have had a few videos that went so far south they never got out of editing... I think I got the yips or something. Tomorrow I'm going to shoot a amazing fish tacos video for the third time. Wish me luck! And, remember I have other channels now too. I'm not posting here I may have a new video over there. ruclips.net/channel/UCfwLVhxVHKZFOPDM8gmEQzw for Drive-Thru Kitchen and ruclips.net/channel/UCI_r6jnNPxH_Qm9kMB9Va3A for Guillermo's Cocina
I LOVED THE 7 LAYER BURRITO!!!! Oh, and the dip too. I thought you were going to show us how to make it. 😢 That's ok. Enjoyed the vid. Be Blessed!!!! 😊 Shawn
1993 . . . when the 80s really ended. I remember Taco Bell opened a restaurant right across from Mission High that year, everyone was getting 7 layer burritos for lunch back then. Awesome video, as always!
1993, ain't that the truth! They 80's was so great it needed an extra 3 years to wind down... Talk about a neighborhood TB. Wasn't there an Edward's Theaters down that road too back then? I must admit, a lot of my memories of those days never stood a chance...
@howtocooke YES! There was a two screen Edwards Cinema right there on Chrisanta drive! It closed in 1991, the last movie I saw there was Pure Luck. Tons and tons of MV/LF memories!
I saw a couple of movies there bitd. A girl I was dating lived near there so it was her fav. Mine was the twin theaters on el toro. That was across the street from the Other theaters on el toro. Hayday of the movie theaters... I loved half price Tuesdays. Of course it was called something very different back then. Can't use that phrase anymore...
I enjoyed the different format, it's a nice change of pace for a now-and-then sort of thing. I enjoy hearing a little history of the food I've enjoyed. Thanks for covering my favorite TB love-hate relationship. I loved the 7 Layer Burrito when it was assembled even close to the right way, hated taking a first bite and discovering that I just ate one whole section of one-note flavor.
I have to say, your tales of woe were the inspiration of this video. I started doing research on this burrito and it turns out your experience was not a one off. That was the most common complaint about this item. That got my brain started and here we are... Thank you
here's how to order a 7 layer select "Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito" to customize select "Fresco" style (removes Jalapeño and Cheese sauces, keeping "Beans" and "Seasoned Rice") add back "3 Cheese Blend", "Lettuce", "Tomatoes", "Guacamole", and "Reduced Fat Sour Cream" Comes out to $5.14 for me locally atm

Sounds easy. I ask for no sour cream and get double at my TB... because teenagers!
