Over the course of E3, I was lucky enough to stumble upon an event titles IndieSelectE3, where a number of indie titles were being handed out for free to those who followed very simple rules. I decided to use this as a chance to try a review experiment: Five Reviews in Five days, covering each of the games I was given for free.
This is video 1, which contains a more thorough explanation of the event before jumping into a review of the first title, Riddled Corpses EX by Cowcat Games. This game is a twin-stick arcade style shooter about anime girls destroying zombies. Is it any good? FInd out by watching the video!

Sweet! thanks for this. this is a game I've bookmarked. But I want to get my hands on Tesla vs Lovecraft first to satisfy my twin stick shooter needs! looking forward to the of videos especially Rad raygun. that looks pretty epic.

I actually hadn't heard of that one until your comment, Tesla vs Lovecraft just.. sounds like an absurdly great premise, and the trailer looks promising. May have to check it out myself lol.

I got this a while ago in a bundle. Not sure while, but these kind of twin stick shooters have been some of my favorite types of games to just play for a quick 30 minutes or so. Also, no one talks about Dead Nation!! That game is super fun!

I Hadn't heard about riddled corpses until now, but I've loved Dead Nation for a loooong time. I got it as a free game back during Playstations whole 'PSN is down for three months while we fix security' deal. It was probably the game I was least excited about at the time, but it's now the only one I remember as being one of the options lol. Haven't played it in a very long time... need to give it another go.
