Bill I got a trick with the fries. Put some oil on them and then bake them. It’s not fully a deep fried taste but it’s close enough so you don’t have to bust out the fryer to make a few fries. I do that with the hash brown crowns and you get that greasy flavor lol
I actually did that with these and they STILL turned out this bad. That trick works great on tots but there is just no saving crinkle fries without a deep fry.
I haven't tasted either, but the 1 pattie burger looks like something I need to make. I sense that if the 1 pattie burger had 2 patties, it would be no contest. Butter>Mayo=fact
There's really no comparison of the two ? Culvers is a fast food chain. Granted a little higher end one, but still. Solly's is a Pub Burger, pretty much one of a kind. I've made Solly's a time or two from other video's, one claiming he was a former cook there yrs ago. Both recipes were the same. Onions were a little stewier {if that's a word} using some beef broth in there. Probably more butter overall too. I was gonna add a link but didn't want to "Dis" your channel. I like them both, but I don't think you wait for the Arteries hardening with Culvers like you may get with Sully's. Love your page ! Got started on it two weeks ago, and did your Cracker Crust Pizza Dough about a week ago,,,,,,,, it was GREAT ! Now I gotta go to the store and get tub of butter for tonight.
You are correct on all points. Not sure if the beef stock is in the onions or not, perhaps. Solly's is a real burger. No fast food burger could ever compare. Yes, I did not use enough butter. Filming issue, Butter was rock solid... The only reason I put the two burgers in the same video was I got requests for both and couldn't see doing two butter burger videos. Thanks for your comment. I am happy to admit when I come up short and was not my best work... I'm still figuring all this stuff out.
Culver’s was a long drive. Your video brought home that goodness. That greatness 🤗
Yum, that Solly's burger looks seriously good.
Oh, it is! I had never tasted a "real" butter burger before that, and it shook me. That is a crazy flavor!

@@howtocooke You might have a point there.

You seem awesome, but the patty size is WAY off brotha
Which way? Too big or too small? I tried to do a ton of research and thought I was pretty close.
